Last time there review missed the mark. This time it was great food and a great waiter. What a difference. Cerritos you rock.Keano was an excellent waiter. The food this time was excellent. It was Valentine's Day and the service was quick and hot. They are not cheap. But it was quality food cooked just right. I just wish they had a better selection of diet sodas. But they did not complain when I brought my own. The biscuits last time were dry and chewy. This time they were great. And the apple butter is so much better than the honey butter at the other place. I wish they would sell their butter. I would be the first customer. That butter on biscuits and gravy would be sooooo good. They are the first restaurant to go from two stars to 5 stars from me.

I was disappointed in the food. But first are servicer was good. But, the kitchen was slow getting out the food.The 1st thing we noticed was the biscuits were dry and hard, every batch we had. I don't know if they changed there recipe or just had a bad batch. A reason to visit Lucille's was the biscuits with the apple butter.I had brisket. It was very very dry. Very little fat on it and none running through it. Everyone else was happy with there meal.The snicker pie was delicious. I will visit again or at least visit another location to see if the biscuits were just a one off.

The service is great and very attentive. I used to visit the restaurant twice a month as it is near a mall The food is great when it's hot and consistent. Unfortunately, the last two times I visited this restaurant the large family platter was not ok. The meats were cold, and tasted as if were the last in the pan. We asked for corn as a side and they stated it was out of season. I asked for watermelon iced tea and the server stated that the watermelon was also out of season. We live in California so im not sure this is correct especially when i visited another Lucille's two days prior that had no concerns of not having these products. And... the portions were not enough for 4 people. I order the large family platter hustirtically because it has never let me and family down. Although the servers tried to rectify, it was not the same. We may visit again but I think I will check out the restaurants nearby once I visit the mall again.

Today they had Happy Hour all day. I had a pulled pork sandwich. Fries were only $2. We also got biscuits with a refill. Everything was so good. The meal was very filling, Isaac is an excellent waiter and anticipated our needs.

Late Happy Hour! Arrived at 9pm with a group of 15 and were offered open seating at the bar area. Our server was on point and provided great service. Drinks and food specials were great. We had the opportunity to see the robot server bringing out the food. Very cool experience.

We actually had a good experience, but I was raised on family bbq and Woodys bbq in LA, so my bbq expectations are high. Ambiance and music is great and fitting for a bbq spot. Service was lovely. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Both hosts and our waitress were really kind and sweet. We ordered the shareable for two. It is a great deal! Appetizer, three meats, two sides, and a dessert for $60. We had a $40 gift card so we paid $36 with tip. Also we got the tri tip so that was an additional $2. We ordered brisket, tri tip, and Texas sausage; Mac and cheese; potato salad and banana pudding for dessert. My favorite meat was the brisket. Nice, fatty and juicy. Tri tip is lean so that was dry. Lucille's has three bbq sauces. The best was the Memphis. But honestly, I didn't really care for any of them. The brisket was great by itself. Mac was a big NO. Very picky about my Mac. The cheese is the velveeta runny cheese. Not a fan. Potato salad was good! Banana pudding was tasty for a dessert, but I expect real banana in it. I guess it's blended into the pudding?Oh! For the appetizer, we got 2 Cesar salads, which was good. They sprinkle croutons on top of the salad. That's new to me. I'm not a huge fan of Lucile's, but overall it was a good experience.

Good location for lunch!Parking is much easier than the Rosemead location. I've had so much trouble at the Rosemead location parking lot.The service was decent (average) and nothing notable. I like coming to a true BBQ and smokehouse setting. I just wish there was a little bit more smoky flavor in the air. They show a good representation of what looks like an outdoor BBQ stand. We ordered a brisket chopped salad and a two item plate with brisket and pull chicken with a side of Cole slaw. The complimentary biscuits were brought to us just after we ordered. Mmm, love them biscuits with butter smothered on top. When we both got out entrees, the briskets had a lot of fat... Too much fat with at least 50% fat content. When we told and showed our server, she comp'd a side order of brisket. That was very nice of her. The pulled chicken was very good and drenched in BBQ sauce which made it lose the smoky flavor.I will be back when I crave smoked/BBQ brisket again.I will be
