Kang Euni Korean Restaurant

Now, that I have eaten here multiple times and tried many dishes, I know that the first few times were flukes. Everything tasted so good. The family that work there are friendly and the service was always prompt. If you appreciate legit authentic Korean meals, you should try this place.

Arrived for dinner close to closing time (the couple who own the restaurant were seated for their own dinner and the few back tables were not cleared). Thankfully the gentleman said we could still get dinner served.Got the octopus bibimbap : hot stone pot, we let the rice and octopus sit to get a nice crisp bottom crust .The galbi tang soup came with a very tender spare rib bone in, plus clear noodles. Broth was a little bit I enjoyed the kulkutsu dish: clear beef broth with thicker flat flour noodles, lots of sliced zucchini squash plus shredded carrots. It was very satisfying even without any meat.This used to be a poke bowl spot. Located in the plaza with a Walmart neighborhood store. Ongoing construction to update the outside of several business fronts. But this was a separate building,not part of the construction.Friendly people and family owned. Support small Asian owned businesses.

I came here for a late lunch because it was relatively close. This place is tucked away in the plaza shared with the Walmart neighborhood market. Lots of parking- no issues. This place is very traditional Korean mom and pop place. I've only seen older ajhummas and ahjusshis here lol. Food is good here, just wish they put more proteins for the price tag haha. I got the bulgogi bibimbap dolpan and it could easily serve two people. Or soup order was the galbitang with radish leaves which is very earthy if you like that. Plenty of seats, but will get noisy with the amount of old people drinking lol.

미국에서 먹은 한식중에 가장 맛있는 한식집!제대로 된 집밥맛을 느낄수 있어서 너무 좋았다.식당에서 대량 들여오는 사오는 반찬과는 100%다른 집밥 강언니님의 손맛! 정갈함과 깨끗함! 음식이 늦게 나와도 너무 좋았어요. 사장님의 고객응도 매너앤톤도 완벽!밑반찬에서 먼저 반하고, 첫메뉴 돼지갈비 진짜...함지박 보다 훨씬 맛있었습니다! (감동)청국장에 콩나물 들어간건 생전 처음보는데,청국장의 청국장 콩들 가득 무까지 들어간거보고, 맛은 진짜 청국장 국물과 야채에 제대로 우러나서쌀밥을 싹부르는맛.... 최고! 은대구조림은 다른 부에나팍 한식당들보다는 간이 쎄지 않은 편이지만! 맛으로만 보면 양념 진짜 대박이였습니다! 돌솥팬에 눌러붙은 은대구양념 박박 긁어먹었어요! 고급스러운 은대구조림 맛! 기절!마지막 곱창전골은 늦게 나왔는데, 와... 곱창 앙도 실하고!얼큰하니 정말 팔팔 끓여가며 계속 먹고싶은 맛이에요.친구들이랑 갔으면 무조건 밥까지 볶아먹을맛!!!우동사리 까지 들어있어서 너무 좋았어요! 개꿀참고로 여기 강언니네 반찬이 너무 맛있었어요.저희 가족분들 모두다 맛있게 드셔서 뿌듯했습니다.근데 너무 정성껏 만들어주신거 같아서 팍팍 못 먹을정도로 진짜 찐으로 맛있는 어머님손맛이에요.다음에 캘리포니아 애나하임 가더라도, 저희는 꼭 이집으로 한식 먹으러 갈거같아요! 감동받은 맛집이라서한글로 이렇게 리뷰 남깁니다!사장님과 강언니님! 너무 맛있었어요.다음에도 또 맛있는 한식 먹으러 가고싶어요부디 오래오래 강언니네 해주세요!(아구찜이 너무 먹고싶었어요! )다음에 갔을때는 아구찜이 메뉴에 있기를 바랍니당!‍

Been wanting to try this place as the menus looked very authentic and guessed would have tasted like "mom's home cooking"Well, it wasn't. Service was quick and pleasant. Wide range of menus to choose from. But wasn't impressed by overall taste of the entrees nor the banchan.

Visited this new gem today, and honestly loved everything about it. Side dishes were delicious, not salty, not rushed, very home made. The beefs fell off the bone nicely, with no chewiness. The acorn noodle was the star of the meal today. Reminded me of the noodles I would get in Korea from local mom and pop's restaurant. Place was clean, service was nice and simple. Y'all go check it out :)

Arrived about 90 minutes before closing. Ordered 4 dishes and still managed to leave in time.Food:All the banchan (side dishes) were so good. Not a single bad one. My favorite was perilla leaves, just because I love the flavor, but everything was good. Anchovies were also good- spicy beef soup - could have used more beef, but this was very tasty and brought back a lot of nostalgia. It was spicy but not too spicy.- spicy acorn noodle - also good- spicy stir-fried squid with udon noodles - a big serving. the udon was very slurpable. There was a lot of spice, but it wasn't too spicy. A good amount of squid. We ended up finishing everything.- to-go: noodles in chilled white bean soupThe prices were reasonable.Service:The man was friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly enough. They don't offer you extra water, so you have to ask.Ambiance:I loved how unassuming and family-feeling it was. They showed a Korean TV channel and played old English language songs. The focus is on the food. A place that Koreans frequent, so you know the food is good.The bathroom was clean, there were seat covers, the soap smelled good.Would definitely return.

BEST Korean food so far! We went to our normal place with a long wait then found this place! What a hidden gem. Everything was delicious!
