probably the best ghost kitchen i've had so far! i usually get garlic parmesan wings with ranch + spicy maple syrup, celery + carrots, and umami fries. it's literally my go-to order every time i eat here. just a reminder, because i've seen a few reviews regarding location and i was once confused myself when i used to do ubereats and had no clue what a ghost kitchen was, jolene's (as well as many other order-only restaurants) operate from a franchise either as partners or an extension of the restaurant (in this case, jolene's is the lazy dog's menu tailored only to wings and beer). you're typically only able to order from services like doordash, ubereats, or yelp, but sometimes you can go into the restaurant and order to go. hope i helped!

I was super excited to try Jolene's when I saw the advertisement online! I was even more excited to know that lazy dog was behind this new restaurant... I'm a regular patron and enjoy their menu and food quality as well as the atmosphere.The flavors all look very interesting and I ended up trying the Nashville hot bone in as well as the Kung Pao boneless. The boneless wings were far better than expected, great portion size, excellent amount of breading and texture as well as a decent sauce. Something in the sauce is a little bit reminiscent of oyster sauce, The first few wings are great, then the sauce gets a little bit redundant afterwards. Maybe some acidity could help lighten it up a little bit?I was most excited about the Nashville hot and was really hoping for big juicy bone in wings with great texture! I guess 2 out of 3 isn't bad... The Nashville hot sauce is great, just the right amount of heat and acidity you can keep going back for more! Best part is, it's not too salty! The wings are really good size, large and juicy! Where they fall short is in texture... The skin is soft and soggy, reminiscent of raw chicken thigh skin. These Wings didn't get hot enough to even render the fat immediately under the surface of the skin. It made the texture unbearable, I actually peeled most of the skin off of all of the wings before eating them as the texture ruined the experience. I know they were not, but I feel like they were boiled instead of fried.I guess I am just stuck making wings at home as no one in Southern California can seem to get this right... I really wanted to like these and was really excited about them, not a big boneless wing eater, but it's the only thing I'd go back for, if I went back.Jolene's if you're listening please fix this wing texture and either give me a crispy skin or a crunchy coating. I eat wings once a week and would love nothing more than to eat them there!!!Also I had the umami sauce as well as the Nashville hot ranch, both were great, neither were overpowering and both were light enough to allow me to taste the wing sauce underneath.

We ordered the sweet chili and Cajun lime wings with a side of onion rings. These were delivered through doordash. Order was delivered correctly. We had to air fry our onion rings because they were so soggy. When we bit into them they were bursting with oil. The sweet chili sauce was so watery and lacking that expected zing. The Cajun like was severely lacking the lime factor. The flavors were a huge miss. The chicken itself, was cooked well. Not dry. But their mix between flats/drums was disappointing. (I'm a flatter). Ranch is bomb ! Maybe give it a chance in person? Not sure I'd ever think of this place again.

So tonight Was my first time ordering in holy crap am I satisfied! I ordered the Asian Wings the smoky barbecue wings and the Nashville hot wings with honey mustard dipping sauce umami dipping sauce and this spicy maple dipping sauce which were all delicious Also got the fried chicken salad amazing like I'd be so cool without the chicken because the cornbread croutons unbelievable. Next time I'm going to get extra croutons on my salad

Wings were poorly sauced like no sauce at all. I don't know how any reputable restaurant lets items like this get past research and development. Me saying I am disappointed is an understatement. These reviews were read after I ordered unfortunately, but were spot on and it just seems like they don't care to even make them better by reading the reviews. The wings are still trash like the review from 5 months ago said.
