Miyako

We came in for lunch on a week day and were seated right away. The service was good. Ambiance is a semi big, Korean Japanese restaurant. We ordered a family style meal that came with lots of sides, pork katsu, soup, corn cheese, and of course the sushi and sashimi.- Sashimi platter (5/5): Tased fresh, good portion size, good variety. Even has uni!- Rainbow roll (5/5): Also very yummy, fresh, big portion.

Miyako is a Korean-Japanese restaurant with all the standard Japanese restaurant offerings from bento boxes to rolls. We came on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and were seated quickly since the restaurant wasn't busy. After placing our order, the waitress brought out some banchan. I ordered a Miyako Combo w/ Chef's Choice Sashimi, Chicken Teriyaki, and Mixed Tempura. The combo also came with miso soup and a bowl of rice. The mixed tempura was my favorite part of the combo. The sashimi was 3 pieces of yellowtail and 3 pieces of albacore. The combo was overall okay in flavor but great in terms of quantity.

Had dinner reservations at Miyako for Mother's Day this year. We frequent here for their sashimi combos, which includes a variety of seafood, tempura, grilled fish, cheese corn, and spicy soup with scorched rice at the end. For the 3 of us, 1 order of small sashimi combo + 1 roll was more than plenty of food and we had leftovers. My favorite roll is the Miyako Roll: shrimp tempura + salmon + avocado + cucumber + crabmeat on the inside, and topped with eel and avocado. The rolls are THICK and almost too big to take in one bite! The service is one of the fastest I've seen and the food comes out instantly without compromising the freshness and quality. Parking is free and abundant in the plaza.

Been coming here for years. Good sashimi style restaurant! Fish is fresh and service is fast. They run out of seats so make sure you call ahead to see if there is room for your party.

Huge platter of sashimi is SOOOOO Good!!! Thick slices and plenty of them!!! Bring friends!!!

I always get the sashimi combo and I personally like the assortments here better than other places. The cuts are very thick and huge which may not be preferred for some people since it can be too fishy and fatty. The toro cut is my favorite, just melts away and they are generous with it. Price isn't cheap and has been increasing lately, it is $300+ for a large. However, this feeds 6 people in addition with other good quality side dishes. Other places usually serve side dishes that are usually frozen food heated up to make the combo set look fulfilling, but Miyako serves with quality.

This is a very solid Korean style sushi restaurant. They have good Korean dishes as well as good sushi/sashimi. Service was attentive and kind and I think the prices are very fair. Their lunch specials are available even on the weekends which is nice. Will definitely come again

I am giving this place a 5 stars because the food was amazing (super good Sashimi), our server was very friendly great staff. I personally like the Sashimi Combo which is always fresh and delicious.

Korean-style sashimi with thick slices and good texture.The basic side dishes are almost always the same...that's okay. However, the price is not cheap these days, perhaps because all prices have risen. The large-sized assorted sashimi looks great.

The sashimi here is always fresh and delicious. We got the large mixed sashimi set for 5 people and we couldn't finish it. Luckily they packed it up for us and even included ice to make sure it stayed cold. The service is quick and attentive, they have buttons in the table to call for service and they were very prompt. The restaurant itself is very clean and the noise level ranges from medium to medium+, it depends on when you go. I didn't take pics of everything as we were all enjoying ourselves so I forgot. There is also a cooked fish, tempura, a seafood stew and I'm sure I'm forgetting other sides but there were so many. Highly recommend this place!
