Five stars for the Taho!...I still yet to try their food.Staffs are always so welcoming, I love their homely interior decors, really makes you feel like you are back home in the mainland.I def recommend the Taho! By far they are my Taho go to spot!

I mainly visit Maria's Kusina for one thing: Taho, and it's incredible! It tastes just like the taho you'd get in the Philippines, which is hard to find. Definitely worth coming back for.I also tried the Siopao (not pictured) and regretted only ordering one. It was delicious and left me wanting more. As for the Lechon Kawali, it was just okay. The flavor wasn't as bold as I hoped, but the serving size is pretty generous for the price, so it's not a bad deal.Overall, I'll definitely be back--if only for the taho!

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. Even though it was a middle of summer, I was in the mood for some good Filipino soup. Maria's had some chicken mami that was really really tasty. Portion and price were really good. Because I was in the mood for noodles, I devoured all that were in my large bowl. But I was able to order a extra portion of noodles only to go with the soup I still had leftover. Made for a nice hard lunch the next day. They didn't have pork siopao ready but they said they could steam one up if I didn't mind waiting five minutes. That seemed totally reasonable and I'm glad I got it. Restaurant itself is cute and has some nice Filipino decor. The staff is super friendly.

WORST FILIPINO FOOD I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! ***BEWARE!!!***I tried Maria's Kusina Panciteria de Manila for the first time because I was craving Filipino food. Even though it had a 3.9-star rating, I wish I had read the reviews more carefully.I ordered takeout and eagerly brought it home, but I was very disappointed. The pancit Malabon tasted like noodles in colored water without any seasoning. The lechon kawali kare kare was watery with very very little peanut butter and veggies. The tokwat baboy with garlic fried rice was even worse. The rice was overcooked, and the tokwat baboy was just fried tofu with poorly cooked boiled pork. I tried to make all the food better with fish sauce, salt, and pepper, but it didn't help. I ended up throwing the food away because I couldn't eat it.I usually support local Filipino businesses, but Maria's Kusina Panciteria de Manila let me down. I recommend reading reviews carefully before trying this place. Don't waste your money like I did. This was a $52 mistake that I won't forget. I won't be going back to Maria's Kusina Panciteria de Manila again.

I have visited Maria's Kusina a multitude of times, and every time I have visited it's been great! I typically order their lumpia in bulk to bring to family and work events, and they're always such a great hit with everyone. Their lumpia are always fresh and taste great reheated, so no complaints there! I also recently branched out and ordered their pancit palabok, which was really good! I just wish they added a bit more sauce to their noodles.I also recently bought their Buko Pandan ice cream while I had gotten my wisdom tooth out and it definitely helped sooth any pain I had (plus it was a sweet treat). I will be definitely coming back to try the rest of their food. Thanks always!

Disappointed because I had a craving for Kare Kare but they said they were out of it. I feel like the last two times I've been here, they've been out of it. So I got the lechon kawali which was crispy in some parts but unfortunately chewy in others. Only had a few pieces. Was excited to try the mais con yelo, I even called my sister to tell her I was about to finally have one of our favorite childhood desserts. And then... ugh. They used cream style corn and not only that, it was so mushy, like corn soup. I wanted to like it but I ended up throwing that away too.

This is not your usual Pinoy restaurant in the US wherein they have the pre-cooked food standing out under a warmer and you pick 2 dishes with rice and pancit for take out. This is a sit down restaurant where they cook the food fresh. If you want to impress any Filipino or the parents of your Filipino friends, bring them here. The food is legit and servings are big. Staff are attentive, respectful, and friendly. One is even Kapampangan from the culinary capital of the Philippines, so she knows food. Air-conditioning is cold, place is clean, and they got school memorabilia on the walls that will bring you back lots of memories! They have special items you can't find anywhere by special request for catering parties/potlucks that are not on the menu like Beef pot roast, Special Baked Fish, Pork Asado, Beef Steak, etc. Ask your server about it but please give them at least 1 week or more advanced notice.

"I recently returned after a long time and found the place clean with ample seating. There were no other customers when I arrived. I decided to order my favorite dishes to go. The chicken tasted good but was a bit dry, while the java rice was delicious. Unfortunately, the spaghetti was a letdown due to the lack of sauce. As for the siopao, they were average. Overall, it was a mixed experience."

Best Taho I have had so far in Southern California! They are made to order and so the tofu is very fresh and all of the ingredients in it are perfectly cooked. The other food was all right. Not really a fan. We ordered a few items and it was missing in-depth flavor and seasoning. But the Taho, no doubt it really is delicious here and my go-to item. Thank you Maria's Kusina for having the best Taho I have had so far in Southern California!
