Let It Brie

I wanted to get a charcuterie board for Valentine's Day and after finding a few possible shops, I went with Let It Brie in downtown Fullerton. I called ahead and they said it takes about 20 minutes to make a custom order so I decided to use their online ordering system and pick it up at my leisure.A custom board starts at $19 to get the basics and then you add the meats, cheeses, and extras that you would like for $6.00 each. I went with Brie cheese, soft goat cheese, salami, Spanish chorizo, the premium honeycomb, and extra bread and crackers. It was easy to order online and I received a text message that my order was received and another when it was ready to pick up roughly 20 minutes later.Parking in DTF is often a challenge but I was able to find a spot pretty close. I walked in the front entrance and was greeted immediately. There is a big refrigerated cheese display in front along with some other products and a wine rack along the side counter. There are about four or five tables inside and a spacious outdoor patio with lots of seating in the rear. I was able to quickly pick up my order and went on my way. All of the staff had smiles on their faces and were very friendly on such a busy day. I exited out the rear door and even the gentleman on the patio said thank you.We enjoyed the custom charcuterie board and there was a lot of variety. The basics included figs & fig jam, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, dried apricots, pickles, green olives, strawberry yogurt pretzels, and a nice assortment of nuts. The portions of cheese were reasonable as well as the amount of meat. The salami slices still had the skin on the outside which was a little inconvenient to peel off, especially on Valentine's Day. The bread and crackers come in a separate brown bag and I would definitely recommend ordering the extra size. This board as ordered was $55. It wasn't a bargain but it wasn't outrageously expensive either.I would order from here again. The rear patio and overhead lights are inviting and it seems like it would be nice a nice place to have some cheese and wine on a nice evening.

I'm glad i came back and had a proper experience. SERVICE this time was great! The gentleman with the curly hair was very friendly and had great recommendations. HAPPY HOUR 5/5We only got to try the wine flight since we were persuaded to order the offering but they offer 10$ personal boards and 10$ flight of wine. The wine flight choices were reds, whites, or a both. We really enjoyed the pinot and the chardonnay. THE OFFERING 4/5I would say this scarcely feeds 7-8 but comfortably 5 to 6. It was great! Everything on the board we enjoyed. I will say, i think the boards are missing a spicy nut and some dark chocolate. I do want to mention they forgot the meat in the board and brought out a few pieces. Everyone got one piece and for that, i deduct a star.BATHROOMI feel like i have to mention the restroom because we couldn't use it comfortably. It's single room all gender restroom which means there can be a wait. It also smelled extremely unpleasant and a fix for that would be to leave a febreeze in the bathroom.Overall 4/5I will be returning and hopefully i have the same experience as last time.

Came here for the happy hour and was very pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend checking this place out. Personal boards had a nice selection of cheeses and nuts/fruits, with one cheese that I'd had before (Brie) and one that was a bit more specialty (monchego). House wine was great. There was also live music in the patio out back, so it made for a great vibe for a Thursday afternoon.

Went last night with my bf and had a good time. There was live music and the outdoor seating is nice with the heaters. We love their baked brie so we ordered that first (takes 20 mins) but we also ordered the phyllo cups (probably misspelled) that were good too. It was really nice of the server to suggest getting half and half of the order to try 2 different varieties. So far everything we have tried, we have liked and we will for sure be back.

We have been here a couple of times before and the service was great and they were very knowledgeable about the cheese.However when we came in yesterday, the server was not the usual person we see, and she wasn't as knowledgeable, helpful, or friendly.

I just want to thank the amazing staff for the beautiful cheese board they created for my NYE. They had specialty boards but being pregnant means I needed modifications. They went above and beyond and after missing cheese for the last 8 months I cannot say how grateful I am.

Wonderful place! The interior ambiance was rustic and there was ample seating indoors and outdoors, even during a weekend lunch. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helped me with finding good pairs of cheeses for my board. Their Brie pairs very well with their charcuterie board composition. It's a bit pricey, but a great choice for lunch.

I used to love this place, but their new management is just awful. The customer service is not what it used to be. The girls seem annoyed to help. My friends and I usually order the trailblazer, and we used to be able to pick at least one cheese we wanted to try. The last time we went the girl at the counter said that the cheese selection was up to the person cutting the cheeses... who just happened to be standing next to her. Like really? She couldn't just ask her? I also ordered a party board for Christmas Eve and it looked great, however it was mostly some gross fruits and nuts. The amount of cheese for a $140+ board was pathetic. Never again. Don't be fooled by their ads on holiday boards. You're basically buying a bunch of accompaniments. It's supposed to feed 9-10... does this look like enough cheese for 9-10?!

Food is great and it's a fun place to be. Been here twice and I just love it. They also have a nice place out back to sit.
