Sushi was great until my 5th time patronizing this restaurant, the Salmon sushi slices were so thick and chewy - it was tough to get through. $15 for 4 pieces is crazy when the quality isn't spot on every time. I gave this place a break after that incident as I contacted the restaurant and they did nothing to rectify the issue. After about 2 months, I gave them another try but with their beef bulgogi bowl. A mistake! I asked the woman specifically if the meat came as advertised (thinly cut like Yoshinoya) and she said yes. When I picked up my lunch order and got back to work, i opened the box and BOOM - thick, dry, slices of meat with sesame seeds on it. Nothing like the advertised photo. Thankfully this time the manager was present and issued a refund as soon as I called. I appreciate their willingness to believe the customer but I wish the lady did not lie straight to my face and waste my time by ordering and driving there lol.

Kind of pains me to write this. Because I do support small businesses.The food was just ok. We went during happy hour. The prices for happy hour are appealing but the food quality was very mid to me.I've gone here a few times now and I always try things over again just to confirm before I write 3 or less. Spent $90 on this and I felt like it was a bit pricey for very middle of the road food.Tempura has 4 pcs. Pass on the calamariMango roll $12 for happy hour that was just so mediocre. Service was good however. I had to flag them to fill our tea but my experience wasn't spectacular. Small local join. I prob wouldn't frequent this place anymore because there's so many other places with better sushi.

This is a hidden gem in the city of Garden Grove! My girlfriend and i were scouting for a new sushi place in the area and were not disappointed. We came in on a Tuesday's night and were seated immediately. Our server Amy was very sweet and attentive. We happened to meet the owner, Ono, and he too was super friendly and fun. Overall, value was pretty dang good, generous serving sizes and their sashimi are fresh and on point! Thanks again for great food and a great time.

This is our normal Tuesday night spot. We've been coming for years. This has been the most consistent sushi spot. My fav is the refresher, I like it so much I often buy two. Great options for those who don't particularly like raw fish too. My hubby's fav is the BSE or lobster roll. The staff is always so thought and remembers my order every week. The restaurant is always clean and updated. It's a friendly spot where even the customers will chat with each other from different tables. It's def our neighborhood fav!

Great spot with a friendly spot and many sushi options! I came here 1 hour before closing on a weekday and the staff was very friendly and helpful when making menu suggestions. They have a lot of friendly local regulars which I take as a good sign of solid food and great service. I ordered a seared Tuna, yellow tail sashimi and a cooked roll with spicy tuna. Everytime is fresh and made to order at a good price.

The food is always so good and great variety of sushi. Love going here since they are always accommodating and fish is so fresh. We got here about twice a month with friends. Like that they will have sports on one of their TVs, food channels and music. Can't wait to back soon.

My family and I went for dinner and got a table quickly. It is a small restaurant so it can fill up quick! I had never been here before but was pleasantly surprised. The interiors are simple but definitely give you a sushi restaurant vibe. Our server came over shortly after us getting situated to get our drink orders. We started with Tuna Crunch and Yellowtail Jalapeno Sashimi appetizer, both were fantastic!! For dinner we tried a number of items... the Crunch Roll, Albacore Jalapeño Roll, a super yummie Hokkaido Scallop Sushi!! All the fish was so fresh and delicious! I highly recommend everything that we tried! I can't wait to go again!! These guys definitely know what they are doing!

So we ordered takeout so I can't attest to ambience or service, but the food was perfection. The spicy garlic edamame was incredible, the sauce so good I dribbled it on my other food. The gyoza, albeit pricey, was soooo perfectly cooked, crunchy on one side, soft on the other, with great flavor. The garlic fried rice was so fresh and flavorful! And of course my sushi. I got the dragon roll which is shrimp tempura, crab meat, topped with unagi and avocado, I was definitely pleased. So although on the pricey side for what you get, the quality was good so well worth the money
