Super cute place! the decor was super pretty! Huge and spacious! Great bad bunny music on repeat hahaha! Food was good. The asada fries was a 5/5 Wings was ok 2/5Great happy hour! Service was great. Both bartenders we had was beyond amazing! 5/5Great location with a lot of parking!

Ordered a bowl of Menudo that was 15 dollars. Asked if they put Pata and they said they could include. First off the bowl was small. They did include the pata, but it took up the whole bowl and of course pata is mostly bone. So I went in to search for tripe and I found a total of 2 pieces. I get much larger bowl with pata and tons of tripe for much less at Tam's fast food restaurant and it is bomb!This menudo was good and the pata was good, but I can't believe they charge so much for so little.Server was polite and the place was nice, but I go for good food and decent service.Mexican food is simple and should not be so overpriced. Husband ordered mole enchilada and said it was okay. We both agreed we would not go back again.

I visited Kalveras in Covina on a weekday with a friend, and unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. I ordered a dish that felt overpriced for what I got, and after having two drinks, I ended up with an upset stomach later in the day.The ambiance also didn't hit the mark. The lighting was bright and hospital-like, which made the space feel sterile. I'd recommend softer, warmer lighting to create a more relaxed atmosphere. The music was barely audible--turning it up a bit could help energize the vibe. While I liked the TVs around the restaurant, they were showing shows with public commercials, which made the place feel a bit cheap. Plus, the TVs themselves could use an upgrade to larger, higher-quality screens for a better viewing experience.Additionally, I noticed staff walking around with mops during our meal, which wasn't very appetizing and didn't add to the dining experience. There was also a noticeable lack of enthusiasm from the staff, which left me wondering if morale could be improved.I feel a bit guilty sharing this, but I think a few changes in ambiance and service could really elevate Kalveras and make it a more welcoming place to dine. Hopefully, they'll take this feedback to heart! Instead of 3, I gave a 4 so it doesn't really affect their business stars with yelp, I want them to do well.

I have seen many Kalaveras' restaurants sprinkled all over Southern California, but I had never dined at one until this weekend. I was not expecting much besides standard combo plates and margaritas, but I was pleasantly surprised! The interior was beautifully decorated and the bar looked amazing with lots of TVs! I think I would enjoy watching an NBA game here. But let's get back to the food/drink. I ordered a margarita flight and posole. Both had the most eye pleasing presentations and the taste was right on point. The posole was made with chicken (which I prefer), and really hit the spot on a cold day. And I enjoyed every flavor of the margarita flight, even the fruit ones which are usually too sweet for my liking. I have a hard time picking my favorite flavor so I will just say the flight is my favorite flavor. Salud!

The service was friendly and quick. Food was delicious but on the spicy side (not a fan of spicy food) and made fresh to order. The chips and guacamole were my favorite! Guacamole was made fresh, I even took the left over home, couldn't let it go to waste. The ambiance was chill but we left as soon as a group with small kids were seated next to us. Didn't want our meal to be ruined by crying screaming children. Will definitely be coming back.

I had to change my review from a 5 star to 1 star, but wish I can give no star... I been here over 25 times since I'm a local residence. I will NEVER EVER come here again... I came here tonight with my daughter and grand daughter, for Taco Tuesday. We were seated fast... But the waiter cleaned the table knocked the crumbs on the booth seat, I asked him to clean that up, he seem bothered so my daughter and I cleaned the seat, they didn't have a booster seat for my 2yr old grand daughter, so she sat on her knees, now weren't offered water when we were seated. My daughter had to ask for water, the so call manager brings 2 glasses of water, and nothing for my grand daughter, so my daughter asked for water. She brings back a small plastic cup of water.... the tacos were fine...then when the so call manager came by with check, she asked my daughter if she wanted more water, my daughter told her yes, she took the glass. And never brought the glass back to my table, the so call manager took the glass of water to another lady at another table in the corner, the so call manager walked away... when she came back with my card and Merchant receipt, I asked her if she took my daughter's water cup, she tried to act lose, didnt understand, my daughter sz she seem like she was about to say No, but my daughter came right out and told her u took my water cup and never brought it back.. I jumped in and told the so call manager, U took my daughter's water cup with the straw to the lady on the far in corner, she looked at that table, sz to my daughter, sorry, never went to get the water cup, asked my daughter if she wanted more water... My daughter told her yes but in plastic cup to go... I signed the Merchant receipt and I didnt leave no tip.... This is NASTY...This is a very careless move, how many other people this happened to. I will never ever come back, will definitely tell my family and friends not to come here. I wrote a long note on the back of the receipt..... I rate my visit a 0.... the bathroom was clean.

Uuuuuh wtf the Sunday brunch bufet was lack luster some lady was there acting all VIP but it looked liked no one really knew who she was service was slow and options were limited So yeah I'll try again and see if they step it up the place is sparsely decorated and more grey the popping color seats were great if I was reading a book with a cup of coffee

Food was amazing we got what we paid for. And the staff was so kind and friendly. Our server Xiomara was so sweet and attentive to our needs the whole time we were there. And the restaurant itself is so pretty. The music is just perfect. Would def recommend!!! Kalaveras expect us soon!!

We celebrated a birthday here and had the best time!! Xiomara took care of us and was an amazing server!! She made sure that our birthday girl was taken care of and created an awesome celebration for her! Would definitely come back
