Mariscos Corona Del Mar

Looking for places to go out with family and drink, I stumbled upon this small restaurant. Although it is small, the atmosphere was one of the best. The staff were very welcoming and gave this energy that other places don't seem to have often. Menu wise, everything was reasonably priced and there were various alcoholic beverages to choose from. I personally grabbed myself one of my favorites, a carne asada burrito. First the size was perfect, not small and compact but rather large and stuffed. Usually other places seem to stuff their burritos with only beans and rice with little meat, but this place doesn't do that. They treat food like if it was going to be served to family.All in all, this place was a gem to find and I really recommend coming to this place with family.Spanish Review: Si estan buscando un lugar para ir con su familia y pasarsela bien, me encontre este restaurante pequeño. Aunque esta pequeño, el ambiente es uno de los mejores. El personal nos dio una bienvenida como ningun otro lugar. El menu tiene precios rasonables y ay mucha variedad de bebidas. Yo en lo personal, compre unos de mis favoritos, un burrito de carne asada. El tamaño estuvo perfecto, y lleno de carne. Normalmente en otros lugares dan los burritos con frijoles arroz y muy poca carne, pero este lugar no es igual que otros. Cuando sirven la comida es como si les estuvieran sirviendo a la familia. En conclusion, estoy contento que encontramos este lugar y les recomiendo que vengan con sus familias!

Went here today 1st impression wasnt good cus is a small run down restaurant. Didn't expect the good food presentation. Taste wise it was good the kind where u can add condiments to ur taste. Oysters were room temp. Which i didn't like. One thing i didnt like was the super loud music, waitress was attentive but a little uptight, kinda threw the check on our table

Never again.This place should not be considered a Restaurant, rather a Nightclub/Kareoke Bar with optional menu items. Maybe.The seafood here is not fresh in the least! We ordered oysters and they were absolutely disgusting. This place needs to be checked for serving a hazard like that. We didn't want to fuss so we ordered a seafood soup (7 mares) to share and even that was a terrible meal. Seafood was tough and the soup was bland.The seating arrangement is crowded and not very Covid-Regulated.I'm still gagging at the memory of how those oysters tasted. Only ate 3 of the dozen. Absolutely never coming back here again.This place really needs to be checked. And better cooks need to be hired.

Best place to come locally! Food, drinks, karaoke, CANT go wrong highly recommend. COME THROUGH

I was looking for a place that had good seafood, I should of checked here on yelp reviews first, the only thing good there? Is Las Micheladas, I ordered lobster a la parilla I was so excited because I been craving lobster, well 1. Lobster was so small it look.like a shrimp it was hard to chew and cold was not to happy, I also ordered fish tacos, tacos had no flavor at all, I also ordered camarones al mojo de ajo, shrimp were bernt no flavor same with the beans my food was cold, I spend to much money here and I wasn't happy, so please if its your first time going to a new restaurant, check yielp first don't do the same mistake I did.

Ammmmmaaaaazzzzzziiiinnng!!!!Do NOT be fooled by the outside, this place is authentic. Hand made tortillas followed by an amazing meal. Great service and great food. Top notch Micheladas. Don't be fooled by the hype. This place is it.

I ordered the tacos al Governador and they where so yummy! It had that homemade taste. It's basically like a crunchy shrimp taco with a hand made tortilla. You can tell the cook puts his heart into making these because they had a crunchy tortilla in the shape of a seahorse as decoration. I also ordered a michelada which was quite tasty! I'll definitely be coming back to get a few more of those tacosAs far as the atmosphere it's your typical mariscos restaurant where they play loud music but I believe most have loud music. Cool place to go have a nice beer or michelada

I was in desperate need of a michelada and I found this place and they sure make a pretty darn good michelada. I also ordered a caldo de camarón and it was very good too. Even the chips and salsa you get before hand are good.The service was good. Very helpful waitress.The restaurant is nice and clean and it has plenty of tables that are spread apart and not crowded at all.Glad I came across this restaurant when I was in need of a drink and some good food.

Been in OC all my life best Mariscos I've ever had. Gotta get some ceviche and camarones cucarachos!! Ask for the boy Ramon haha!! Super quick and easy too! Came for Taco Tuesdays they are bangin too

I have gone to this place many times,but today I was disappointed. I didn't like the food.I guess they changed the cooks or chefs.The food was flavorless,The rice was mushy and it looked old.The beans were dried and the cheese tasted funky like expired,I asked for camarones ala diabla,they only gave me like 6 shrimp.Even the michelada tasted horrible.Sorry but I wont be back.
