Surprisingly very good and i am a filipino food snob. A couple of friends recommended them and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a catering formy daughter's bridal shower. but before i did that i have to try it first. The servers are very pleasant, Joyce is very nice and respectful. If youorder a certain amount more than $600, they will deliver for a small fee. The location is a little far from the freeway buy if the food is good Distance isnt an issue. They have a lot of sitting space, clean just needs more lighting. Its highly recommended.

You can say food was good delicious blah blah blah at this place but you can NEVER give their customer service a 5-star rating. Literally heard the cashier insulted a customer in Tagalog and they prolly thought we dont speak the language. Talk about ambience? Toxicity right when you walk in. Ive known this place for years and that one time I walk-in I would see and hear that encounter? I'll just take my money elsewhere. People remember you on how you treat others. Dont be in food industry if you got no patience and people skills to begin with.

This is a restaurant located in a small plaza on Ball Rd; it's become my go to on Sundays. Gotta try the lumpia Shanghai, man. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. I can't get tired of them. My mom always asks me to bring her some, even my picky nephew liked them!Being completely honest, I never really know the name of what I'm ordering, I just point at whatever catches my attention and so far everything that I've had is delicious. Try the chicken and the pork skewers, they're cooked to perfection

Been craving some good chicken adobo, like that of Laila's in Seattle's Oriental Mart at Pike's Place. Has something in Montebello and it was so salty! So here we are at MJ's. Definitely not a pretentious place, very far from it! It's very down to earth hometown vibes and heard a lot of Tagalog being spoken so we were definitely at the right spot! The downside to Turo-Turo food is how hot the food actually gets or is sustained. My food was warm, not hot so that's why 4 stars. The ladies serving were very nice and pleasant and we had no complaints on how we were treated. If we are in the area, we would definitely stop by!

This place offers a variety of Filipino food, snacks and even drinks! When we don't have time to cook at home, MJ's is our go to Pinoy food. Fast and delish! Sisig and Pancit Malabon are my faves! They even have leche flan too!

I did a search for the best lumpia in OC and this place came up as an option. It was New Years Eve at like 3pm and it said they closed at 5. I called to see if they could make me a tray of 100 lumpia and without hesitation the woman on the phone said let me check if we some left... after a minute she came back and said yes and can I come before 5. I was shocked. We got the lumpia and served them as an appetizer for a New Years Eve Party and they were a huge success. We told everyone where we got them and encouraged them to go there as well. We will be repeat customers 100%.

Their tocino and pork bbq are delicious and their included soup is a great accompaniment to your meal. My husband is a fan of their longanisa and dinuguuan. The ladies are nice and it's a quick in and out for your meal. The only thing that's disappointing is the lack of garlic fried rice, which is a Filipino food staple that would make their food even better.

Wanted filipino food prior to our Disneyland Trip. Found this location. The place looked sketchy, with broken windows and run down entry doors. We took our chances. The place inside felt like little Manila. No AC and it was stuffy and warm. Ordered SISIG and Caldereda. My surprise it was actually pretty good.Overall, I recommend. It is definitely a moms and pops store. If you don't mind the home type of ambiance, you are good to go.

1. The lechon was crispy and delicious! The rice and pancit were comforting!2. The spot has fast casual vibes as your order would usually be pickup and carry out!3. There are few indoor tables!4. Staff were friendly for my first-time experience! The lechon was not displayed in the front, but they kindly told me they have them in the kitchen!5. Parking lot is small but it was not packed!Note: There is a discount for using cash!Photo: Rice and Pancit Combo with Lechon Kawali and Boba Milk Tea
