Food: 10/10 The best Korean fried chicken for taste and value! Every time I come here, the food is amazing, and this visit did not disappoint. We ordered the plain fried chicken with the sauces on the side: sweet soy, hot, regular, and ranch. My favorites were the hot and ranch. We also tried the kimchi fried rice, which had bulgogi meat mixed in. It was my first time trying it since I usually go for the fries, but it was incredibly delicious!Service: 10/10 The service is spectacular, even on a busy Saturday night. I really love the fact that Korean restaurants often have a bell you can click to get their attention--it's so convenient!Price: 7/10 The wings are a great deal at $19.00 for 12, but I feel the kimchi fried rice at $16.00 is a bit overpriced.

My friends and I used to go here 2 - 3 times a month, but it's been a while since I've been back. It's still a really solid spot, just not one I would go to during dinner time on the weekend because it gets really crowded and loud. I like going during lunch time or in between lunch/dinner, since the service is a lot faster. The food still takes a while to come out, but my friend loves bringing up that they 'make it fresh and that's why it takes so long'. The waiters/waitresses can take a while when it's busy, and sometimes they seem understaffed, but no complaints otherwise since they're pretty friendly.I've tried different things from the menu (I can't find the pictures sadly!!)- Carbonara dukppoki (8/10): Very creamy and flavorful. I love the cooked onions and bacon - the sauce is heavy but tasty. My favorite thing to do is dip the chicken or fries in the extra sauce.- Parmesan wings (6/10): Got this once because I wanted to try it. It's okay, nothing special. Crispy and cheesy.- Supreme fries (10/10): I often contemplate coming to Kokos purely for the supreme fries. They're salty and soooo flavorful. I love the green onions and how it cuts the richness down, and the tangy sauce. - Original fried chicken (7/10): Crispy! You can get it with a side of sauces to dip, nothing too special.- Soy wings (9/10): I really enjoy their soy wings! My friend thinks it's a bit too salty but I'm a salt/sauce fiend. Sometimes the wing sizes are inconsistent, and you end up with a really sad looking one.

The crunch, the juiciness, the flavor will have you eating here every single week if you could. Past visits I've ordered both the Soy, Parmesan, and sweet and sour wings. The flavor of the listed flavors above all amazing and you can't go wrong. But during this visit I decided to try something and I don't think I can ever go back to ordering wet wings such as the soy or sweet and sour. When you order just the plain fried wings and get the sauce on the side, every single wing and bite will always have that crunch you're looking for. If you visit, give it a try! I don't know what they put in the corn cheese, but I always order 2 during my visits. The cheese pulls are insane. The inside gives real Korean pub vibes where you can spend a long time inside and have a great time with great company. The service is also great especially with the little call button.

8/10 Overall: this place has one of the crispiest Korean fried chicken I have ever had. Here, everything is made fresh to order and everything is fried with oil that is changed out daily. I just wish that dipping sauces were free, especially basic ones like ketchup and ranch. It is a bit expensive though, about $2 per wing. Service was great and there was a lot of seating with a nice ambiance. 8 pc Parmesan Wings $16: 3/5 This tasted like just the soy wings with parmesan sprinkled on top. The chicken was incredibly crispy but I wish the parmesan was a bit more flavorful.8 pc Soy Wings $15: 3.5/5 Soy flavor was yummy but I wish there was more sauce! Chicken was super crispy and large pieces!Supreme Fries $16: 4/5 Super flavorful, a little sweet, salty, and cheesy! The fries were crispy and flaky. A good portion of food for the price, would get this again!

I came in for a late dinner with some friends and Kokos hit the spot. We ordered Soy wings, Parmesan wings, supreme fries, and corn cheese. Soy wings and the supreme fries were my favorites of the night!!! Everything came at a reasonable price as well. Service was pretty good, they kept on refilling our waters quickly and the moment we clicked the button they were there. Inside there were a good amount of seats and the music can be a bit loud so you have to scream a bit haha. The EDM music was good just a bit too loud. I would definitely comeback here again for some late night wings! Soy Wings 3.5/5 These wings were my favorite of the 2 because the soy flavor was there and it wasn't sauced to the point where it made the wings soggy. The wings were really crispy and juicy but it did not blow me away. Parmesan Wings 2/5 The wings are still crispy and juicy but they just add Parmesan cheese on top LOLSupreme Fries 4/5 Aight I don't know what they put in this thing but boy it was so good! The combination of the sauces, onions, cheese, bacon, and some MSG makes in BANGIN! Corn Cheese 2/5 The corn cheese was alright, it is what it says it is, just corn and cheese. There wasn't any mayo or anything special inside of it. The cheese is really cheesy and has a nice pull but once it hardens, GG HAHA!

Koko's is a local favorite for Korean fried chicken. It's very pubby and a great place to drink and catch up with friends. The recipe is amazing. The chicken is very crispy, hot, juicy, and BIG. I took the size of Koko's wings for granted until I started going to other places. They must be double battered or something because each piece of chicken is substantially sized. We always fill up at Koko's. We always get the soy wings. But my absolutely favorite thing to get is the Supreme Fries. Aptly named, these fries are indeed supreme. They are so good. We once ordered two of them for a party of 5. Only thing is, I swear they used to come with thousand island on top. It's so much better with the thousand island. You simply MUST order it with thousand island sauce or else you're throwing. Service is good. Vibes are immaculate.

I fucking love this place for a late night greasy food eat out. If you are feeling something filling and just a pleasure to eat without worrying about nutrition this place is it. Their chicken tenders are so tender and hot when they come out to the table that it's always my go to. Their wings are also extremely good as they have multiple kinds of flavors, but I highly suggest that you get multiple flavors. You definitely need to do family style for this place, as if you order food specifically for yourself you would definitely get tired of the flavor extremely quickly. The servers are super attentive always checking on the table, and there's a button to call them over to your table as well. It's dimly lighted in the restaurant, but is relatively large so the wait is always short.

KoKo Chicken & BBQ is a local Korean fried chicken spot in the heart of Garden Grove. However, to me, it is the best fried chicken spot I have had. The flavor and crispiness of the chicken is always on point for me, making it something I constantly crave and come back to. Their soy wings are always served fresh, so it comes hot, juicy, and extremely crispy, even after taking it home! Their supreme fries are nothing special, but the flavors work super well together. This time I also tried their carbonara dukpokki, which was surprisingly pretty good as the creaminess of the sauce worked well with the rice cakes. The vibes inside the restaurant are also very good, although sometimes it does get pretty loud so make sure you're not planning an intimate conversation. Finally, the service has always been a highlight as the servers are friendly and quick! They always make sure that our waters and sides are filled up as well as checking in to see if we need anything.TLDR: KoKo Chicken is by far my favorite Korean fried chicken spot so check it out for a great time with family and friends!
