Long wait for to go, but the food is amazing. The server owner or whatever is very attentive and before I even looked at the menu she is asking to dine in or to go. Very hidden in a way, but open parkingGave me wrong order and long wait. Maybe try again and redo the review, but as it stands...not the best

They've raised their prices, but that's not the only reason for the downgrade--though it might have played a role in a trickle-down effect. Normally, this place is packed, and we have to wait for a table. The last time I came (before the price increase), we waited about 40 minutes. This time, the restaurant was nearly empty, which seems like more than just a coincidence.Right away, I could tell the ingredients weren't fresh. Instead of using green onions and cilantro where the recipe called for fragrant greens, they substituted shredded iceberg lettuce--like something from McDonald's. It was limp, discolored, and completely changed the dish's profile. We ordered our usual dishes times three to show off this place to our friends, and it was a total flop. I was so disappointed. For example, the steamed buns looked like someone had dropped them. They used to be carefully arranged, but this time they were stacked haphazardly on a greasy plate. What happened?! The only decent dish was the jajang noodles. They increased their prices by about $1.50 per dish, but the quality took a serious hit. I won't be coming back.

A good local dumpling spot! It's a small restaurant with one person taking orders and bringing the food out, but the service was good and the food came out fairly quick. I came on New Year's Day and luckily didn't have to wait long for a table. Tried the following items:- Shrimp/pork and leek dumplings 12 pieces for $8.72- Beef Noodle Soup $9.64- Shrimp fried rice $8.89- Juicy pork dumplings 8 pieces for $7.80This is probably the best pricing you can find in the area. The steamed shrimp and leek dumplings were so good! I think you can get them pan fried so I'll definitely try that next time. The shrimp fried rice was also very tasty. Personally, I wouldn't order the juicy pork dumplings again because the filling was different and too sweet. The beef noodle soup comes with thick noodles - but I wasn't crazy about the flavor. However, I will definitely come back to try the other dumplings and items on the menu. Overall, great spot to check out!

I love this place! The woman who runs is or so sweet and works so hard. All of the dishes are delicious. The only thing I haven't cared for is the beef roll but everything else is great! I love the spicy wontons and they are the first place to rival the ones from A&J in Irvine. My son loves the potstickers so we get two orders. We also get the pork and leek dumplings. It's small but they usually have seats if you get there by 6pm. They serve cold and clean water (not tap) which is a plus.

A friend of mine recommended Lulu Dumplings to me. We went on Friday night and waited about 5 minutes to get seated. The restaurant is not very big and was crowded. We ordered some dumplings, which were very good both in taste and price. I loved their fish dumplings ($8.72 for 12 pcs), which were tender and tasty. The pork with leek dumplings ($7.80 for 12 pcs) were good. The pan-fried pork dumplings ($7.80 for 10 pcs) were great! The juicy pork steamed dumplings ($7.80 for 8 pcs) were good. The cucumber salad ($3.67) was refreshing. The traditional-style hot & sour soup ($8.72) was also good. They also offer options like 12 pcs, 18 pcs, and 30 pcs of dumplings at different prices. I believe their prices are the cheapest I've found so far for dumplings in the Rowland Heights area. It's a great spot for both lunch and dinner. We enjoyed the food at Lulu Dumplings and will definitely visit again.

3.5 really but came for lunch and it's a small shop with 10 tables max. Got the last table and ordered a few things from the nice lady who was running the shop. Orders the cabbage and pork dumplings, mixed beef noodles, fried noodles, and the egg pancake. I'd say go for the dumplings. It's what I believe they are known for and the best thing there. Plump and juicy! Skin was a bit thick but I love the carbs. The noods were also bouncy and thick. Feels and tastes very hand made. I wasn't a fan of the flavors of the sauces for the noodles. Fried noodles was a tomato egg concoction and mixed noodles was like a soy base. Meh. Egg pancake was also meh. The pancake portion needed to be sturdier to hold up to the egg.Would come back for the dumps and try all the other fillings and the potstickers. All else I'd skip.

Luyu Dumplings is a local, mom and pop shop in the City of Industry. And it truly, blew me away. This is one of the single best restaurants I had in 2024, and the one that surprised me the most. The restaurant is always bustling and extremely busy, as there is only one employee managing the front. Despite this, she always works extremely hard to make sure that everyone is being seated and served as quickly as possible. But the food is what truly wowed me. The Beef Roll seemed simple, but had a really unique peanut sauce rather than the traditional sweet sauce that most beef rolls come with. I felt like this made the dish more balanced and complex. The Soup Dumplings and Pan Fried Buns were both really solid, but the star of the meal was definitely the noodles. The Chili Noodles were so flavorful, and the texture of the noodles was the best I have ever had here in the US. Not only that, but the prices of every dish were spectacular, as every dish was under 10 dollars, something unheard of in 2025! TLDR: this truly phenomenal restaurant deserves all of the love it gets, and I highly recommend, and urge, everyone to try it.

Luyu Dumplings is a true mom-and-pop shop owned by some of the loveliest people. In the midst of the Eaton and Palisades fire, we reached out to them wanting to give first responders some food since I believe that dumplings are such comfort food and are perfect in that they cover protein, veggies, and a carb--not to mention that Luyu has literally the most delicious dumplings in the city! The owner decided to chip in and whipped up 50 boxes of dumplings an hour past their closing and also provided free boxes of sodas as well. We'll definitely come back more often in the future just in gratitude for how kind-hearted they are.I also highly recommend their noodles since it has the perfect chewy texture and it's made in-house!
