La Traviata

I highly recommend making a reservation as this place is quite small and very popular. The service was excellent. We've been here many times and it never disappoints us. I ate the complimentary bread too quick to take a picture of it. The berry salad is seasonal so if it's available you need to order it. The salad is enough for two people to share and is very refreshing. The lasagna is very hearty and full of flavor. I love how they use two sauces a ragu meat style and a white creamy sauce. My husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was as equally delicious. We wouid of loved a dessert but were too full. There's nothing better then homemade pasta. If you haven't tried this restaurant you need to go soon.

Very old school luxury and beautiful surroundings. Now, lets talk food. Again, just scrumptious ! Both taste and prestation. Music nice little vibe feeling. Bar WOW. Fantastic coffee martini. Go, youll have a lovely evening.

I soo wanted to love this restaurant. Their service was very good. We were early and our server was juggling tables and bartending duties. She was communicative and helpful. The interior is very nice and the music was relaxing. I loved the whole vibe and had high hopes. Sadly, the food was mediocre. The salad was wilted and was supposed to have cranberries, but they put on raisins. I had the Pork saltimbocca which was very salty and the "risotto" that was supposed to be with it was also not good. Our cocktails were just okay. The server again was very good and offered to substitute something for me, but we were in a hurry. On the positive side, my companion had the Lobster pasta and said it was very good. We also enjoyed their Tiramisu. There are many restaurants in Long Beach, but I may try them again - as they were all so dang nice.

2nd time coming. This place is fantastic. The owner is walking around making sure that you are having a good time. The staff is excellent and you can tell they enjoy their job. The food is great. We came here tonight after a disappointing try at the new Sky Room. This place saved our 10th wedding anniversary night. After not enjoying the Sky Room we came here and had an excellent experience. The live music , extensive wine list and great food made up for the other place.

Our first time to this place in Long Beach. They were open on Thanksgiving day for dinner service. Had housse made pupkin raviolis, grilled asparagus and for dessert had pistachio cheese cake. Everything was yum. My grandson enjoyed his ravioli and at the end he put up Italian dinner napkin dance show. Haha

I was invited here for a Christmas party. My cousin was throwing. I love the bar and how much excitement. It brought to the restaurant. We had a private dining area and our own bartender.The meal for the evening was served family style. The entries included meat lasagna, a vegetarian lasagna, spicy pene pasta and a chicken Alfredo. What I really enjoyed the most was the Caesar salad, which was freshly made with anchovies.This classic salad is rarely made like this any more. The serving staff did great and all of our food was delivered in good time.The owner Mario is delightful and I definitely want visit again soon.

I'm giving three stars based on my meal. The service was great! The waitress and manager were soooo kind! I had the boar pasta, it tastes like spaghetti the flavor was great but it was just way too salty. Every bite was extremely salty I feel like if jt wasn't salty then it would be perfect.The Amaredo sower was the best amaredo sower I've had in a while I highly recommend!

I was finally able to dine in during business hours and it was worth it the wait. Ambience felt like an art gallery because of the beautiful art on the wall. Food options were limited but very unique. Pricing was appropriate for location and quality. Great place to take a date or family.

The food was good! They were really nice to customize our choices of pasta! Loved the ambience and the staff was really nice.

Mario saved me over the holidays this year. I had a very difficult situation with a vegetarian who is also allergic to several different food items and a vegan had similar issuesI was trying to find a restaurant that could accommodate their issues that was open on Christmas Day. I remembered Mario from prior years and I said I bet he can help me and he certainly did. We had a wonderful time. There was six of us. And everything we had was terrific, flavorful and there were empty plates all around! Mission accomplished! Thank you Mario !!
