Maria's Mexican Food

My favorite taco place. Come at dinner time so they got the griddle to cook all the meat and veggies (and roasted tortillas!) and the spicket roasting their Al pastor. My favorite is their Al Pastor tacos and oh man. They make it better than all the other places. Watch out for their hot sauces tho. One of them is EXTREMELY hot but it's very good.

The Pambazo is delicious! I love coming here. Horchata is good, Chile rellenos are good, the tacos and Pupusas are yummy too.

Okay this place is the place to go too on lunch! I really enjoyed the pupusa and drinks they have to offer. The beans and chips WERE GIVING ME LIFE! I ordered the two chorizo and one cheese and they were everything. The cheese super melted, the meat cooked to perfection! Everything was super good, I have no complaints! I was just a bit bummed at the service, we had to ask multiple times for water, chips, napkins etc etc. The place was not too packed around 12pm, there were 3 other families, so not too crowded... I just wish the service was just a little bit more friendlier... Again, food was amazing, we will be back.. But maybe check in on the tables every so often.

Food: We got 4 items and 2 were good, 2 were not. I'll start with the good. The carne asada torta was VERY good, thick slice of cheese and jalapeños! My daughter does not usually like spicy, but she said the torta was delicious and my wife said the same. The mini tacos are hard to mess up - tortillas, carne, onions and cilantro... if a place cannot get that right then they should not be in the restaurant industry. Now for the bad. So my rolled tacos were okay, the potato ones tasted like pierogis but one of my tacos had no filling (check out the picture). It was just a deep fried taco with no stuff. ??? And the nachos had good flavor, but my daughter said it was too much toppings and not enough chips. Plus, no color... like tomatoes, avocados, onions... it's literally chips, meat, cheese and sour cream. They were okay but not great.Atmosphere: There is a bar and it looks like a bakery inside...? So they have expanded to these two different shops but it looks like they didn't really "adjust" for the expansion because all three shop spaces look thrown together. I would caution that the bakery area needs a bit of a scrub down, it looks a little dirty at the front of the store, which is where the customers come in. It definitely needs some TLC...Price: It's a relatively inexpensive place and they were open late which is good. You can get a meal for 12$ (but don't get the rolled tacos because they might be empty!). Service: They took a while to make the food... I guess that means it was fresh...? Still, we waited about 30 minutes for what we ordered. It wasn't a HUGE wait but longer than typical. Also, maybe it was because it was like 10pm when we came in, but the server lady wasn't very nice... just kinda gruff, possibly having a bad day, more of a "Whadda want" attitude rather than "How can I help you?" So, wasn't great on the service...Overall: Price is good and it seems to be hit or miss on the food. Service is meh and the place needs a bit of a cleaning, in my opinion. It just looks cluttered and messy inside which doesn't really make it appealing for me.

Never coming to this restaurant again. Food had no flavor and tested old plus it was super expensive not worth it. Please save your time and money don't come here

So good!We wanted something authentic.Nothing chain.Nothing obviously commercial.And we got exactly that!Good sized portionsReally friendly service.Our waitress was so friendly and helpful Next time we're in town we'll def be stopping by again!

Pricey food but you get what you pay for.They have delicious al pastor which a lot of Mexican places cant do right. I am as delighted at how good the al pastor tacos were. Their asada tacos were ok. The tongue tacos were very bland and boring. Salsas were very watery and had no flavor. I'd probably come back to try other items on their menu and the bar they have but this is entirely in my experience and food ordered today.

This little hole in the wall looks super janky and dirty but they have some bomb ass tacos! It's $1.25 per taco and the food is greasy, oily, but super flavorful and incredibly delish! Best tacos I've had in the area! I also like that they give you grilled onions. The al pastor here is the shiiz! Although, it is super oily... Eat your tacos quick because the tortillas get soggy! I don't think I'd be able to take these to go because the tortillas would end up soggy and breaking once I get home. I liked all the tacos I've tried here; carne asada tacos were pretty good, carnitas was super soft, fatty and delicious, and the chorizo was very flavorful!I've only had the tacos here, but they're so flavorful and amazeballz! If you can get over the fact that it's not the cleanest here, it's totally worth to try out their tacos!

The food taste old I ordered a plate with red and green pork ribs DISGUSTING No entiendo como tienen la conciencia de venderle a los clientes esa porquería y encima cobrarle tan caro Si la comida es buena no importa pues se está pagando por CALIDAD No merece ni 1 estrellas

The best enchiladas I've had in a long time ! Burritos are excellent as well.Favorite spot after a long weekend
