I have been here 1000 times, and finally coming around to review it finally! It's our go to sushi fix. This place is small, and can be a long wait on Fridays or the weekends, but you won't be disappointed. It is a convey type system, so the food comes to you. They have a plate system that tells you how much each item costs, pick what you like then they count the dishes at the the end. We eat like king/queens for like $40 each time. You can also order custom sushi rolls, we usually just eat the sushi on the conveyer cause it's ready and comes right to you!

No frills revolving sushi spot. Fish tastes fresh and amazing for the price point. Very affordable!! Write your order on the paper and stick it in the tube and wait for your dish to come around. ezpz esp if you do not like human interaction

I've been here before and it's always been a hit 5/5. This time we came on a Saturday for dinner around 5pm. 20 min wait to get seated so not bad at all but it was very busy! prices are good and food is very flavorful and tasty. it feels like a very authentic Japanese restaurant! love the revolving sushi.the only thing that made this 3 stars was the wait time for our food and the service. waiters never really checked on our table and we waited like 30-40 mins to get the order we put in, so we had to ask the chef for it lol. also went to the front to ask for the bill bc again, waiters never came to our table but i think that goes for all tables. all in all would probably come again but I would suggest a weekday, and service might be better.also candy roll was very heavy and didn't have rice. favorite was cajun salmon and mayo salmon. Other hand rolls were okay too.

Room temperature sushi delivered at a snail's pace. They do get packed during lunch and the turnover is on the slower end given the slow service and conveyor belt. The tables, booths, and conveyor were noticeably dusty and sticky. Rice and plastic coverings were present on the belt. The plates were also not placed neatly and there was often overlap between the plates and lids. The process wasn't explained to us. There were repeated dishes that were on the conveyor belt. Most of the dishes had to be placed on a paper sheet and placed into a glass cup on the belt. By the time my order came out on the belt, everyone was finished eating. Strangely there were dishes on the menu that weren't on the sheet and the servers didn't come by to clarify. Otherwise, the pricing depended on the dish color or pattern. The fish on the conveyor belt were warm or room temperature. The structural integrity was questionable as the rice wasn't well put together. *Yellowtail: poorly cut and was extremely fishy. Parts of the fish were shredded. *Scallop: good scallop to rice ratio. Slightly fishy but bearable compared to the yellowtail. Had a spongier mouthfeel. *Salmon: warm. Fishy and needed soy sauce to get down. However, the fish was cut generously. *Kaisen Roll: rice crumbled apart. The crab interior was mushy and heavy on the mayo. The spicy tuna was skimped on. *Eel: came with no sauce so it was bland. On the colder side so the texture was a bit chewy. *Oysters: the $5 plate came with two oysters. The oysters were warm and dry. They should have been chilled or arrive on ice. I wouldn't recommend this experience to newcomers for conveyor belt sushi. I also felt ill following this meal so the unsanitary measures seem even more significant.

Came here for dinner on a friday weekday. We were told we have to wait for about 30-40 mins for a table but got seated by 20 mins. The inside of the restaurant bar was pretty small so it made sense as to why we had to wait but the line does move very quickly since people usually come in and out fast.Scallop Nigiri 5/5- Very sweet and tender with the perfect amount of sushi riceBluefin Tuna Nigiri 5/5- I don't like tuna that much because of the fishy-ness but the tuna here was incredible since it had a very clean and tender taste to it.Salmon and Hamachi 5/5- Also very good pieces of sushi with very sweet, mild, and tender tasting pieces given to usOverall this place was really good. If you're looking to eat at a sushi bar with quick service I would recommend this place to anyone who also likes revolving sushi style restaurants.

