Super kind, top-notch service. Delicious black bean noodles! 10/10On the two occasions I visited this restaurant, I experienced stellar customer service. The food is amazing as other reviewers have mentioned, but what has truly won me over as a patron are the people behind the counter.I had read some reviews mentioning poor service, but the servers were consistently friendly and helpful each time. One time, I mistakenly ordered one order instead of two. I made the second order and prepared to wait the same amount of time, but they made sure it came out to me right away. They didn't have to, but they did it anyway. It really made me feel valued. I will definitely be back to support them and try more dishes!

WHEN: 11/19/21 @ 1pm on Saturday This small restaurant is located inside the Hannam Korean grocery store. It's located inside the food court which has a few other shops as well as a large shared eating area. When we arrived the market and food court was filled with Koreans eating and shopping. Everyone from grandpas to employees were eating together! I also noticed that most people were eating either the Jjamppong or the black bean noodle from this noodle store. I got the Jjamppong ($11) for two people and the portion is huge! It's served in a huge bowl FILLED with so much seafood. The noodles were amazing... chewy, flavorful, and dense! The flavor of the soup is everything you can ask for in a spicy seafood noodle. I'm so glad I came here because I just found my new favorite Korean noodle spot. I'll definitely be back to try the black bean noodle!

This restaurant is inside the food court of the Korean super market. Came during lunch and the wait wasn't bad at all, minus the fact that the parking lot was lit! Ordered the combo of jajangmyun and tangsooyook. It came out in about ten minutes. Overall I really liked the taste and flavor, it wasn't bland and had good flavor. I wouldn't say it's the best jajangmyun I've had but it was good enough.

So my friend who highly recommended this place is on our black list now. Probably should have trusted my gut feeling upon arriving... long story short, we decided to stop after 3 or 4 regretful bites and went to another restaurant.Definitely not on par with what was advertised as we've immediately made up our mind to boycott any/all place(s) that "particular" friend recommends.

I love their jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle) and their black bean noodle. The thing with their tangsooyook (sweet and sour pork) is that it doesnt stay crispy long when you get it togo.BUT its perfect when you heat it up on a pan! So pls do that. The hot and sour shrimp (ggamboong saewoo) has thicker batter than most other places. Its a little different than most Ive had but its just as enjoyable. One day I might try something different than these 4 dishes here. But until then, these are the staple.Inside the food court of hannam chain market.

Walking through Hannam Chain Super 1 Mart, meandering through the market aisles packed with Korean food, products and countless goodies, you will come to the back where the food court stands tucked away, but the smell of real good food of the motherland emanates from the many small restaurant kitchens. One such restaurant stands out more among the others and that is Lee Mangu Noodles. I had the pleasure of enjoying the Jjamppong (Spicy Korean-Chinese Seafood Noodle Soup) and I couldn't have enough. Perfect choice for a cold wintry SoCal day. This hefty bowl of soup beautifully and satisfyingly mixes shrimp, clams, mussels, squid, an array of vegetables and fresh noodles all bathing in a delicious, spicy and rich broth. After all the messy slurping, with soup drippings left on your chin to your clothes to the table, you are left feeling full, but not heavy. You feel warm and comfy inside. There are plenty more dishes on my list for the next time I am here. I really recommend this hidden Korean delight.

I see some reviews have only one star. Hm its weird. I heard from my mom that This place is always crowded ,And my first visit I was very satisfied! Especially blackbean noodle! Spicy noodle was good as well but at the end i felt little oily so I couldn't finish it but overall i really loved noodles.

I know there are so many korean style jajangmyun places around here. It's my second visit experience at Mangu boodles.Noodles was not bad. I ordered black bean noodle and spicy noodle. It was just soso. However, korean pork was truly bad. It was the worst one ever in my life. It was dry and cold... You could visit paik noodle for black bean noodle and fried pork. Tangsuyuk I will never be back

the portion sizes are ginormous and the jambong has a mountain of seafood in a ginormous bowl. food taste and quantity- cant beat it- its gotta be a solid 5 stars, minimum four stars. the tangsoo yook is made with rice flour batter, so its crispy and chewy- sooo good! so why the one star?the one star is for the food and the price. im not sure if its the employee or the owner there- but she left a terrible taste in my mouth. she has lighter brown dyed long hair-just fyi- if you order from her make sure you have her confirm your order.we got there early, since it wasnt open yet we decided to wait. after waiting 15 minutes for the store to open, we ordered the combo- jambong and tangsooyook. food came out and she had given us the wrong order- slightly annoying but no big deal. but this lady- her attitude shocked me. when i told her the order was incorrect, i had assumed she would maybe apologize and say something to the effect of im sorry, let me get you the correct order- apologies for the wait. pretty simple, no hard feelings- done. right?instead when i told her the order was incorrect, she looked at me and said, YOU told ME you wanted JAMBONG? no, you said jjajangmyun.i was a bit taken back because her tone went up two octaves, and her volume increased by a few notches, and if i wasnt dumbfounded i could have sworn they be fighting words. its a simple mistake, it happens, but i dont take well to a worked up emotional tone infused in the incorrectly placed blaming for the mistake- that being her almost getting worked up to the point of yelling.i told her no, i never eat jajangmyun- that ive never ordered it in my life, and that i had unmistakenly ordered the jambong. i would never make the mistake of ordering jajamgmyun. i can go on about this, because at this point after i had told her this, the cycle continued with her voice consistently rising a few notches everytime she accused me of ordering it incorrectly.i got annoyed by this time and i began getting frustrated at this point of telling her over five times i didnt order incorrectly. she finally put the order in after a five minute back and forth, and when i went back to get my food, she told me i had to pay more. typically i wouldnt mind, but at this point it was basically icing on the frustration cake.so i sat w my food, took two bites and threw everything away because the food just wouldnt go down after that spiel. what a f-inf waste of time and money not to mention leaving there in a freaking foul mood.if that lady wasnt there id give five, maybe four and a half stars for the jambong and tangsooyuk. since shes there they get a whopping one. thats being nice.if youre there, shouldnt be a problem so long as you make sure that lady with the light brown long hair repeats and confirms your order so she doesnt get it wrong and decide to tear you a new one saying you messed up the order.terrible terrible service from that lady. extremely unprofessional for someone working in a service industry.hope that helps
