Los Primos Cantina

I have been eating at Los Primos since it opened back in the early 1990's. Nothing has changed other than inflation. With that being said, you still get one of the biggest, most flavorful and authentic Mexican fast service meals around. Los Primos has quickly found a special place in my kid's hearts as well. Their go to's are usually the beans, rice and cheese burrito or the Burrito Especial. Both are huge and can provide two meals when you cut the burrito in 1/2. I usually go with the Moot Special or the California burrito. Adding some French fries to these add an additional punch. The salsa bar has many options from mild to extraordinarily hot. Other fun touches in the salsa bar are cucumbers, limes, carrots/onions, and raw/cooked jalapeños. These guys know how to move a line and make your food extremely fast with much wait. This is a go to spot when you want quick service, tasty food and large return on investment in relationship to portion size.

It's been a while since I have come here, but while in the area, we stopped in (on a Monday) for a quick taco while running errands. The gal taking the orders must not like her job, she was very short and rude. I observed her taking the order of a teenage kid, and couldn't believe the way she was speaking to the poor guy. Food was good, and plentiful.. you can make 2 tacos out of 1 portion.Beans were delicious!

Honestly, this place is so good. The tamales, the burritos, the tacos I'm drooling thinking about it

I've always had the best experience at Los Primos! The quality of food is amazing. I usually get carnitas tacos and they are always so delicious. The amount of meat you get in your food is very generous as well. I love the self service salsa area. Sometimes they even have caramelized onions and peppers which are beyond delicious. The workers are always so kind and attentive! I'm never waiting longer than 5 minutes for my food even when it's busy. I usually take my order to go but there are usually a few tables inside and some more outside in the shopping center area.

During a rainy day, my craving for Mexican cuisine led me to this place. Herrera warmly welcomed me and guided me through their menu, recommending some of their best-loved dishes. My order comprised a tantalizing array: succulent Chicken Tacos, a hearty Steak Quesadilla, and a flavorful Shrimp Burrito.An added delight was their mini bar, offering an assortment of salsas, pickles, limes, and Pico De Gallo in charming small containers.Portions were satisfyingly generous, and each dish boasted delicious flavors. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food offered

Very rude service... An angry woman, told me they had no restroom or anywhere I could even wash my hands. Food is OK, but frankly, if someone can't be friendly, I'll just go somewhere else.

Pulled in the small parking lot and luckily found a spot.Carne Asada no bueno. Alejandros on 19th st. mo betta.

If heaven is a place on earth it's at Los Primos! everything i've ever tried from them is amazing and i have been eating here since 2019. the staff is so friendly and remembers my favorite order, as i've seen them do with many other regulars. they also have vegetarian options and are great about modifications to make things vegetarian. i really can't recommend them enough

Tried the carnitas burrito, tostada and tamales. Oh and we also got chips and salsa.The food is what I would consider very average.The people who work there are very nice.

Went to place an order for a coworker and the women taking my order was really rude, she's definitely at the wrong job, customer service isn't here thing! Also not a great communicator with her teammates. Over heard her being rude to a guy working there as well !