I had been waiting for forever to come here because of the raving reviews on Yelp, recommendations from friends, and also because of the crowd I always see outside. Tall tale sign that it's a good spot to go to. It's a small space with minimal seating but if you go on a Monday night, no wait whatsoever! We got sat right away and it was such a fun experience. The servers were kind and efficient but ordering was simple! You simply check off the orders on the paper, place it in a cup on the conveyor belt and eventually, your order comes back around to you. I loved it! Quality of the fish was fantastic and the slices of fish were thick. Thick and tender. The miso soup was good as well. I will definitely be returning. The quality of the sushi was great for the price point.

Is it the most extravagant sushi out there? No. Is it worth the price and a decent weekday meal? Absolutely. This is a cozy little revolving sushi restaurant with an unassuming storefront. I couldn't tell it was open lol. There are a few dishes (salmon nigiri, edamame, and some rolls) permanently on the belt. The rest of the food you have to order by marking on the paper menu and putting it in the clear cup. The chefs will prep your order and place it on the white cup with your table number. I love that they have a wide selection of fish. The quality is solid for the price. None of it tasted fishy or suspicious. My favorites are the scallops and mackerel. Because of how cheap the plates are, we ate our heart out and ended up spending way more than we expected. No complaints though!

This is my go-to revolving sushi spot in Orange County! It is mainly bar-style seating, with a few larger tables for groups, so it's better to go in smaller groups. When you walk in, you are greeted with a very strong fishy stench, reminding me of a fish market. However, after a few minutes I do get used to that smell. The place has a bit of dust, which shows its long-standing presence, but trust me, the sushi is worth it.While there has been recent price increases, I still believe the quality of the fish is better compared to other revolving sushi places in the area. The menu is very diverse, offering a variety of nigiris, handrolls, and sashimi. My personal favorites are the salmon mayonnaise nigiris, which feature thinly sliced fresh onions drizzled with a sweet mayo sauce, and the scallop rolls that are always a hit.One of the best parts of the experience is the chance to either order directly from your table or snag whatever looked good from the revolving belt. I love watching what other people order, making me want to try everything. With such an extensive menu and consistently well-prepared classic sushi, this place never gets old. This spot truly stands out for its quality and variety, making it a must-visit for any sushi lover in the area.

Came with friends and the wait time was around 30 minutes. Well worth it because the fish was fresh and good quality. No hint of fishiness at all. Every item came with a good amount of fish, they do not skimp! The menu has so many good choices of rolls, sashimi, hand rolls, and nigiri. You pick however many you like on a piece of paper that you put on the conveyor belt. The fish comes on the belt in a quick manner! Everything was so tasty. The service was lacking, we were quite disappointed. My friend ordered one toro nigiri and asked the waitress when it was coming, as everything else had come. She was told toro ran out, but wouldn't have known otherwise. They did not check up on us at all. We tried getting their attention for a quick question, but they did not pay us any attention. We understand that it's busy, but there was no service. Overall it was a good experience. The booths were super comfy and the vibe was so fun with the whole conveyor belt situation. Would come again for the food.

Came here recently since we were in the area, but I have been here many, many, many, many (many) times before. I used to live in Costa Mesa and now I am quite sad that I don't live literally down the street anymore. It is not surprising that this restaurant survived through the pandemic, the business killer that was COVID-19. The sushi quality is pretty good, fresh, and they always have some sort of hand roll deal going on (every day is different!). You'll find the special deals on the tiny blackboard near the chefs. It is also not crazily expensive. If you're expecting fancy, top quality meat, this restaurant is not it.Your orders typically arrive on the conveyor belt and you have to watch for your table number label, but sometimes they do bring it directly thru a server. Make sure you take all the plates when you grab the food, because that is how they calculate your cost at the end of the meal. Service is actually pretty quick, although if you're exceptionally hungry, you may think it is torture watching your order rolling slowly down the conveyor belt. Especially if you sit farther from where the conveyor starts!Ambience is casual, lots of people just out here trying to enjoy good sushi. So if you're thinking about trying this place, think no more. My sister has checked in to this place 60 times as of the time I wrote this review, she has done all the thinking for you. You won't regret coming here.Just make sure you get there when it opens. Otherwise expect a wait.
