This place is a 5-10 min drive from our house and will definitely be back! Or order out. My kiddos are PICKY af! Was surprised to hear they gave the food 10/10 I'm content with this place they ensure we were good checked on us many times to make sure we were okay. Still on of the best spot in the neighborhood after living here ~10 years. If you like Mexican-style food but are looking for something a little different, there is much to appreciate here. Their menu includes staples like burritos and tortas but here you can also find huaraches, gorditas, pambazos, sopes and other examples of Mexico City's regional flavors. They also have more options for non-meat-eaters, with traditional options like squash blossoms, huitlacoche (try it trust me), nopales, and no-meat sopes, quesadillas, etc. They seem to use high quality ingredients, all the masa-based items are incredible and I believe home-made, or at least they taste like it (haven't confirmed but I think so.)The also have a particular kind of cured ham called 'cecina,' very thin sliced such that it reminds me of jamon de iberico or prosciuttio. Never seen this anywhere else, so it's something to try. Even I like it, and I'm not usually a fan of meat. Order it on a huarache... it is a wonderful thing. The interior itself it small, with limited seating (a few booths), and its a pretty small crew so I usually just order by phone and pick it up later so there's no wait. You can find photos of pretty much whole menu here on yelp, very convenient because I don't think they have take-home menus available. Everywhere has gone up in price but here is still quite reasonable, relatively speaking.

For us Mexicans who want good tasting Mexican food come here! They specialize in making Mexico City favorite dishes like Barbacoa con consume, huaraches, huge sopes, tacos con tortillas home made, Pozole, Menudo, tacos de Suadero which is carne asada cooked a little different. Pambazos which is similar to a torta and a ton of many favorites including a large selection of menu items. Give this place a try! It's a great hole in a wall!

The person working at the front was attentive and kind !! I ordered a panbinbo and the food was great, I think it could've used some more fillings but was good for the price. The tables were well kept and the place was overall clean.

Me, my sister and husband grabbed some breakfast burritos to-go on our way out of town. They were soooooooo good! My brother in law, who's from Mexico City and kind of a snob when it comes to Mexican food, came here and liked it too, so you know it's good! Service was speedy. Place is nice n clean and chill.

Small family owned. Great service. humongous torta de milanesa , the consomé de barbacoa very good, I tried last time chilaquiles con huevos also good. Lunch is busier but still a great experience. Although they're located behind Subway they have plenty of parking.

Based off of an article I saw online saying this place made "delicious gigantic crispy fresh quesadillas" for a good value, I sought it out. Ordered the quesadilla with squash as described in the article. My friend ordered a vegetarian huarache. Waited at least 30mins for food. Chips were given with 3 really spicy and distinct flavored salsas which we enjoyed. The service was pleasant. We ordered a fresh juice and it tasted good but given the consistency, i was not sure it was actually made using fresh fruit but instead a little water-downed juice put in a blender. Quesadilla came and it was with a handmade tortilla but it didnt really taste like anything. It was not crispy at all and sadly the filling of the quesadilla was sparse. I mean it didnt have enough cheese to even look close to a quesadilla. They did add squash, avocado, and lettuce and with the orange salsa was alright to eat. The huarache had beans, nopales (cactus), and lettuce. We didnt know what it was supposed to be like so it seemed ok. Cost for 3 items was about $40. Thought that was really pricey for food that just tasted ok. Like others, when i left, i thought, for less than half that I could have had a yummy mexican pizza from taco bell... There were 2 other customers that came in after us during our visit which was lunchtime on a Friday. It seemed pretty empty for a place that had such hype. It was a little dark inside and kind of on the cold side. Maybe it was just an off day or maybe its just not what it used?
