Wow, the service was amazing. Joshua was very attentive and accommodating. The food was great, especially the mozzarella sticks. Definitely recommend this restaurant

The service was very unpleasant. Condiments would not be served unless you asked, I'm not familiar with the food I ordered, I simply thought it was a good sandwich. But what would made the sandwich good was plain no mustard and no mayonnaise and no pickles

When you talk in, looks like you're in Porto's. They revamped it since the last time I went and looks much nicer. The people there are pretty friendly and helpful. However, it's takes so long to get someone to come back and get our orders, water refill, and to get our check to pay. Food however was great! I got the special which had corned beef chunks with their potatoes and eggs. It was delicious! My husband got the pastrami sandwich with fries and that was really good too! Portions are pretty big but we ate it all. We got some of their desserts and pastries and they were amazing as well. Especially their scones. Can't wait to go back soon to grab more pastries and sweets!

I got regular ranch after and it was better.Brisket of beef 3.5/5 - brisket lacked flavor but the broth was nice to dip. The mash potatoes are very hearty and not creamy or flavorful. Asparagus was perfect and seasoned well though! Chicken pot pie 3/5 - creamy pot pie with top pastry crust. Good flavor but amount of gravy is underwhelming and crust is only over the to do not a true pot pie with crust underneath. Walking in this place is very impressive, I expect a nice dining experience but it felt more like an old diner feel where it's just menu, order, eat, and go. Homey feel but fast casual in the end.Hostesses need more management as they have to walk over to check for open tables. That's bad since it appears they're triple seating the waiters when there is open seating elsewhere. The lack of technology for such an upgraded environment which is beautiful by the way. Service was perfunctory/lackluster... but not warm, friendly, or helpful. I had questions but felt the server was too busy to help. Overall, it's okay. If the wait is long I would go elsewhere. I've been to the bakery many times. The baked goods are also average.

Came here for the first time with my family of four around 4pm - we just wanted to check out the bakery items, at first glance, this is a really nice place, and charming, reminds us of Portos. As many reviews have stated their customer service is a one star, we told the lady three times our order and she still got it wrong in the end, went to try to fix it and her manager who was around 20 years old, was cold as ice and no apologies made. We finally got what we wanted in the first place and we did not even wanna go through all that inconvenience? Instead of a pleasant experience, it was frustrating.I went to the front hostess to ask if they still were selling coffee and she said no they were not and then didn't give me any reason why - other than they looked like they were closing from what I could see? However, I did see in that section that they had this amazing looking chocolate cake and again I asked how can I get a slice and the greeter had nothing to help me with other than they were closed?? Very confused I went over and saw someone behind the counter and she was really nice and decided to help me out even though they were closing for the day she sold me the cake slice. She deserved five stars! Giving this a two star because the cake and the pastries were excellent and would definitely come back for that.Customer service is what a restaurant and bakery should be all about, especially at a place that has so much potential?They could be top-notch and better if they could just be managed better.

Came here for breakfast and had the Lox and eggs upgraded with a bagel. Paired with the ohh la la spritz really was a foodies dream. Ohhh la la... the drink you never knew you needed in your life. Made with Prosecco, lemon, mint, st. Germain, and seltzer making it such a refreshing drink that you can't resist ordering two. I have reviewed this place a few times because there are just so many amazing items to try. And I will say that this place continues to impress me. Lets talk onion rings. This place hands down makes them incredible. I would recommend ordering this if you are a party of 4 because because as a party of 2 you will eat more onion rings than originally intended. Do I have any regrets about this choice, absolutely not because they were some darn good onions rings. Normally, I buy pastries or breads to go to try at home because I always leave stuffed. However; while I was finishing up breakfast, I noticed a husband and wife fighting over bagel chips. What intrigued me about this fight was not only the fact that it was over bagel chips, but the fact that it was over how many containers to buy. The husband wanted 3 and the wife said too bad I bought you 2. After seeing all that go down, well now I have to buy these bagel chips. OMGeee! I can see why that couple fought over how many containers to buy. They are made with simple quality ingredients and come in different flavors. They may look underwhelming, but the more you eat them the more you end up realizing you really can't stop. Overall, I always enjoy eating here. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and aesthetically so pleasing. The service is always incredible and the food is something to obsess about. I look forward to my next visit!

I visited this gem on President's Day, and although it was bustling around brunch time, it was well worth the wait. The wait time was a bit long, but you can skip the line by opting for to-go and enjoying your meal on the charming side patio or at the bar. While the side patio doesn't have a waiter or waitress service, it was definitely a quicker option than waiting for a table inside.The selection of baked goods here is impressive, and the coffee was truly delicious--my dark chocolate mocha latte with coconut milk hit the spot. I also tried the California club sandwich, which, while a little messy, exceeded expectations in flavor. It may not win any beauty contests, but it's worth every bite.The best part? It didn't break the bank. I got to enjoy my meal in a beautifully manicured area, surrounded by cute little birds and perfect weather. It was the ideal solo lunch date, and I'll definitely be back for another round of deliciousness.

Fab spot for breakfast or brunch. It has a full bakery and coffee shop. I saw a bar there too so good for happy hour cocktails as wellWe came here for lunch, I warn you, the portions are HUGE! My co-workers were eating for a long time..lol. I only had a salad with chicken and it was tasty .I ordered a Cappuccino & it was perfect! Great service overall. Worth noting the cool high ceiling building design. Very bright and spacious. We'll be back in near future!

Had family in town, and wanted to find a locale with something for everyone. Katella Bakery & Restaurant fit the bill. Breakfast all day (waffle here), lunch options, and a bakery for shopping gave every member of our group something to enjoy! Check out this Orange County institution next time you're nearby!
