Malibu Farm at Lido is a cute spot. The atmosphere is definitely the main attraction--it's super chill with boats all around, which makes for a really nice vibe. The food, though, is pretty mid. I got the lobster mac and cheese, and even though it looked amazing in pictures, I wouldn't recommend it. It was too liquidy and lacked flavor in my opinion. My friend is vegetarian and got the nachos which were pretty good, but it's nachos.. unsure how you could mess that one up.On the bright side, their matcha was really good, and I loved that there were a lot of fun customization options. Overall, it's a great place for the ambiance, but I wouldn't go just for the food.

Ya'll Need To Do Better!I had a disappointing experience at Malibu Farm Lido. First off, there's no reservation system for brunch, which is a hassle. We put our name down behind another couple, who were seated in just 10 minutes. Great, we thought--we're next! But nope! After several groups were seated before us, I had to get back in line. The host seemed bewildered when I reminded him it had been almost 40 minutes, and we were still waiting. It was frustrating to see multiple parties of two seated before us when we were clearly next on the list. But hey, sometimes we just have to understand order of operation is not everyone's strongest. By the time we finally got a table, we were pressed for time. Thankfully, our waiter was kind and got our order in quickly, but we felt rushed and couldn't truly enjoy our meals. The host staff really needs better training or a complete reboot. If you're next in line as a party of two, you shouldn't be overlooked for other parties....OF TWO! This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't recommend this place. But I may get the urge to see if I get a consistent feeling of inequity in a revisit which was a strong sense I felt from walking in.

It was my first time here and we came on Friday evening. And luckily we had a reservation because it was pretty busy. I had a group of about five friends and our server was great at recommending food options. The menu was smaller than I thought it would be. However, all of the ingredients are From locally sourced farms. It was my first time here and I was looking for something a little more healthy. I ordered the seared salmon salad and it was delicious. It is a bit pricey coming in at $32 for a salmon salad. It was good but definitely a splurge. I wouldn't come here again unless it was for a special occasion because as it was nice food and ambiance wise, it is just way too expensive for a salad that was nothing too out of this world. Could be a cute first date spot as it has moody lighting or brunch as it has Newport bay views.

Malibu Farm was wonderful! We went on a beautiful sunny day at around 12pm and there was about a 20 min wait. They had heaters by the tables so that was nice to have! We all got the fried egg sandwich and I got a strawberry agave lemonade. All extremely delicious and our server was super nice and gave great recommendations! The food also came out super quick! I will definitely be returning to Malibu farm next time I visit! :)

Really nice atmosphere, the server was very kind. Both the savory and sweet items were delicious. The sage latte was delicate and lightly sweetened which was fantastic. Beautiful view!

Great food. Relaxing view. Superb service. Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Balboa Pennisula serves one of the best brunches in this area. We ordered mushroom wrap, Burrard salad and nachos! The nachos were fire! It hit the spot! Both the salad and wrap were delicious as well. We will be coming back next time.

The girls and I love it here! Such a yummy brunch and a perfect day. Huge thanks to Leland--he's the sweetest, and his recommendations were spot on. Can't wait to come back!

Delicious brunch, amazing waterfront view and exceptional service from Leland! He made our brunch experience so much better- fun and personable! The Swedish pancakes were perfect, the breakfast sandwich was cooked to perfection and the breakfast burrito was bomb! Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food and a beautiful view here in Lido. Brian, our server did an excellent job. He was so kind, helpful and attentive. Truly one of the very best!
