This is my second time eating here and I have really enjoyed my experience! There is plenty of booth seating and the place is decorated nicely. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. My friend and I both ordered ramen. The Kara miso ramen was rich and tasty, and it comes with a good amount of toppings. It also comes with plenty of noodles so I was able to fill up on this bowl. My friend got the vegan ramen and he really enjoyed it. I tasted the broth and it was really good! I've had vegan ramen at other places where the broth lacked flavor, but this one was very flavorful, so I highly recommend if you're vegan/vegetarian to try out their ramen. Overall I'd continue to come back here if I'm craving ramen.

Tip of of the iceberg!! I was gonna give this place a 3-4 but my guy lied about happy hour!!! I asked my server specifically about their happy hour menu and he was like we only have the b1g1 half off for rolls. But right before we left, someone asked for their happy hour and they gave him a menu what the..Service: I'm not usually one to care for bad service but service kinda sucks here. There were 2 servers and it's like they hate there job. It's the most quiet service I have every gotten I guess. How they seat people is interesting, they clearly wait for the next people to leave, then clean, then plate and then seat the next group. It's so visibly done. The thing that annoys is they don't recognize when some one comes it. You just stand there to stare at then to hope that they realize people are waiting to be seated. Ok no greeting is usually fine for me but then we got seated. The table CLEARLY had 2 plated. we were 3. The guy doesn't not tice to give us another plating until I ask for it. Same for just picking up trash or already finished plates. We put them out by the very edge of the table so they notice but it doesn't get cleared up until the next soup leaves so that they can clean the table and clear the plates at the same time. No service check ups at all. Saw a guy had to stand up and flag a server down to get the bill. Even my dad was like :( he hates it here.Food: Ribeye Sukiyaki : basically a nabe soup. I liked how warm and hearty the soup was. On the sweet side so I could only drink about 2 small bowls before the flavor was too much. Still good but it is $20. I recommend daikokuya's nabe upon instead for the price.Kuro RamenDefinitely a mid ramen for a kuro ramen. This one is super nutty. The pork broth is not they strong as the sesame and kuro oil was stronger than the broth itself. Their chasu is disappointing as they're slice as thin as mcdonalds bacon so you don't get much of the char flavor.B1g1 50% off rolls: their rolls are on the smaller side but they're pretty good. Oyako salmon: salmon and eggs. I liked that it had an okra for crunch.Omg roll: liked it more than the oyako salmon. Their tuna is done very well. And their eel is not very fishy. This location looks so nice as their interior is huge and very nicely japanese themed with the traditional looking booths. Sad there wasn't a better vibe. All in all I would rather go to their further location. Or maybe when they have different servers. Super disappointed about being decieved about their happy hour.

I've been to other Kopan locations and I'm so happy to see one here in WC! Ramen is the best medicine on cold winter days, especially when you're feeling a little sick. I needed a quickly satisfy my ramen craving, and it hit the spot. I looked at the sushi options too, but I wasn't in the mood for sushi. The ramen is exactly how I remember at the other locations. The downfalls of the ramen I received...-I wanted a hot soup to soothe my throat. The soup was between room temp and the ideal hot for how I was feeling. -The chashu seems to be cut a lot thinner than I remember. I remember, which was some time ago, the slices being double the thickness that what I received. -I don't remember if I saw extra toppings on the menu, like the crunchy onion and garlic. But post meal, I see it's on the online menu. -There seemed to be a huge amount of ramen and less broth. Although I enjoyed the amount of ramen, there's also a balance of broth to ramen. Wish there was more broth in the serving I received. Now, the broth was very flavorful. The spice was perfectly mild, the way I like it. The chashu perfectly cooked and flavorful. Service was good. The server was attentive for the most part. Felt a bit rushed, but it seemed like he was the only one on the floor. I was still enjoying my ramen and he already asked if I was ready to settle the bill. I kindly obliged and paid my bill at that moment. I could have potentially ordered sushi, depending how content I was after the ramen, or even dessert. Parking is convenient. The plaza does have a parking structure. Although, it appears that they are doing some construction, so there are large containers in the parking spaces. There is also street parking, which is a shorter walking distance on Glendora, where the entrance is located. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be looking forward to dining here again in the near future.

This used to be Sushi Damu location now Kopan Sushi. Interior looks very traditional Japanese style and it's very cozy, clean and spacious. Servers were friendly but not so attentive. We have been here a few times and only got their bento sets. We used to go to the one at Rowland Heights and glad that the opened one close to us now. Food was okay, salmon was little dried but the tempura was fresh and crispy, very tasty. The beef teriyaki was pretty good too. We would like to try their ramen next time. Great place for hanging out with friends and family.

Service was lacking for a Japanese ramen. The interior is beautiful and transport you to Japan but it feels gimmicky when the server is too busy talking to the other server about their vacation to help you. Bad service seems to be a problem according to the other negative reviews. The ramen is alright it's not as good as the other kopan locations. There's lots of parking across the street and the restaurant was clean. However, I wouldn't come back because it didn't really feel authentic. If you know better ramen spots go there instead

New Kopan just opened up in WestCo! I've tried other Kopan places and it was also pretty decent. This used to be a AYCE sushi joint, so I can see that the interior structure was quite similar. I like all the Japanese influence decor that they had all around! Very amusing that they were also playing old gen kpop so it was quite a throwback for me LOLWe mainly ordered ramen and a sushi to share. I tried the Kara Miso Ramen and my bf tried the Kuro Mayu Ramen. I personally liked the Kara Miso ramen more! The broth was very hearty and flavorful. Although, the chashu here is really tough. The ramen noodles were also more on the undercooked side too. Everything else was pretty okay. My bf also said he liked my broth better haha. We tried the OMG roll to share, and the sushi rice kinda tasted stale, but it was okay. Overall, food was just alright, but it is enough to get your ramen fix. Service was nice here since our waiter checked up on us pretty frequently. Food was also quick to come out.

First time here! And everyone was very welcoming and attentive!Loved the lunch special and BOGO 50% off!Parking here is free and they have plenty of public and garage parking. We came for lunch at 1:30pm and there was no wait, but a decent amount of people! Prices are super reasonable for how much they give you. Both the servers, worked very diligently and checked up on my table and water refills giving everyone great customer service. I loved the Japanese decor as it felt very authentic.
