Great! The wait was anticipated to be 45 minutes but only had to wait ~15-20. Service was kind They include a service fee and request no tips on the bill. Interior decor is cool and around 8, they start playing music and it has nightlife vibesss.Food was all delicious, we got:Rose tteokbokki - not spicy at all, is actually rabboki bc it comes with ramen. Pork belly- so good and crispy, but not super oily. Comes with garlic, kimchi, and chili Garlic wings- very garlicky and delicious. Has a couple of fried duk as a little surprise. Came with pickled radish which was a perfect refresher from the wings

I loved: Rose Tteok-bokki I really liked: Bone-in Garlic Chicken This was ok: Tasty Cheesy Popping Corn Pancake The #goodeats here were flavorful and hearty, and the portions were definitely on the larger side, making it feel more worth the price. The standout dish for me was the Rose Tteok-bokki. It had a creamy base with just the right kick of spice -- not overwhelming, but flavorful enough to keep you coming back for more. Absolutely loved it!The Bone-in Garlic Chicken was solid too. Tender and garlicky, it came with a side of tteok-bokki, which was a nice touch. Perfectly crispy and savory. The Cheesy Popping Corn Pancake was good, but nothing special. It had a fun, cheesy flavor but didn't blow me away like the other dishes did. I'd honestly rather have the more traditional corn cheese. Barley tea was complimentary, pretty refreshing and a nice touch to balance out the richness of the food. The place was super busy, even on a Saturday night. There was a 45-minute wait inside, but the outdoor seating had no wait at all. We were offered to sit outside, but unfortunately, the server seemed to forget about us. I had to go hunt down someone to take our order, which was a bit annoying.I appreciated the 10% fee instead of tipping directly, which works for me. The food came out quickly, so despite the little hiccup with service, I'd definitely come back!Overall, I'll be back for more of that Rose Tteok-bokki and garlic chicken. A great spot for a casual but flavorful Korean pub experience!

This place is pretty decent for a night of chill drinking with some Korean food on the side, serving size of dishes are pretty big. I will say that this place is pretty pricey for what it is though. The food is okkaaayy. They do have a good variety of drinks. Service is pretty decent, food and drinks come out pretty quick even though it gets pretty busy and packed. Workers are so-so, some are nice, some are okay. Music playlists have a mix of kpop and hip hop, which I think is a good balance. I def recommend it for people who love authentic Korean food and drinks.

Came here for the first time on the way home from an event. Event ended late so there weren't too many late night eating options. My friend found this place off of yelp. Definitely a pleasant surprise, i dont go to Buena Park often, we were on the way back from Commerce Casino and this place was right off the freeway. Great little spot, nice blend of traditional korean comfort food with some fusion dishes as well. We had a group of foodies so we got quite the assortment of dishes. The beef rib, the pancake and the fried intestine was the consensus favorite. Also the garlic chicken. We also had the shrimp and salmon and spicy fried chicken as well. Im definitely going to come back here at some point and explore the menu some more!

If you're looking for a Korean street pub experience, Misoolkwan is the place to be! From the moment I walked in, the cozy yet lively atmosphere transported me straight to the streets of Seoul. The dim lighting, rustic decor, and upbeat energy made it the perfect spot for a casual night out with friends. The corn cheese pizza is an absolute treat! It's the perfect balance of gooey, cheesy goodness with a touch of sweetness from the corn, making every bite ridiculously addictive. But the real star for me? The soy sauce raw shrimp - fresh, flavorful, and marinated to perfection. Each bite was packed with umami, and I couldn't get enough of it! The spicy cold soup with raw beef was another standout - refreshing, bold, and packed with heat, making it the perfect dish to cool down while still keeping things exciting. And don't sleep on the clam soup - light yet deeply flavorful, it's the ultimate comfort dish that rounds out the meal perfectly.

Came to try this popular spot at the Source. It was quite crowded with a waiting list around 7:30pm. We waited a bit over 30 minutes before getting seated. The place has dim ambiance with a well decorated historical architecture theme.Although the place was pretty packed, there were a lot of workers and the service was great.10/10We ordered the stir fried pork belly with kimchi, the fried chicken, seafood pancake, and tteok-bokki.The food was overall okay. Fried chicken was very basic fried chicken.6.5/10Pork belly was also very normal tasting.5/10Tteok-bokki was good. The sauce was creamy with egg and sausage.7.5/10The seafood pancake was good and probably the best out of the dishes 8/10

I finally checked out this restaurant after passing by it so many times in the Source Mall. We arrived at 5:15 PM, and there was plenty of seating available. The exterior and interior decor reminds me of a rustic Japanese pub. If you've seen the K-Drama "Itaewon Class," the decor resembles that of the large pub featured in the show. We asked the server for recommendations and chose two of his suggestions. The service was friendly and helpful, however, I cannot say the food was anything special. Personally, I think the Kimchi Pork Belly, Garlic Chicken, and Bulgogi are mediocre, and I cannot recommend any of them.So why should someone dine here? The lively atmosphere allows people to talk away their troubles while enjoying shots of soju and refreshing beer. While there are plenty of these kinds of places in Koreatown, Los Angeles, there are very few in the Orange County area.

Il cha, I cha, Sam cha! Misoolkwan OC was our last spot of the night since they're one of the spots that close the latest in the area. The interior is a modern take on a Korean pub. It's super loud and rowdy, as all the other patrons are there drunking it up too. We shared a Tasty Cheesy Poppin' Corn Pancake ($23), Truffle Potato ($15), a Chamisul Fresh ($13) and 2 Cokes ($3/each). Ugh I don't recommend that poppin corn pancake, they put on low grade parmesan cheese on top and it was smelly and stiff. Didn't care for more than one piece and didn't care to take any togo. The truffle potato were basically fries. I smelled the truffle oil but it looked so naked and nothing like the photo on the menu where there were garnishes. I would only come back here when there's no other option... but I really rather not. I like good snacks for the purpose of drunk munchies. The menu was super limited and the orders are all large sharing portions.
