Monster Hot Chicken

We stopped in to Monster Hot Chicken on a Friday evening and it was empty aside from one guy. The place is small and has room for about 8-10 guests to eat. The menu is pretty straightforward without a lot of options to clutter things. You can basically order a 2 piece chicken tender combo, 2 piece tender sandwich or a 1 piece tender combo 1 piece tender sandwich... there's some salad options and noodles as well. We got the 2 piece tender combo and the 2 piece tender sandwich with the spice level of Hot. My husband said he would have gone up to a higher spice level and I enjoyed the hot but would probably go down a level next time as my stomach hurt a bit the next day. We initially wanted to order the family meal but you're only allowed to choose one flavor for the entire family... some of us like it super spicy and some don't so we ended up having to order two original chicken tenders on the side so our son could eat as well. Really wish you could have multiple flavors in that, which is really why I'm deducting a star. It also took a bit of time for the chicken to be prepared, but the flavor and juiciness makes up for that. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist inside so it was a good combo. I did really enjoy this place, but just not the stomachache the next day so if/when I return, I'll probably go down to the mild. The workers (who I assume were also the owners) were very nice and gracious as well!

This is my go to Korean chicken sandwich place in the area. Great size tenders used for their sandwich and good tasting slaw. Overall a good sandwich. The fries are just average; frozen fries bought at the store. The additional sauce portion is small and it'll be additional cost for each additional one you want.Personally, I think the price is fair. Food is made-to-order, so if you don't order ahead, it will be, at least, a 15-minute wait. Yes, 15 minutes, depending on how many orders are ahead of you - sometimes it's just the male owner, at times, it'll be both husband and wife. I've waited close to 30 minutes before when the male owner is by himself.

First time here! I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was hot and tasty. My only thing was the coleslaw was kinda small but was good.

This is the best fried chicken sandwich around. The sauce is amazing and the spice is not just hot. It's also flavorful. I've been here a lot and never reviewed the reason for my review is I want to know where did this guy go? If you were the owner and you moved. Please respond and I will come to your new location went by a few days ago and I saw it was under construction for a new type of fried chicken. My wife and I are avid fans of yours and your monster hot chicken. Please let us know as soon as possible thanks.

Man this place was good, I mean better than Dave's & Howlin Rays.. Hate to see them close down ..

Great food and owners are wonderful! My 4 year old is a picky eater, but even she loved it. Place is clean and kept very nicely. We'll definitely be back

Came Back for more from this new Hot Chicken spot . Ordered sandwich combo very good great portions and friendly staff. My order was ready quickly everything was hot and fresh I would definitely recommend if you like Hot chicken . I will be back again soon.

My husband and I came in today with our son to try out this new chicken food place... omg BEST spicy chicken sandwich I ever had. I truly recommend this place if you're out here in La Habra, gotta try it!! There's more... their secret sauce is amazing it's spicy and tangy and the fries are so good. Definitely we're coming back. Thank you!!!

First time here & the owner was very welcoming. We're about to try the food & it looks/smells delicious. Korean & Nashville style, yum.

Pretty good food. Love eating here for my lunch. Ther service was good and did t take long to get my food.
