Mexico 1900 Restaurant

Great family restaurant. Our friends come here often and the waiters already knew what they wanted. The service was great: fast and friendly. I shared the combo fajitas with the wife and we still took some home. This was the one person serving. Very tasty and enjoyed the salsa. Definitely would come back. The place is very nicely decorated and there is a bar on the other half of the restaurant that can also act as a small party room. Drinks are a little pricey so I am sure that they are not getting too many people visiting the bar.

I been going here for years and the food is good and the servers are nice and helpful. I enjoy having a couple beers with Mexican food it just makes the meals better. But my last time I went I paid 8.50 for a bottle of beer! With tax that's almost 10 dollars for a 12 ounce bottle of modelo! I had 3 beers at almost 30 dollars!! I wouldn't have done that had I known the pricing! At 10 dollars for a beer it should be 22 ounces of a tap. I will not return due to these prices and if I did I wouldn't order a beer. These owners need to quit the greed before they lose more customers.

My mom and step dad went here over the weekend and I had them bring me home a plate of their camarones al mojo de ajo (garlic shrimp). The shrimp tasted like refrigerator and the garlic shrimp had no flavor other than the loads of unsalted melted butter it came with/in. I decided to try my luck with the chips and salsa. The salsa was pace salsa (the stuff you buy at the market) with a bit of water and cilantro for flavor. My parents didn't have a better experience than I did. They said they're not going back because their food was not great either. Save your $. Go some place worth your while. Try Veracruz in Downey.

This place never misses! We haven't been there in quite a while and it was even better than we remembered. Portion sizes are huge, chips and salsa are delicious, we can't wait to go back!

This place sets a good example of how exceptional the Azteca plate is the best!!!The rice is also good, and the filtered water is refreshing. The atmosphere is lively and suitable for families and friends, or even a small birthday party. It's a place worth visiting!Victor Yeah

This place has been a great go to spot in La Mirada for years now but unfortunately it has not been consistent lately. You walk in and you are greeted by friendly staff. The interior gives Mexican Family restaurant vibes with traditional paintings and the Copa playing on the TV. My go to Steak Picado was a bit overcooked and lacking some seasoning. My wife ordered the flautas and they were "pretty good." The guacamole, chips, and salsa has been known to be fire but lately they have been lacking. The service was friendly as always but for being a slow dinner night they did take a while to come around to check for refills and even to pick up and drop off the check. The family behind me ordered what smelled and sounded like a fajita plate and the scent made me wish I ordered that. I will come back and hopefully revise this post and give it a 4 or higher.

Just had shrimp and chicken fajitas and crab enchiladas and the menudo allllll of us sisters shared and food was actually delicious and well heated and presentation was amazing please come eat ... food was so delicious

Had the wet burrito it was good but the shredded beef was okay. I liked the interior very nice and interesting the waiter and waitress were really nice. I would come back but to try something else on the menu

Review this place 9 yrs ago Prices have gone (like everything else).Food is still great.Chips are not fresh all the time and salsa is weak.Worse is the margaritas - used to feel the alcohol- there is nothing now it's like it's watered down -I will start skipping them at $15!

Went last week for a family dinner and the margaritas tasted pre made, no alcohol just syrup, I ordered the enchiladas verde, and the verde sauce tasted like it came out of can. Service could have been good if the workers acted like they wanted to work and not hate their lives. Won't be here again
