This place is one of my old trusty's I always run in for a bowl of soup and garlic bread. They offer a huge menu with tons of selections they also serve breakfast all day long They have daily specials and also have a drive thruThe staff here is all friendly and they are always wiping down the tables and booths You go and order at the counter and then they call your number. Despite the drive thru it's not your typical fast food place. So don't be surprised if you have to wait a few minutes If you're lucky, come here when they have their pulled pork sandwich special which I believe is on Fridays Also, come in and bring some food donations! They always have a donation box for the food bank. They used to just have it out during the holidays but they've had it up for a couple months now. They are always so generous here

I can't do it anymore. I've given this place about a dozen chances and the food is at best "mid." The issue is the service, but I'm not going to say the food is awful because the service is terrible, but the food definitely isn't worth it because it's very okay. I've tried several things now and I haven't had anything that blew my mind. Most things are fairly overpriced. Everyone's got an attitude and I don't get it. You can go in and just try to place your order get your food ask for a bit of salsa or something with your burrito and you get an attitude and an eye roll. I go to a drive-thru in Lakewood and they offer me salsa and there's no eye rolling or attitude. I literally heard them tell someone who ordered something that they can't do it and acted like the person should somehow know that they're out of something. They've done that to me too, where I order something that they can't make because they're out of something and they have to say it like you're stupid. I know this dynamic: this is a family owned / run business where no one can get fired because they are family so everyone feels safe to be a dick because nothing will happen. Every single one of these people would get canned from an In-N-Out for example. The places patronized heavily by Boomers for whom this mid food is probably mind blowing. Boomers also put too much emphasis on talking to young girls at the counter of restaurants so these boomer guys will keep coming even though they all carry a 'tude.Bottom line: shitty service, mid food, neither of these justify the prices.

I hate to do this to such an iconic Long Beach spot. The service at the drive thru was friendly and fairly prompt. But for the letdown, my breakfast burrito with chorizo and bacon was possibly the worst breakfast burrito I've ever had. Maybe it was ordering a breakfast burrito for lunch? But it was bland. The ingredients were dry like they'd been sitting out. I felt like I was eating leftover ingredients cooked a day earlier. Nothing tasted fresh. Eggs were dry, bacon was burnt and flavorless, Chorizo no flavor. I didn't get much cheese but again, there was nothing that stood out. Nothing savory or juicy or fresh at all in the burrito. And I was hungry going in.The plus, it was a huge burrito so if you're just looking to fill your stomach with a massive bunch of nothing, then I guess go for it. Thank god I did get a side of salsa verde, that at least added some texture and moistness to the dry overcooked, bland burrito. If I go back I think I'll do the patty melt since it's only $7.50. Overall really disappointed with the breakfast burrito. Sorry.

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito from here and after a couple VERY dry bites of beans, I decided to open up the burrito to see what's going on inside. Unfortunately, the refried beans inside were crumbling and dry. Fresh beans usually would be spilling out of a burrito if you ripped the tortilla. These beans were the consistency of 1 day old play dough :( It was basically inedible so I just ended up throwing the whole thing out. Besides that, the drive through service was fast and nice. A bean burrito is one of those things that's really hard to mess up. Not sure if I'll make it back to try their burgers.

You need to make sure your food handlers wear glove while handling the food. I went there ordered lunch to go. While I was waiting I noticed the guy handling my chicken tenders pick them up and with no gloves on split one tender to make sure it was cooked through. I then saw him go into what looked like a freezer drawer and again with his bare hands handling what again appeared to be my zucchini's and threw them into the fryer basket. I've never eaten there, but a few people I know have recommended it. I was disappointed. Won't be eating there.

The breakfasts here are wonderful! The only thing that is wrong is the home fried potatoes. Looks like they are fresh, but some of the potatoes are not cooked through. I hope they look into this. I will probably request another side

I stopped in this afternoon on my way to Millikan to pick up the kiddos from school and had just enough time for a quick drive thru lunch. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a medium Dr. Pepper for seventeen bucks. Sadly that isn't the worst I have laid lately. The service in the drive thru was friendly and quick. My subtraction of a star comes from the sandwich. Whole the meat was flavorful the bread was just entirely too much. If you stacked the bread and meat next to each other the bread would easily have been 50% more than the meat. This would not have been so bad if it was something other than a white roll type bread. The flavor just didn't go with the pastrami for me. Based on the service though, I will definitely be back to try some other menu items and will definitely update when I do.
