McKinley's Grille

Started off with great service. We were staying at the Sheraton hotel and they welcomed us warmly. Mentioned that they had dine-in, delivery and pick up. They also mentioned that delivery had a fee so if we just pick up, it would be cheaper which was nice to know and easy since we were staying there.Ordered two food items on two mornings with coffee. They have regular coffee and their espresso Starbucks machine allowing for more options (yay coffee fans). They also call your room when your food is ready to pick up so you can continue getting ready while you wait.They even grabbed me change from the front desk so I could break a note. Great service.

What a gem of a place!This restaurant is located inside the Sheraton Fairplex in Pomona. At first I was worried because this was really the only place to eat at the hotel and there is nothing to eat within walking distance. THANKFULLY this place is really good. I came here for breakfast and loved it. I got the Monte Cristo and added scrambled eggs to the sandwich. Honestly... probably the best Monte Cristo I've ever had! Everything was cooked perfect and the seasonal blackberry jam took it to the next level. It also came with potatoes which were good. $20 seems a little expensive for a breakfast that small, but with no other eating options, I'm glad the quality at least kind of justified the price. Definitely come here for breakfast if you're staying here.

Came here for lunch during the Grand Nationals Roadster show and the food was great! Yes, there was a bit of a wait but it wasn't terrible. We ordered the chicken chipotle sandwich, clam chowder, a burger and salad everything was so well portioned and tasted great. Our server was a bit overwhelmed but handled the busy Saturday lunch rush like a champ. Can't wait to come back for the food.

I picked up some food to go from this grille while staying at the Sheraton hotel and needing a quick dinner one night! The turkey club sandwich was delicious! Totally hit the spot and you get to choose what side you want- I opted for a salad, which was also delicious. The bread was so fresh and the veggies were crisp! It was packaged up in a container and bag for me to take to go, which was nice for carrying to my room. I noticed several items on the menu that looked tasty, so would recommend giving them a try! The waitress taking my order was friendly and served me a glass of wine while I waited for my food to be ready. Definitely a convenient place right in the Sheraton hotel.

Always fast,prompt, and good! I love the ambiance here. Love the dark quiet of the bar. The Moscow Mule kicks "A**" Both our fries the regular and sweet potato were so dang good. The food here is great too. Looking forward to breakfast

My review is based on two experiences. 1. Dinner - Overall service was very good. Server was prompt and attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I had the McKinley's burger which was really good! Nice and tall burger that tasted great. Your side is a choice of fries, salad, fruit or sweet potato fries. I ordered sweet potato and it was good! Reasonable price for the plate at $20.2. Breakfast - It is a buffet style breakfast which had offerings of eggs scrambled soft (plus to me, I don't like overcooked eggs), pancakes (really good!), seasoned potatoes, bacon, veggie frittata, and sausage (did not like at all, it's really dense and I have no idea what it is made of). The beverage service during breakfast was a lot different than dinner. The server took our drink order but completely disappeared. It was a good while before we hailed down a manager who helped get our beverages. The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey - about $28/person.

I've been meaning to Yelp our amazing experience and am finally getting to it. We always stay at the Sheraton when the Reptile Expo is going on. After the auction, everyone makes their way to the bar to eat before heading to our rooms. This past Expo, we didn't get to the bar on time and there were no seats available for our group of 7. My husband peeked over to the restaurant and asked the manager (I forget her name and I'm so sorry for that) if they were closed for the night. She cheerfully said they could seat us outside on the patio since it was a beautiful night. We absolutely did not want to be a burden and they made us feel extremely welcomed. Our server (I want to say her name was Tammy, but I could be wrong) was an absolute doll. We all ordered food and drinks, she had no problems with splitting tabs, and made sure we were all taken care of. We could tell she had to go on break cause someone else looked after us for a while and she was just as amazing. Our food was good as always, but the service was the highlight of our experience. I just wanted to thank the amazing servers and managers for staying later than they should have to make sure we had a great time. We stay there 3 times a year and every time, service is impeccable! We stay at the Sheraton every year for the grand national roadster show and always eat at McKinleys grill, it's easy and convenient and has always been good in the past. Well this is the last time we'll be eating there. Asked for a red wine glass (for a nice bottle of red) and received a regular wine glass that was incredibly dirty. There was cinnamon sugar dumped all over our sweet potato fries (gross), the childrens macaroni and cheese that says "elbow macaroni with a three cheese sauce" is actually KRAFT, which I don't feed my child. And the $12 cheesecake is not much bigger than a silver dollar.

The menu on yelp is 5 years old. Now they have 4 different dishes. They messed up on my iced tea refill and gave me apple just. The lemon pasta was very dry.

This restaurant is inside the Sheraton Hotel. The food is good, but it is crazy overpriced. The service is good. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite members. I have almost 100 nights in Marriott hotels this year. I travel a lot. I get perks. Here, I chose free breakfast.They have a nice buffet here. Not the usual crappy one. My free breakfast did not give me the buffet. If gave me a list of basic menu entrees I could choose from. A discount menu for the discount breakfast. I did not feel elite. I felt cheated. How much would it really cost them to show their regular customers a little love?I have stayed at this particular hotel a lot. The management has made the breakfast perk worse and worse over time.I think I need to look for somewhere else to stay.
