If you are Chinese and currently lives in Rowland or Diamond Bar, then you've most likely been to KW cafe. The prices are higher than most cafes in the area and if you've read some of their Yelp reviews, their service sucks and the wait for a table takes forever, but their food is actually really darn good! I've been here for breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, and celebrations in their private rooms (birthdays and Lunar NY) and I've never had ever a bad experience. My mom actually comes here at least once a day (she is addicted to this place) so she is friends with staff, therefore I've never seen the waiters rude with bad attitudes. Parking could be bad depending on the time of day of your visit. The restaurant itself is pretty big with private rooms and outdoor covered patio seating. They do close earlier than most restaurants so make sure to double check the hours before heading there. 9/10 - highly recommended!

KW Cafe is one of the top HK cafes in all of Los Angeles. Their ongoing buy 1/2 chicken and get the other 1/2 free keeps me coming back again. Like most people you dine there for breakfast or lunch then you order the 1/2 chicken (get the remaining 1/2 free) and bam you have dinner as well. They have enough space for large family dinners. Huge selection of classic cantonese food and we're very impressed with the king crab and the rest of the seafood dishes we ordered. You must order ahead of time (a few business days) and price is affordable compared to other HK restaurants. So many options from the menu that you can't go wrong. Service can be spotty - there's definitely ones that are more responsive than others. You just need to know which one to wave down.

Awesome place - probably one of top Hong Kong cafes in the area! Highly recommend their roast duck - one of the better places where the meat is juicy and the skin is crispy compared to other places. Other things worth mentioning include Honey Walnut Shrimp, Fried Calamari, etc.Their clay pot rice and cucumber cold dish wasn't as good as other places I've been to - but still reasonable given that all their food are good.Service is good, and the atmosphere is nice as they have a large space. Come early because there can be a long wait!

Pricier than most HK/Western-style restaurant but you get great ambience in an tastefully elegant dining room in which to chow down the roast duck (excellent, not greasy), white & brown chicken (super good, definitely a 'happy' chicken when it was alive), and beef brisket lo mein (THE BEST version I've ever had in the SGV.) Beautiful menu, good service, quietly efficient waitstaff. No dim sum or lunch specials here folks, just the best HK-style comfort food in a beautiful restaurant. My compliments to the chef.

Ordered takeout on a rainy day and didn't have to wait too long, but I think it was a bit pricey for the portion of food given and was mostly bland and not flavorful. The interior is usually clean with lots of seating. Clam with basil did not have any basil flavoring, small, and had lots of meat fallout. ($22.99) Mixed seafood and tofu did not have much seafood at all, maybe 2 pieces of scallop, shrimp, and fish fillet. Tofu flavor was good but could use more seafood for the price. ($24.99) Crab meat and fish maw vegetable soup lacked flavor with little crab meat and fish maw. Very watered down but gave a lot. ($22.99) Salt and pepper pork chop had no salt nor pepper with fatty pieces. ($18.99) They did include free rice which was nice but would probably not order here again for dinner due to the price and flavor. Maybe they might have more affordable portions for lunch specials !

Been here a couple of times now, and the food is classic Hong Kong cafe style kind of food, with various meats and vegetables as well as fried rice and different styles of noodles. The place is rarely packed and we're usually able to get seated shortly after walking in, even with a larger group size. Some dishes are not bad, some are average, and some are below average. One of the chicken dishes we ordered the meat was overcooked and dry. I would say rice or noodles dishes are your best bet. Most of the dishes appeal to the Cantonese palate taste wise, but price wise not so much, it is on the higher side compared to some of the other restaurants in the 626.

The first time we went here, it was quite tasty. Second time, not as consistent. There tends to be a wait during lunch with families in queue. Amazing when done right Salted fish tofu chicken casserole - your tastebuds will be sent to the moonNot badBraised e fu noodles - simple, but good.Ok, but wouldn't get again Borscht - More tangy, needs more sweet and meat lolPassPork chop spaghetti- Noodles not overcooked and the sauce was missing some oomph

Came here for breakfast on my last morning in town. I enjoyed their lunch from the day before and I love a good macaroni soup with a fried egg, just like I do when I'm in HK. The portions are huge compared to what I am used to up North. I loved how they cooked my egg overhard, just how I liked it. But my DD was still raw, asking for sunny side up. The cooks could have steamed it for 20 seconds to endure the white was cooked. She ended up putting it into her soup to cook it herself. But unfortunately the soup wasn't hot enough (like a bowl of pho HOT). So she just ate it. She didn't bother the server as well...IYKYK. Parents ordered their Chinese combo breakfast with porridge. The preserved egg and pork was surprisingly good. Lots of flavors and not watered down.Coffee was good. But didn't have any sugar alternative. They give you straight up condensed milk for sweetner.Overall, 3.5 for breakfast

Large access parking lot, easy parking is a breeze. One short word about KW is that it is amazing. It is easily the best in its class for Hong Kong Cafe's in the area.Price per value of all the items are reasonable. Drinks are authentic, with unlimited refill and limited refill for reduced cost at happy hour. Drinks are never watee down and taste the same even after many refills. All the food from the classic soy sause fried noodles to western fusion HK classics such as the pineapple bun, and baked rice dishes taste to point. At times the food makes you forget that you are not in Hong Kong. The ambience is nice, seating is not too crowded and the servers are efficient and friendly.Overall highly recommended, best in its class.
