Hidden gem in Rowland heights for some decent Xinjiang cuisine! They specialize is lamb and the lamb is so flavorful! Their eight treasure tea is also very calm and healthy. We ordered the house special hand pull noodle, lamb kebab, xiao long bao, traditional jar lamb soup, cucumber salad, and lamb leg polov. The lamv kebab, lamb leg polov and cucumber are our favorite. Inside has colorful decorations, good to bring family and friends. Service is quick and friendly! Support this small local restaurant!

The service was the worst I have ever received. Because of the service ii lost my appetite. I went here with my partner (who is asian), and I noticed from the beginning that all the attention went to him. As I ordered the female waitress only responded to him. We ordered appetizer, two proteins and beef fried rice. there was one other couple finishing their meal. The proteins came out out within 15 mins., five minutes later the appetizer came (spring rolls - cold inside, did not taste home made). Then a group of Chinese young men came in and all the attention went to them. They ordered and got their order with 5-10 mins. We were still waiting for our last order of rice. 10 mins later she came with the rice, with a stone look on her face. I completely lost my appetite and just stopped eating, the rice smelled burnt, and I did not feel comfortable. We were there on Thursday afternoon, as we were leaving there were two people sitting by the entrance who looked like they were in charge and said thank you for coming. I was so upset I just left, my partner did say thank you (out of politeness) So my recommendation is this: if you are asian, you will be treated great. If you are not, stay away from this place.

We ordered uber eats delivery from this halal restaurant, everything tasted so good to my surprise. We have tried spicy boiled fish, tomato egg drop soup, sautéed chicken in garlic sauce and spicy rice noodles. We liked all dishes especially the spicy fish. The only downside was the packaging which was not good at all. Two items spilled in the bag so it was a bit of mess. Maybe next time we will just go to the actual restaurant to try more dishes.

The food here is delicious and packed with flavor. Food was out within 10 minutes of ordering. We didn't have to wait long at all for the food to come out. We ordered the Hand Pulled Noodles, Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice, and String Beans with Beef. All the dishes tasted amazing.Knocking off 2 stars since it got rather uncomfortable in the restaurant. The windows did not have any shades and the sun was beating down on the restaurant and the glare from the sun kept interrupting our conversations. The temperature in the restaurant reached 83 degrees and the AC wasn't turned on. I would return and order take out but I wouldn't return as a dine in customer.

The food here is good and unique in a sense. Expect it to be spicy but obviously there are non spicy options.If you love lamb, you will enjoy eating here. I feel like to really enjoy this place you need to know how to order here. Which I don't feel like I did.So what do you need to get... ask a server who looks like they know. The server I had was super nice but she was ... too shy I guess.So I got the lamb noodles, the Bao, the cucumber salad and popcorn chicken.Okay for the two of us, that was a good amount of food... HOWEVER!!!!The popcorn chicken we could not finish. Firstly, it is spicy but a good spicy but it accumulates so beware.This is definitely a SHARING dish with AT LEAST 4 people (size small) otherwise it's TOOO MUCH! It can get overwhelming.Place is nice and clean and there is not up stairs.. don't know why I thought there was one.Give it shot and let me know! MUST GET- cucumber salad... such great value and delicious! You get a lot!

We got our food right away and the staff were super nice when guiding us through every specialty dish.

We visited Ma's Kitchen, a Halal Chinese restaurant specializing in Uyghur cuisine, on a busy Friday evening. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, featuring high ceilings and plenty of wooden elements that add warmth to the atmosphere. Seating is comfortable, and the service was friendly and fast, even during a busy rush.We started with the traditional jar lamb soup, which was a light, comforting broth filled with fresh vegetables and tender lamb. We also tried the spicy stir-fried rice noodles with chicken. The flavor was nice, and the noodles had an excellent texture, though the spice level was quite mild. The standout dishes were definitely the lamb kebabs, which had wonderful grill aromas and flavors, with the meat cooked to a perfect, tender softness. Another highlight was the stir-fried eggplant with chili pepper--rich, flavorful, and delicious.Overall, Ma's Kitchen is a fantastic spot for a romantic dinner or a family outing, and we look forward to trying more dishes next time.

Since it was our first time there, staff provided recommendations, and we went ahead with all of them. We also ordered a side of white rice (a small bowl), and they provided a pitcher of ice water. The lady who took our order mentioned that nearly everything on the menu can have the spice level adjusted.House Special hand-pulled noodles: 5/5. Super tasty with the savory sauce, lovely chew of the handmade noodles, and textures from the beef and veggies. Noodles were quite long and difficult to transfer to our individual plates.Lamb kabob (3pc): 4/5. A bit too spicy for me, but we liked the general flavor and meatiness. Served on metal skewers.Spicy Mongolian beef: 5/5. This was a generous amount of sliced beef cooked with bell peppers and onions. Savory and delicious. Surprisingly not spicy, but I think they adjusted the heat after hearing how hesitant I was to order spicy things.Samsa (2pc): 4/5. Can't remember if it was beef or lamb filling with chopped onions, but these were salty, spicy, and peppery. The dough was not too thick, which was nice.Lamb siumai (6pc): 2/5. A little disappointed with how bland these were. But I did appreciate that they had a bit of broth in them, kinda like soup dumplings, albeit very plain ones.Eclectic ethnic decor and vibes inside this Halal Chinese restaurant with attentive staff. I was jammin' to the dancey foreign music they were playing. We were seated quickly during lunchtime, even though the parking lot was packed. It looked like you can order takeout via a kiosk at the front as well.

My first time trying Xinjiang cuisine, so I had no other restaurant to compare it with, and I ended up drinking a lot of water after the meal. The food didn't taste salty, maybe there was a lot of msg? I'm not sure, but if you are allergic to msg, please remember to ask them before placing the order.We had 大盘鸡，羊肉串，酸奶， and another noodle dish which was recommended to us as the best seller that every table would have. 羊肉串was pretty good. The yogurt tasted like the ones you can get at a lot of places. The chicken noodles and the other noodle dishes tasted like some of the dishes from southern Chinese cuisine. However, I highly recommend trying their noodles, as there are different noodle sizes, and very chewy, which is nice!Each person is around $47 (before tips) for lunch, which is on the higher end even at today's price point...:)
