Laventina's Big Cheese Pizza

I ordered a pizza with veggies including basil and no tomato sauce. They used the basil in a layer where the sauce would go so it didn't dry up in the oven and still tasted fresh - it was amazing!! Not sure if they always do this with the basil or if it was because I asked for no tomato sauce... either way it was really good. Got the pasta salad too, dry noodles with some veggies and a side of ranch. Basic due to no seasonings but decent for the price.

Very convenient to pick up, there's parking spaces right in front. With a continuous stream of cars parking, picking up and leaving, I was able to get a spot right away. Or you can get it delivered. We've been getting pizza here for the last many Tuesdays always delivered. This time I was driving by when it was going to be ready so I picked up instead. FYI there's a separate price list for delivery vs. pick up. We always get the medium with sausage and pepperoni with a half Antipasto salad. The pizza is a little spicy and I'm not sure if its from the sausage, the pepperoni or the sauce, but it's delicious. Always plenty leftover for lunch the next day.

Well done, pepperoni, jalapeño and bacon. The service was great and they were really quick as well. I'm not sure how it is during the day but at night the line wasn't long at all. It is a drive but it's definitely a nice place to stop by after the beach or before to get a pizza and watch the sunset

Still one of our family favorites here in Newport Beach. They're quick, staff are always friendly and the food is delicious! Great variety of salads, pastas, pizzas and chicken. Easy to see why it's a Newport crowd favorite. Thanks for the great service always, Rudy, Felipe!

This was one of the best pizza places I have had in a while!!! From the sauce to the bread everything is very good! First time trying and I will say I will be back with family. Thank you Big Cheese , you made me smile :)

Super quick delivery. Ordered directly through restaurant and came in great timing while we watched Dodgers and Yankees game 1 of World Series. Crust was good, probably would've been crustier and that crunch if we dined in, but still very good. Definitely a go to place on those nights you don't want to cook or dine out.

Didn't realize this was a walk-up place. Paid street parking to visit. Friendly staff. Really good pizza. They give you lots of topping which is rare. Delicious gluten-free and standard crust pizza. You have a choice of cauliflower or tapioca flour crust with the gluten-free. We chose tapioca. We picked up 2 for 3 of us and 1 standard. One of the gf was over done, but still edible. The tapioca crust was very nice. My husband enjoyed his. Glad we stopped.

The meatball Sando is amazing and $11.00 for a large-wow its a deal!!!I get it with pepperoncini's so so good.and the owner is such a nice guy!.
