Went to Radiant Brewery in Anaheim, got to try the Mad Dumplings food truck. The Longaniza dumplings were perfect, juicy and sweet. The vintage dumplings lived up to its name but with a modern twist. Would definitely get these dumplings again. Their service was A +.

I tried out Mad Dumplings at a pop-up event amongst other food trucks, and ordered two combos. I opted for the regular "vintage" dumplings and fried chicken dumplings, along with the pork belly and bulgogi rice bowls. Definitely go for the combos, as they give a better bang for buck. The rice bowls were a decent choice, with the standout being the creamy (mayonnaise based?) sauce on top. The first dumplings I tried were the vintage dumplings, which were so-so but nothing to write home about. But the last (and the best by a long shot) were the fried chicken dumplings!! They came out super hot and crispy, with a creamy dipping sauce and wildly exceeded my expectations - At this point, I wish I had just ordered fried chicken dumplings 4x lol. There was a long queue for food, so service was just okay, as the gentlemen taking orders seemed a bit overwhelmed (understandable) and the food truck was parked in a parking lot so not sure how to comment on ambiance, but overall would come back for fried chicken dumplings (obviously lol)

Had the truck at Downtown Disney. Would give it like a 3.75 -- super inventive so points for that but kind of mixed execution. Still yummy!!Fried chicken dumpling was SO GOOD!!!!! It was cheesy, chicken-y, and dough-y thanks to the dumpling wrapper.Longanisa was ??, it had a too-chewy wrapper and I didn't taste the jalapeños? but it was red inside, bonus pointsOverall not bad but other great Asian options exist in the area! But also for the price....great

I had the longanisa dumplings and it didn't have the toppings (shishito peppers) as advertised. I'm not sure If they changed the recipe of the longanisa because the filling was more of a tannish color and not the bright red like it should be. It also tasted more blandThe rice was very oily and had very little meat. $10 for the rice and $10 for 6 dumplings. It was overpriced and the quality did not make up for it.I also got the pork belly rice and it was flavorless, it just tasted like it was boiled in tap water. The service was alright though.

the food truck was there. Not sure if it's because it was a food truck or what but the food wasn't good at all. The turkey dumplings was gummy and bland. The " soy sauce " he gave me for dipping just taste like oil. The meat inside had no Flavor at all. One side was very crispy but the other side was gummy and not dumpling gummy like under cooked gummy. The bulgogi bowl wasn't much better. They put a spicy mayo on top which completely ruined the bowl. It doesn't taste good with the mayo on it. The meat itself was over cooked and under seasoned. Some parts of the meat was so over cooked it was crispy. The rice was probably the best tasting thing. It had a nice little flavor to it, but the rest was a big no no. Sorry not sorry I don't think I would be returning to this place. Updated: they tried to remove this remove. Listen the dumplings are not good at all.

In January, we enjoyed the vintage dumplings and the pork belly rice bowl from the truck. Now, the bowl from the truck tastes like the bowl from the restaurant, in a more Chinese style.

I've actually had this food truck a while back at a nearby food truck meet. I was curious about the longanisa dumplings that were supposedly Andrew zimmermans favorite. And I remember being wowed by the unique tastiness. Fast forward a few years and I got to try it again at a work event. Longanisa dumplings were as good as I remember. It was missing the pork belly slices that usually comes with it but maybe it's because it was a work event thing. I got to try something new: the fried chicken dumplings. I didn't know what to expect, but it's literally fried like chicken lol. Comes with lime and a creamy aioli like dipping sauce. It tastes like Costco chicken bake and I mean that in a good way! It is heavy though so it's very filling. The combo came with a choice of rice bowl and I chose the bulgogi one. It was good but nothing special. I think it makes a great lunch. Can't go wrong with dumplings!

Had 5 different items and they all were bad. The dipping sauces were bland, as were all the items. The vintage dumplings had no seasoning, neither did the Fried Mac and cheese, the tater tots tasted like oil, and the bulgogi rice meat was overcooked and the sauce tasted like fish. I didn't have one good thing, which is a shame. Even the service was bad because it was one guy running everything and he was clearly in the weeds. Would never recommend this.

This place is insanely good. The longanisa and chicken and cheese are my favorite. The white sauce you can get is literal crack and should not be missed. Easily the best dumplings in LA. Hidden gem.
