Marin Cafe

I came here on a Thursday and the place was near empty. It's a small hole in the wall but the food and service makes up for it. I was greeted immediately. The host was extremely kind and helpful.I ordered the French toast and Horchata latte. The toast was soft and moist and I love that they lightly sprinkled powdered sugar on top. Especially since I had syrup on the side. The strawberries were fresh and not too sweet.The latte was my favorite. I had to wait for it to cool down. I didn't want to burn myself. The horchata flavor was not overpowering. I liked that it was not overly sweet. I loved their playlist. Old school r & b, 80s. I would come back here again.

A cute coffee and pastry shop with great service, came by for a cup of coffee and ended up ordering their waffles and tuna sandwich. The lady at the counter recommended their horchata coffee and chocolate abuelita, I'll say their chocolate abuelita was fantastic. The horchata coffee needed a bit more flavor. The French toast were fluffy and tasty I would recommend trying them. Many folks were coming in to pick up care orders, so next time I come I'll give it a try. Parking is a. Bit challenging as it's shared with several other businesses.

Got a custom edible photo cake that was super reasonably priced. I ordered sort of last minute and they were so accommodating. Highly recommend for cute, affordable photo cakes!

The owners and the people who worked here could not have been nicer. They were super helpful when my order came out incorrect and they fixed it in a heartbeat. Their "House Ice Coffee" tastes exactly like Coffee Ice Cream. It's delicious. Solid breakfast burrito (get it with pico de gallo and avocado) and even better service! If you are in the area this is one of the best neighborhood small businesses. Oh and the decorations are mostly gifts from customers. That shows the love from the community and it is well deserved.

We ordered a slice of cake, a breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread. The breakfast was hot and fresh! I loved that, it was about $30 for everything. The burrito came with a salsa, it wasn't too spicy. The sandwich had honey mustard I believe but it was good. Both were very filling and the cake was so so good! It was definitely made with fresh blueberries. The woman who took our order was kind as well. There's 3 tables in there but the place is pretty small like a cafe.

Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side.I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good.Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy.All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!

Came in for a custom usa election bday cake , they nailed it, very creative, delicious as well!Would recommend 100%

Love this place! I'm here at least once a week, the coffee is delicious any flavor is a hit. All the employees are nice and welcoming. If you try any sandwiches I'd recommend the chicken chipotle panini. There's tables inside to sit and they are always playing nice music. Best coffee shop in Pico Rivera

First time coming here because I was looking for a hearty, quick breakfast & it had good reviews. Plus close to home. Haven't had French toast in a whileee & so glad I got it here! Ordered to go & it stilled out yummy! Def coming back to try the other pasties etc :)
