This place is amazing! Not sure where what some people are thinking by saying the food was terrible and finding a toothpick in your food?? Did you request a refund? Looks like you ate the rest of your food as well. lolYou can't get any more authentic then this! Food is always fresh and the service is amazing! Definitely an awesome place.

This place is such a hidden gem in Garden Grove for anyone craving Mexican food! The service was fantastic--especially from the main guy who was super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. He knew my friend and I were first-timers and vegetarians, and he made sure to recommend the right dishes for us. Just hearing him talk about the food made me drool and it lived up to the hype! I had the potato tacos a la carte, and they were delicious with all the toppings. The watermelon agua fresca was super fresh and the perfect drink to cool off.Oh, and the free nachos with homemade guac, pinto beans, and chips while we waited for our meals were incredible--such a nice touch!Definitely check this spot out, especially for Taco Tuesday nights!

Meh, food was mediocre and I almost choked on a toothpick concealed in my food so no thank you very much. cheese enchiladas were terrible. supreme nachos were pretty decent. chimmichanga was tasty but dangerous. zero for service and zero for ambiance.So many other places with better pricing, and same or better food. Probably wont be back.

My wife was craving a good California burrito and this spot delivered. I came around 5pm on a Saturday and the place was pretty busy. But my order came out super fast, no more than a five minute wait. I got my order to go, and when I went to pick it up, the staff up front was very friendly and made me feel like I was being welcomed into their home for dinner. The actual burrito was huge, great portion size and a nice carne asada filling. Definitely would like to come back and try some other options from their expansive menu.

Authentic authentic authentic!!! Los Sanchez is the best in SoCal for authentic Mexican food hands down- been coming here for years and it hasn't changed!!! Just walking up to the restaurant the smell takes me back to the wonderful smell of my Tia's home cooking! The menudo is delish and the portions are huge!! The beef soup amazing and breakfast great with huge portions. If you like Lengua( beef tongue) nothing compares to Los Sanchez! It is fall apart tender and comes with a choice of red or green sauce, I get half and half. It is enough to feed 2 easily! This is a big place. Stand in line to order. Huge picture menu. If you've never been check out the menu in advance - they have a ton of options. If Yelp had an extra star this place would get it.

The quality has definitely diminished over the years since Covid. I've been a loyal customer when Los Sanchez was still located off harbor but as of lately the food quality has made me question my loyalty. The prices has gone up tremendously which I understand due to inflation, the quality doesn't remain the same. The burritos used to be plump and filled with tasty charbroiled meat, but the last time I ordered it was soggy and small. I wouldn't mind paying the high prices if Los Sanchez made burritos like they used to. Service and ambiance has remained the same but that's not the reason I come to Los Sanchez.

Finally reviewing Los Sanchez after years of coming here! This place is a great spot for lunch & dinner with the family. I came around 4:15pm on a Sunday and it was pretty busy for both the table spaces and the register. Thankfully the register line goes by pretty quick. I got 3 items for take out: a pollo burrito, shrimp cocktail, and an asada torta. All items were great and the same quality you would get from eating at the restaurant! The restaurant itself is very well kept and they also have a rack of boxes people can take for carry out which is really helpful. Parking is sometimes a bit difficult to find because the lot is somewhat small.

Love this place. The variety of the menu is insane and it's all of good quality where it's hard to go wrong if you know what you want. Great place that's kind of in-between fast-casual and sit-down Mexican restaurants.OC has a lot of really amazing Mexican restaurants, but this place goes above and beyond when it comes to service.Several years ago I went here for the last birthday I got to celebrate with my dad before he passed. The owner was so nice; they sang me a birthday song and even gave me a free t-shirt. He's always consistently friendly when I see him too; he definitely seems like someone who takes passion in what he does.Nowadays I don't really dine-in, but I still love their wet carne asada burrito and usually call it in to-go. The salsa bar is great too; the labels of the spice levels are accurate.

After a long flight and settling into my hotel, I craved a quick yet satisfying meal. A Google search led me to Los Sanchez Restaurant, a local spot with an impressive array of options. The Carne Asada plate caught my eye, and it did not disappoint. While I initially hoped for crispy tacos, the hardshell tacos served were a delightful surprise, packed with flavor and a satisfying crunch.The food lived up to the hype, and it's clear why Los Sanchez has garnered an abundance of reviews and high ratings.

Good affordable Mexican spot. Service always nice and friendly. Food always top notch delicious. Also a good hangout place with friends or family. They also serve alcohol so that's a plus.
