Kz Mori

This restaurant is located in Haven City Market in West Covina. We decided to order the Mix Katsu Combo for $19.99 for to go. Surprisingly, this combo comes with a generous portion of rice, salad with dressing, pork and chicken katsu, miso soup, and katsu and curry sauce. This is such a good value and delicious meal! We couldn't finish everything even when 2 adults were eating this combo meal. The curry tasted so good and thick, not too watery.The service was fast and the cashier was friendly and took our order promptly. There are plenty of tables and chairs indoor and outdoor. It has such a chill & relaxing feeling here. Next time maybe we'll come back and enjoy our food there.

Without the curry, the katsu is... bad. It's flavorless, crunchy protein pieces. However, something magical and delicious occurs once Kz Mori's curry drenches its katsu. The curry is creamy, peppery, and well-spiced. It's bliss. If you love curry, I easily recommend Kz Mori!I ordered the Mix Katsu Combo ($19.99). It contains curry sauce, cabbage salad, miso soup, rice, and katsu. If you're familiar with Hawaiian Katsu chain restaurants, Kz Mori's portions can't compare. The Mix Katsu Combo is enough for a day; however, it won't feed you for several. Also, as mentioned prior, the katsu (by itself) is bland. Its breading is thin and crunchy, but the protein felt squishy like a microwaved meatball. I stared unimpressively at the chunk.But... magic happened. I looked in amusement as the spongey chunk hungrily absorbed the creamy, peppery curry sauce. Then, I bit. My eyes widened. Yum!!The crisp breading of the katsu and the creamy, hot curry sauce caused a harmonious kick of flavor. That once dry katsu now felt moist, almost juicy. And I relished that lingering, playful burn in the back of my throat. Absolutely delish!! I arrived at Kz Mori (West Covina) on a weekday (around 11AM, opening time). Several more elderly patrons had already lined up! I overheard them say "it so good" to one another. I observed many more customers joining the line. Staff is courteous and quick. After ordering at the counter, I was given a food pager/beeper to notify me when it's ready. After eight minutes and 48 seconds, the beeper began to chime like an alarm clock and shake. The order was bagged up and handed over.Kz Mori is located within the Haven City Market plaza. It's loud inside. The music echoed dance-pop music (song example: Safe and Sound). The interior contains strong ventilation; it felt almost windy and chilly within the building. There are plenty of clean tables and seats inside and outside. I chose to eat outdoors for warmth, and I easily found a shady table. The ambiance felt cozy and safe, and I appreciated how the music speakers also played outdoors as-well.Overall, Kz Mori serves phenomenal curry. The flavors (when all meshed together) created a blissful harmony. In the end, Kz Mori surpassed all my expectations. Phenomenal, memorable experience.

Stall inside food court, no line, fast service, good food, price was good, especially since for the combos! Got the udon bc chicken katsu combo. Was delicious and had plenty of my favorite ingredient, fish cake! Plus, good soup! The chicken katsu was okay, standard and it was what I expected.

The Katsu combo is such a good deal! The katsu is crispy and tasty. You are able to take it to go and they load it up! You will be full. Service is good. Employees are nice. They have a seating area in the hall and lots of parking in the front.

The Chicken Katsu Curry is one of the best I've had. The portions are very generous as well. I'm a fan of Japanese curry and had to try their's.Let's start with the chicken. You get 3 thinly sliced chicken breasts, breaded with panko, golden brown and crispy yet still tender. You get a generous amount of thinly sliced cabbage with a sesame dressing, which pairs well with the rest of the meal. Rice, of course. And you get a small cup of miso soup, which wasn't necessarily needed, but still good.But the best thing was the curry sauce. I could literally eat just that over some rice. It was flavorful, the consistency wasn't too thin or too thick. There was a little bit of heat, which I loved.Service was quick even though there were a lot of people ordering from here. KZ Mori is located in the main hall of Haven City, so it is a little more bustling in this part of the building.

人生太長，什麼都可能會變，一輩子太短，有時候一件事可能也做不完， 在我看來， 人生就像一本書， 翻開是故事， 合上了則是回憶，就看你想怎麼編寫這本書～Haven裡面真的是五花八門，也太多店家了， 當晚，我選了一家吃咖喱的店家，叫了份炸雞排，是我這輩子吃過最大份的一份炸雞排了， 雞排真的比我的��臉要大，因為我的臉不是普通的大，所以我這樣形容，這就就是難得的真材實料了啦！ 口感方面，大概80-85分， 任何人是都不可能吃完這個大便當的，只吃了兩三片， 80% 是帶回家的，朋友吃了旁邊餐廳的鹹酥雞，實在太鹹，味道太重就不推薦了， 裡面有好多店家， 我覺得大家可以抽空過來看看，一定有你喜歡吃的東西！

Kz Mori is located at the Haven market. I like the chicken katsu here. The katsu is always a big size. You definitely get bang for your buck. I can separate one order for two meals. I also like the sauces for the katsu and for the salad. Both sauces are good. kz mori will be added to my dinner rotation. The service is good and fast. Overall, if you're cravings katsu come check this place out.

Consistently great food and service. Portions are LARGE! The tonkatsu I ordered was good for three meals for me (and I'm a big eater). There's all this cabbage plus soup and rice. The sauces do truly enhance the flavors. If you haven't tried KZ Mori yet, let me give you a little nudge...you're missing out!

Chicken Katsu is one of my favorite meals and Kz Mori offers a thin, crispy, and juicy chicken Katsu bedded on cabbage slaw. The katsu sauce is a great punch of flavor, but so is the sriracha mayo. The side of pickled radish is a refreshing addition. I don't usually have udon often, but after a long night of drinking... this was a great hangover cure. The warm broth was extremely comforting and it was loaded with fish cakes.Honestly, the service was just a little longer than I had anticipated since there was only 1 order ahead of me. I liked that they give you a number buzzer though so you can just walk around and look at what else is around the hall or look for seating.

got the chicken curry and it was so good!!! chicken is so tender, good portions, and the curry sauce was seriously so good! highly recommend :)
