Amazing portions for the price! The amount of meat you get is double what you get anywhere else. Every order comes with chips I think? (We ordered the birria tacos, carne asada taco, and al pastor) They also have a self serve salsa bar. Birria tacos: 7/10 good but not great.Carne asada taco: 8/10 really good! Al pastor taco: 8/10 I loved the spiciness of the taco, it was just right! I think all the tacos were really good and really filling. 2 is more than enough for a full meal bc of the amount of meat there is! I think that it's a bit hard to eat because there's so much meat and not enough tortilla but I actually love it as someone who tries to eat high protein!

I was craving Mexican food, but did not want anything fancy. I saw this place and the food looked delicious, I stopped by and besides looking delicious, it was!The prices were fair and even though it is a small restaurant, there was plenty of sitting. The service was amazing, the only negative was they didn't have Tres Leche Cake in stock, but that's for next time!

Really good hole in the wall. I am partial to their breakfast and breakfast burritos. The only place I have found to have the best tasting, not greasy chorizo and eggs. YumThere's a Starbucks, wig shop and some other good looking places next door. Service always quick and with a smile

Solid place for reasonably priced Mexican food! Tacos are $3.50 ($4.50 shrimp) and most burritos are under $10. I got a taco combo plate ($10.25) with two tacos, rice and beans. I chose blackened fish and chicken soft tacos, which are topped with onions and cilantro. These tacos were loaded, the tortillas barely able to contain all of the ingredients. My husband got the blackened fish burrito ($11). It was big, but had a lot of rice and beans. They have a salsa bar that you can help yourself to. La Laguna Mex Grill is very close to the OC Fair and would make a great dining alternative to the overpriced fair food.

This place is tiny but the food is really good. We ordered Al Pastor Tacos, a breakfast burrito, a blackened fish taco, and a kids quesadilla plate. The Al Pastor was not traditional but was still tasty. The kids ate all of their food. The staff also was very friendly.

Was on the hunt for a California Burrito and I found this restaurant on my Yelp feed. Yay yelp!! Had the opportunity to stop by today and it's a cute spot! The burritos are reasonably priced and you self serve your sauces and drinks. There is no drive through. My burrito was tightly wrapped and full. It was lacking sour cream (California burrito), but it tasted delicious still. Service was friendly and I'd definitely come back to try their other options.

Outstanding service, super clean place, and excellent food. My kids both had carne asada, and I had shrimp and al pastoor. I recommend the verde avocado salsa.

La Laguna has replaced El Mesquitito Grill. But don't fret--the food is still delicious! To be honest, the food tasted exactly the same to me (which is a good thing)I tried a Quesabirria, Carne Asada Nachos, and the Super California Burrito. We typically order the food ahead on the phone and it's usually ready in about 15 minutes or less. The salsas tasted exactly the way I remember El Mesquititios tasting. Pretty good! The Quesabirria and Nachos were good. Nothing too special, but still tasty. The most delicious item was DEFINITELY the Super California Burrito. A stomach bomb but still so delicious. Would definitely order that again!

Breakfast burritos are worth the price and is very tasty! They have a morning breakfast burrito special from 9am-11am that is $7, but not including the Laguna Burrito option. Chips were free and the sauces are pretty good with a kick! Service is welcoming and the interior is small, but has enough seatings for a few parties of 1-4 people.

Great food. Great prices. Family owned and super friendly. Small seating area inside.
