This is not our first choice but we are very happy with the outcome of the food. They had a special menu for the New Year's Eve which is $50/person. We were enticed to come in and have dinner. It was a 3 course meal and this is what we had. Appetizers - House Salad Entree's - Glazed PorkChop with Mashed Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts - 6 oz Steak with Broccolini and Mashed Potatoes Desserts - Cheesecake - Rumcake Cocktail- Sangria (what a refreshing drink)All superb and deliciously flavorful. We enjoyed the food to the fullest. Our server came to check on us regularly and made sure that we were good. The restaurant is a nice place to take your date or family to have some good food and drinks.

We came back to McCormick's because the first time left us wanting some more delicious food. We decided to spend our Valentine's dinner here on Saturday evening. Luckily this place wasn't as crazy busy as Cheesecake Factory was. However, I made sure to make reservations and that's always recommended if you're going to be dining in at one of the restaurants in Garden Walk. It was pretty much downhill once we checked in. We arrived 10 minutes before the reservation and we were let known that we'd be sat way before and we ended up getting sat down 5 minutes after. Not even bad but just don't tell everyone that coming in lol. Get our hopes up and all. The hostess was the best worker there. Sadly she wasn't our waitress. Once we sat down, I could get the gist of how busy the restaurant once and they seemed low staffed for servers. So we tried our best to be patient. Well...We didn't get water for about 15 minutes. The complimentary sourdough bread came about 15 minutes after our appetizers were devoured. The ahí tuna did not taste fresh whatsoever. I wanted to send it back but my partner decided to just eat it. What a waste. The calamari was surprisingly very tasty and my favorite was the rib eye I ordered. They did cook it to my liking and request and it was the juiciest piece of meat I've had in a while. That's the only reason I'd come back. Just to have that. Our server was all over the place and he was trying his best but the overall vibe of the night, if I can sum it up in one word... disorganized.

I have come here before and had decent experiences but I would not recommend this place to anyone ever again!I ordered the Waygu Steak Frites which was almost a $50 meal by itself and decided on a bottle of wine in the $40 price range. As I went alone I chose to sit at the bar because I always feel guilty taking up a table solo, even if I overtip. They were friendly enough upon my arrival and only 5 people were in the bar area on this particular night. I figured that would be good for service but it wasn't. I started with a glass of water and then after placing my order I asked to try two different wines and selected one to purchase a bottle of after confirming I could take what was left home. Once my meal arrived I tried the fries first which were delicious. I promptly removed the ketchup as I don't use it and noticed the steak sauce and presentation was lacking and it looked extremely dark but I was thinking it was the lack of lighting. It wasn't. After trying to cut the first piece of steak I moved on to another to find it just as hard and extremely chewy. Not what I ordered. I waited patiently as the bar tenders talked to each other and worked on my reflection on goal planning for the year waiting for one of them to check in or pause. I made it through about two of the small pieces of steak and then asked if I could get some steak butter. The bartenders response was there would be an up charge. I said never mind then because I'm already extremely disappointed in this meal. At this point the bartender who took my order came over hearing the other bar tender ask me how I ordered my steak. They said yeah that's not medium do you want me to have another made and I said I hate to waste and at this point it was already 20 minutes after receiving my meal so I didn't want to wait for another one. She went and got me more of whatever sauce the steak was sitting on. I dipped a few more pieces in and finally gave up. For an 8 oz steak it looked to be about 6 oz when I got it and definitely only a few of those were even edible. On top of that I refilled my own wine glass!!!! If you order a bottle of wine it's customary the wait staff refill it for you. Instead I was serving myself like I would at home, which is clearly what I should have done if I wanted to eat a decent steak and meal. As I was taking myself out for my evening of reflection I had already made sure to get cash for a 20% tip of what I intended to order because I wanted to tip in cash. Despite the horrible meal and extreme lack of service, of course I still left the tip because I felt bad and at least had to leave something. I wish I had never come here and spent the $100 elsewhere because I had saved up for this just to have some $100 fries essentially and take wine home. If you made it this far do yourself a favor and go someone else. Cheesecake Factory is even wayyyyy better than this if you're in the area!!!I wish I could get my money back. Also, they DO NOT validate!!!

Stopped in for happy hour after driving out for a Disneyland trip. The happy hour menu is fantastic. The fish tacos were perfectly cooked. My wife ordered the bruschetta and flatbread and both were outstanding. The staff was super friendly. The old fashioned was on point and having it on happy hour price was even better.

We had a marvelous New Year's Eve dinner. Everything was just perfect. The ambiance, the food, the service. Our server Chera took very good care of us. We started with the Shrimp Cocktail and the Seared Ahi Tuna. These were jumbo shrimp and the tuna was so fresh. If you don't like heat then leave off the jalapeño.Everyone in our group (except me) ordered various steaks and enjoyed them thoroughly. Filet Minion and Ribeye were the most popular. We shared an order of the Lobster Mash - so good! It was like lobster bisque poured over buttery mashed potatoes.I'm not a steak lover so I had a Walnut Mixed Green salad and the Shrimp Kisses as my entree. The salad was a little overdressed, made me wince a bit, but still pretty good. The shrimp kisses were giant shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. I highly recommend these, whether you order them as an appetizer or your meal. They are delicious. After our leisurely dinner, we enjoyed the seasonal dessert- Pumpkin Cheesecake. Even if you don't like pumpkin, you will love this. It was light and fluffy with a spiced cream sauce to pour over. Even though we were stuffed, these desserts disappeared quickly. Service throughout was attentive, continuous water refills, empty dishes whisked away, timely drink reorders. It was a very relaxing and elegant experience.

This McCormick & Schmick's Grille location is located at the STC Anaheim GardenWalk mall and near Disneyland. There is a parking structure but unfortunately they don't validate parking which is a shame. However, parking is free for the first hour and is $4/hour afterward. We ordered the voyage ($35) which included one appetizer and one main entree. We chose the New England clam chowder and the lobster carbonara. The clam chowder was good but was just too small of a portion for my liking. I liked the creaminess and the lobster in the lobster carbonara but it was missing some salt and we weren't fans of the peas in the dish. We also liked the royal miyagi oysters ($3.80) more than the pink lady ones because they were meatier and saltier. For drinks I ordered the #M&S ($14) which was balanced and easy to drink. The food took a while to come out but the service was good.

Have not been here in a while but usually the service and food is 1000 percent better. We came to celebrate my aunt bday this past Sunday for the Jubilee $50 meal, which is a steal. However, our server was extremely slow and took her time to take out our orders. It took 45 or longer for our salads and that was sooo wrong. Then the food finally came, which I ordered the stuffed shrimp and crab halibut and it was just decent, not nothing to go crazy for. The crab cake was decent too but not even hot. For my drink I ordered the dolce sangria and it was ok because after awhile it got watery. The ambience is nice and it gets pretty busy on the weekends. However, not sure if I will be back! Parking is expensive too! So make sure to be prepared it can go up to $18I would say come here for the deals, but other than that, the service was not good but the hostess made it better with their good personalities! -Marshay D.

McCormick is conveniently located at the Garden Walk. This is our second time here and I can only speak to the bar area but we have always enjoyed our experience with appetizers, drinks and meals. Service was great and the staff was attentive. Ambiance in comparison to some of the adjacent restaurant like Bubba Gump, PF Chang's and CPK, it's nicer. Overall, a nice place to grab some drinks and a nice meal. From a price point in the area and having a nice relaxing meal, we enjoyed it. We live locally and will typically visit the AMC theatre after.
