During a recent work trip, I ventured to Huntington Beach and decided to try Morenas Mexican Cuisine--and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the filet mignon enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, and the steak was perfectly cooked. While the meal was on the pricier side, it was worth it for the quality and taste. My coworker ordered the carne asada and thought it was also very delicious!The chips and salsa were also a standout--fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start to the meal. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be returning to Morenas. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an elevated take on Mexican cuisine!

this was my first time here and i really enjoyed most of the food, all the beef items were good and so was the buffalo wings. But i got chicken tacos and taquitos, they were dry and rubbery. the staff was also short and rude, they weren't very busy and were like that from the moment we walked in. hopefully next time they will be friendlier!

My family really likes this restaurant, but the last time I went, the service wasn't great. It was slow, and I felt forgotten a few times, even having to go out of my way to get a few things for the table.I ordered the chicken mole, which was disappointing. It lacked flavor and substance--it was overly sweet with no depth or the right spices. It honestly felt like a sweetened and watered-down Doña María jar of mole, which was a letdown for such an iconic dish. It is definitely not their strongest offering.From other reviews, it seems like this isn't typical for them, but this was my experience. I'll give them another try and update my review after my next visit!

Morenas cuisine is located in Huntington Beach and it's one of those restaurants if your around the area and if you are craving Mexican food I highly recommend to check them out . The ambiance is nice very friendly and clean ! The service is on point ! They are super friendly helpful ! My family and wife came for the buffet It is 40 bucks for adults and 20 bucks per kid . It's also bottomless mimosas and soft drinks with the soft drinks . Pricing is high but it's worth it food has flavor big quantities and super flavorful. Overall check them out worth the visit ! And thank you to the friendly staff for being very accommodating

This was my first visit and my server, Hulry, was a sensational ambassador for the Morena's business! Professional, polite, kind and gave exceptional service!The restaurant is big, open, clean and has indoor/outdoor seating and then the food. The rojo salsa is delicious and the chicken fajitas were plentiful and did not disappoint. Affordable, right off the 405, this is a solid Mexican food destination!

Dined here for lunch the other day. First time for both of us. Our server was fantastic and patience with our not wanting to order right away. We had an appetizer of guacamole and it was yummy!! I finally decided on the lunch Chile Rellenos with black beans. I was surprised by how large my Chile Relleno was so .... half of it came home with for another meal. It was delicious and the black beans were the best I have ever had!!! The restaurant is spacious and clean and all the servers were very friendly. I would love to eat on their patio when it isn't so hot. I did tell our server they need to open up closer to Long Beach. However, I do plan on going back with friends to check out something else on their menu.

Just had lunch here, and it was so good. Located right by the railroad tracks on Edinger, next to Taco Bell. The restaurant is spacious, clean, bright, and nicely decorated. There were about 5 other groups of diners already there having lunch. We were greeted and seated right away.We ordered the nachos with steak for our appetizer. My main was the Carne asada with shrimp, came with rice, beans and choice of warm tortilla. The steaks for both dishes were cooked perfectly. It was tender and had so much flavor. My shrimps (4 pieces) were large, cooked perfectly, and the sauce was to die for. I dipped everything in that sauce. My main was the best dish I had in any Mexican restaurant.My husband got the carnitas street tacos that came with beans and rice. He said it was good. He finished his whole meal. So he really liked it. My daughter got the kid's quesadilla with fries. She ate a few fries but stuffed herself with the complimentary chips we got before our meal, so she didn't finish anything from her plate. Staff was attentive and friendly. Checked on us often. Would highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back to try other items.

F O O DOMG where do I start? It was my first time here and my sister and I started with the flautas de camaron. The flautas were so big and generous with the shrimp. And oh my absolutely crispy! It was served with a side of guacamole and a mango salsa which added a nice sweetness to the dish. We then had the seafood enchiladas and tacos dorados with beef. I don't know what the green sauce for their enchilada is made of but it's sooo good! And their refried beans comes with gooey cheese on top which I love. The tacos dorado was super hot and crispy; a bit on the dry side but ask for a side of salsa and you're good to go! I do not even know where to begin! My mom brought me for brunch and let me tell you, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The beans, the rice, the fresh tortilla de mano, the green chile was heavenly! Also their menudo was so flavorful I went back for a third bowl! They have seafood as well, and desert! Honestly I cannot wait to go back I am so excited for their food!
