They have Cafe de la Olla!! I love cafe de la olla. Their chips are so authentic. I had the Chilaquiles and boy it's a lot of food. With homemade potatoes, beans and corn tortillas. You can't go wrong with this place. I highly recommend this place.

The Mrs. and I had lunch today at La Pancita Feliz which occupies the very small end of a strip mall on the corner of La Mirada Boulevard and Mulberry Drive. We arrived shortly after noon and the restaurant was pretty busy. We were seated at a table in the very front of the restaurant. It was a great place to people watch. The one thing I noticed was that La Pancita Feliz makes a killing on takeout orders. There was only one waitress who was handling the take out orders and the seated diners so it took a few minutes for our order to be taken, but we didn't care. She made juggling the takeout orders, answering the phone, and waiting on tables look effortless. La Plancita Feliz's menu is pretty extensive. I was happy to see that Milanesa was on it. Since I'm a big fan of Milanesa, I had to try it. I've had it at many Mexican restaurants. Even in Mexico. It is a dish that, in my view, is made really, really good or really, really bad. There is no in between. Oftentimes the beef is paper thin and dry as a bone. I have to say that La Plancita Feliz's was THE BEST I've had. It was nicely breaded and tender. The breading had a really great flavor. My Milanesa came with rice, beans, and homemade corn tortillas. Finding a Mexican restaurant that makes their own tortillas is rare. The Mrs. ordered the Tacos Dorado Plate. She had a choice in the kind of meat she wanted and chose Carnitas. When her food arrived I wasn't sure if she'd like it because she tends to like her carnitas on the crispier side. She loved the tacos. Homemade tortillas were used for the tacos as well and the dish came with rice and beans. We enjoyed are experience at La Plancita Feliz. In fact, we are going to go back and try the nachos.

Great little cozy neighborhood family spot. It popped up when I was searching for a halfway point to catch up with a friend who was visiting Orange County. The portions are huge and they start you off with chips and salsa. I had chilaquiles with yummy grilled carne asada and J had a wet burrito - we left stuffed. Salsas were too tasty to pass up and then my meal was so filling! My daughter went basic with a quesadilla, not much to say about that. The waitress was very friendly and patient since we sat and chatted for a pretty long brunch. I would definitely recommend La Pancita Feliz!

Food is always tasty and the customer service is truly amazing. I like that I can place my order then walk over to Smart and Final for a few items and return for my order.

Mind blown by the 5 star reviews! This is a tiny hole in the wall, appears to be family-owned, no frills restaurant. Quick service, friendly waitress but the food itself leaves so so much to be desired. I ordered the milanesa and though it looked appetizing, it was left on the grill for too long and burnt along the bottom. When I notified the waitress, she told me she would notify the cook. When she returned with the check, she comped my drink for the burnt milanesa. The rice is very dry and tasteless. The beans were ok but the cheese on top gave a strange vibe since it never melted. Two handmade and large corn tortillas came with the plate for $18 but couldn't save burnt meat. This place was a one and done for me.
