Original mazemen
Chicken Karaage - soy based batter for Umami. Size was somewhat inconsistent, but kids like it.
Bulgogi Mazemen
Bulgogi Rice Bowl
Thin noodles. Perfect fit to the flavorful broth.
Veggie Croquette - deep fried, not hard but very crispy!!
Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen
Kimchi Mazemen - Kimchi gives this version a unique flavor. My wife loves it.
Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen - I personally very much like this. Maybe because of the shredded cut green onions in the broth.
Kimchi Mazemen after mixing it up. Flavorful!

Really tasty, great concept, good service, and clean inside! Would definitely come back again! - They have Mochi ice cream dessert in strawberry and matcha flavorsGot the: - Chasu Mazeman: 10/10, my favorite. It's charred nicely and just pairs so well with the toppings- kimchi Mazeman: 10/10, not too fermented- bulgogi Mazeman: 8.5/10, delicious but not sure it goes as well as the kimchi or the ChasuHow to eat: 1. Mix the toppings with the noodles (like a bibimbap) 2. mix in some vinegar to enhance the taste after a couple bites3. After finishing the noodles, Lap up the delicious leftover sauce by asking for some rice to create your own rice bowl Parking: adequate. shared lot with the other businesses in the strip lotIf I'm honest, they got us hooked and we will now be regulars, lol

My husband got the Bulgogi rice bowl and I got the Donkatsu rice bowl. The Bulgogi rice bowl was just edible. Nothing memorable at all. Same with the Donkatsu rice bowl. The Katsu itself was not super crispy nor juicy. The sauce in both of these bowls are nothing special. The amount of food was slightly small for the price. I was barely full after eating my portion.

my bf and i were craving noodles so we decided to come here. the menu looked pretty promising and the concept was super interesting. so you're supposed to mix everything together and add vinegar, then when you're done you add rice. i saw some reviews saying they were provided free rice but i wasn't offered any so i was a little confused as to why.i got the bulgogi mazemen and while it didn't taste bad, it was underwhelming to say the least. maybe i wasn't doing it right but i didn't taste any difference after adding the vinegar. we also got the donkatsu, which i really enjoyed, the breading was nice and crispy and the pork was juicy. all in all, good ambiance and service but food wasn't anything mind blowing that would make me want to come back.

We went about an hour and a half before closing, so there was no wait! The servers were nice and the food was absolutely delicious! The combination of flavors for each individual bowl complimented each other so well. My favorite was the bulgogi bowl of noodles, it had the most appealing flavors for my preference. You were also offered some rice to mix with any leftover sauce once you have finished your noodles. There were also rice bowls with the same toppings but we all opted for the noodles so we will def have to go back and try them! Overall great place and would live to have again.

Having had Menya Hanabi -- Mazera is like a light cousin with some Korean twist. That being said, I love Menya Hanabi's more, but I like the proximity of this location :p Clean restaurant with kind service.Original mazesoba (4/5) - lighter and less complex in taste (maybe menya hanabi uses some curry powder?) you get a scoop of rice at the end :)

Never had broth less ramen before so I just had to try this place. I decided on the Bulgogi mazeman and we also ordered the regular and spicy tonkatsu. I would recommend sticking to the variation of maze and since that is what they are known for and the noodles and thick and heavy. The tonkatsus have super thin noodles and very little meat. My bulgogi mazeman was creamy and rich in flavor. I was not sure how much vinegar to add midway eating but I didn't notice too big of a difference. Adding rice at the end was a nice twist. Service was good.

Looking for the best fusion noodle spot in town? Mazera Ramen in La Habra is a must-visit! This cozy noodle spot specializes in mazemen, and every dish is packed with flavor and hearty portions. What I ordered:- Chashu Mazemen ($16.49) - Kimchi Mazemen ($15.99) - Gyoza ($6.50) - Fried Oyster ($8.50) - Chicken Karaage ($8.00) - Bulgogi Mazemen ($15.49) The standout for me was the Kimchi Mazemen - a perfect mix of flavor, crunch, and texture in every bite. But the real star of the meal? The finishing touch: rice provided at the end to soak up all the remaining sauce. Mixing it in creates a whole new dish that's absolutely THE BEST!If you're into bold flavors and innovative twists on ramen, Mazera won't disappoint!

This place serves several variations of mazemen (brothless ramen) but I think Original Mazemen is the way to go. It comes with spicy minced pork, poached egg, green onions, chives, seaweed, garlic, and fish powder. Flavor isn't quite as strong as places like MoguMogu, but I also don't get as much of an MSG attack either. I tried the Bulgogi Mazemen and Tonkotsu Ramen as well, but they weren't as good as the Original. The Tonkotsu Ramen tasted weird so I never ordered it again on my repeat visits. Service was friendly but the staff can do a better job in explaining how to eat mazemen for first time customers. There's an instruction on the table but would be nice if they can give verbal instruction and offer some rice at the end, instead of having to ask for it.

I love mazeman, and this place did not disappoint. There's an open kitchen, so you see your food being made, and the food came out quite quickly! I got the Original Mazeman, and I would highly recommend it. They gave the right amount of sauce, so the dish was seasoned quite nicely. A plus was how generous the portions were. They're vegetarian friendly with a tofu mazeman, which my friends said was really yummy too! A great spot for a quick meal.

The mazesoba here is amazing, especially with the skinny noodles--so much flavor in every bite! I love that they offer a free scoop of rice after you finish the noodles, such a nice touch. The chicken was also delicious. The service is great as well. I love how there is both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of parking! Overall, a fantastic spot, and I'll definitely be coming back for more!
