Keno's Restaurant in Anaheim offers a fun dining experience with great service and a unique vintage casino-inspired ambiance. Upon walking in, we had a variety of options to sit at, including stool tops directly facing the kitchen, booths, and the lower level casino room. The menu had a variety of options, including American and Mexican brunch food, sandwiches and burgers, and dinner platters. Since it was early in the day, we opted for two classic American Brunch dishes. I got a classic dish with two sunny-side up eggs, hash browns, two pancakes and a sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection, although I wish they had more vegetable options and included two sausages instead of one. My friend got the omelette dish, which was good, but did not include any meat/protein. Overall, the food was decent, but what really stands out and the reason I would come back is for the lively ambiance, unique vintage diner feel, and good service.

this was the most thoroughly enjoyable meal i've had in a long time.Service: the first thing i encountered was Julies AMAZING laugh as i walked in the door. i don't remember what she was laughing at, i think my keys sounding like bells but her warm demeanor immediately made me smile & feel welcome. she showed me to a huge comfortable booth in the lounge area.our server Roman was outstanding; she is so warm & literally treated us like family. she was on top of everything, even noticing we loved the tartar sauce & bringing us extra. Roman understands good service & balances efficiency & authenticity perfectly.Paco the busser is hilarious. he works super hard & is also very kind.Food:omg so good! i was expecting a lot because this restaurant was my choice.. i remembered coming here as a kid & it being almost like a club w people gambling & smoking, all dark & loungey.. it just drifted back into my mind & i called up my cousin who lives up the street to meet me there.mind you i drove from Laguna Niguel just to eat here..& from what i remember, i remember the food being a treat. let me tell you, Keno's did NOT disappoint.i had the Keno's Famous Fried Chicken & my cousin had the NY Steak w fried shrimp.we both started w the clam chowder, absolutely delicious! thick & packed w flavor, my favorite was the carrots, you can actually taste all the different ingredients!my fried chicken was OUTSTANDING, so crunchy & perfectly seasoned on the outside & so juicy & tender on the inside.the green beans were some of the best i've had in a restaurant, we were laughing so hard because of how much green beans juice would jump out while still being perfectly crunchy.i did order a baked potato & Roman later told me they were unavailable so i got the fries instead which were good. i must say that based upon the color of the fries the fryer oil is likely kept clean.one of my favorite aspects of the meal was the delicious sauces!! from their country gravy to the tangy & fresh cocktail sauce.. the tartar was likely my favorite; try it w the perfectly crunchy green beans & you'll be hooked!we tried each others food & her steak was delicious as were her mashed potatoes & her steak was a perfect medium rare as she requested.i'm usually a dessert girlie but i was stuffed! there's a photo of the heaping meal i made from my leftovers as well.atmosphere was on-point, i noticed a lot of regulars being recognized & greeted with smiles & mutual laughter. so sweet to see! we had planned to play keno but were too wrapped up in our delectable feast.five stars all around!! especially for Roman & the fried chicken!

Normally everything has been great. Tonight not so much. Maybe an off night. A few things were not right with our order/service and my bottled beer was served to me in terrible condition and beat up plus the date code was rubbed off. Also, I don't know of this is the new normal when you pay with a credit card at table side with the credit card machine and the wait staff standing there staring at you to decide on the tip, but that seems awkward.

Love coming here with my friends/family! The staff is always nice, knowledgeable, & efficient. A great family diner vibe.

The menu selection is incredible. It has almost every menu item that I want when going into a diner. My eyes lit up going over the list. I got the prime rib and I wouldn't say it was amazing but it was decent. The ambiance of the place is great as well. Really feels like an old vegas diner. I plan on going back to try out more food

As always my aunts favorite is lunch at Keno's. Julie and Eddie are amazing. Always friendly family atmosphere So friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing comfort food. Hot roast beef sandwich is delicious tender and satisfying. The Carnitas taco lunch special was some of the best I've ever had. Crispy and flavorful. Beans and rice were perfect. A very filling dish.

Fantastic prime rib dinner. Nice thick cut medium rare served with a baked potato and all the fixings. Fresh green beans cooked perfect. Great service, drinks refilled without having ask. Cafe seating has nice booths. The cocktail lounge is my preferred area for dining. The menu has a good variety for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Always walk away very satisfied.

Keno's is a timeless gem that has been serving the community for decades, and it's easy to see why it's still a favorite. After checking out their extensive menu on Yelp, I was excited to try it for myself, especially with so many options to choose from, including some seasonal specialties. The restaurant is spacious, with a cozy bar area offering a darker, more intimate vibe, and a bright, welcoming dining space. I ordered the pretzel, and to my surprise, it was absolutely perfect--soft, warm, and flavorful. Everything else we tried was just as delicious, making it clear this spot knows how to deliver classic comfort food. They even have a steakhouse menu for heartier cravings. I can't wait to go back and order that pretzel again!

Breakfast is served all day and it's good! Severs are home grown there the best in OC. Always make you enjoy your experience Lots of smiles when you walk in
