We had Korean Tofu soup at the mom-and-pop restaurant called Jeun Tong Tofu House last weekend. We've been there a few times before. It's located inside a strip mall on Nogales and Amar in West Covina. We ordered the following items:#1 Combo menu- BBQ Beef short ribs & tofu soup ($23.99 lunch price)#2 Combo menu- BBQ Beef Bulgogi & tofu soup ($22.99 lunch price)#8 Lunch menu of BBQ Beef Bulgogi Korean style marinated thinly sliced beef (no bones) $17.99 They served us delicious banchan (small side dishes) with broccoli, seasoned bean sprouts, spicy cucumber salad, kimchi, potato salad, sweet and sour seaweed salad, and bean curd. We liked potato salad, kimchi, and seasoned bean sprouts and asked for a refill once. The beef short ribs were very flavorful and addictive. They also provided scissors for me to cut the short ribs. We also liked the seafood tofu soup, it had a good portion of seafood inside and the tofu soup was delicious. The price was reasonable in the area. It was a satisfying Korean meal in wintertime.

One of my new favorite tofu house in the area. I like that their food tastes homemade and not dripping in oil. My toddler is really picky about food and even she likes to eat the chicken here.Highly recommend. It feels like a mom and pop shop. Very homey and service is always good when we go. They're very accommodating to our toddler also.Parking is easy. It's a fairly good sized plaza but can get busy.

This place is hands-down the Korean spot in town! Every time I come here, I'm reminded of Korea with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality. For lunch, we ordered the seafood tofu soup + bulgogi combo and the pork tofu soup + hot bibimbap combo. Both were absolutely perfect--comfort food at its finest! The flavors were bold and satisfying, and everything hit the spot just right. We also couldn't resist the pancake, and wow--it was crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The service here is top-notch. The young waiter was incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. On top of that, the grandma and grandpa who run the place are so welcoming and hospitable; they really make you feel at home.I love that this is a locally owned gem--it's clear they put their heart and soul into every dish. If you're craving authentic Korean food, this is the spot. I come here often, and it never disappoints! Highly recommend!

Pretty good tofu house. I love the flavor of the galbi! Very tender and flavorful. I love the ban chan they have. The tofu was delicious and the stone pot bibimbap was delicious too! Parking can be a pain during peak times. They offer lunch specials, some I can't wait to try that!

We found a great mom and pop restaurant- Jeun Tong Tofu House! We originally wanted to go to another tofu house but the line was too long, which I am actually thankful for because we were able to stumble across this hidden gem! The venue is nice and quaint. The family that owns and runs this restaurant really takes pride on quality of the food. The service was great and we were quickly given our canister of water, appetizers and side dishes in quick succession. The tofu soup was warm and comforting as always, they are decently generous with the toppings and tofu. We also ordered the korean style pancake which was served with a dipping sauce but was great on its own! This place is now permanently booked marked so I can return again (and again) with my family!!!

Great little korean bbq spot in walnut. Great food with excellent service. Came here for dinner with the family and a 2.5 yr old. Our toddler had the vegetable tofu soup which she enjoyed (just the tofu and veggies not the soup. she loves eating tofu and vegetables) along with some white rice. My wife ordered the tofu soup with galbi. The galbi had a very good marinade and cooked to perfection. Paired well with the tofu soup and just hit the spot when it comes to korean tofu soup and bbq. I ordered the bulgogi and tofu dumpling soup extra spicy. In my old clubbing days korean bbq after the club was the go to meal. The bulgogi here hit the spot with perfectly cooked bulgogi, which had excellent flavor due to the marinade and paired oh so well with the dumpling tofu soup. I love spicy food and whenever i get tofu soup max spice level is what i typically order. Loved it. Parking can be limited since its in a moderate sized plaza with boba shops and other eateries but when we came there was plenty. Not sure if thats the case when the plaza gets busy or if it ever gets to that point. Highly recommend coming here if you are craving korean tofu soup and bbq

I had the dumpling soup with spicy pork combo and a veggie pancake. Food was delicious and service was great. It's on the small side but at one point during our meal the place was packed. Lots of parking as the restaurant is located in a strip mall. I usually drive out to San Gabriel for Korean but this place is excellent and I hope to return.
