I've just come back again and always wanting to try something new with any of their recommended items of the day. I tried their Turkish pozole, a spinach dish, and their eggplant daily special and they knocked my socks off again! I am not a vegetarian but WOW, they know how to make use of all the flavors in the dish: that sautéed saucy spinach with yogurt eaten with pita bread. *chefs kiss* The Turkish pozole I loved more than my own homemade Mexican pozole. I think they use garbanzo beans or chickpeas instead of hominy which has a higher nutritional value and the flavors were rich and warm. Eggplant stuffed with ground beef was also one of my favorites. Service here always feels like you're visiting family, always loved and taken care of. Ambiance was amazing. Fun music and other friendly restaurant goers who we chatted with discussing Turkish adventures. 11/10 super happyThank you again, Izmir family.

Amazing food and great service. You need to try the all the meats. The chicken was really flavorful and they give good portions.

I just had my first meal at Izmir and it was outstanding. I'm so glad to have found this place as it's hard to find really clean and delicious food these days. Their menu is fantastic, they're really nice and they environment is great. Their menu owner Denny is super nice and said the recipes are his families recipes. They only use extra virgin olive oil and butter for cooking and their beef is angus beef. Give your self a treat and come here, you'll be super glad you did. Thanks to Broch who told me about to today at the gym. I'll be coming back to Izmir's again very soon.

You won't be disappointed when you walk into this place--the food is absolutely incredible. Every dish is so delicious that you'll have a tough time choosing what to order. The customer service is excellent.

Truly, the best my favorite was the spicy, meatball Gus on a plate and in a sandwich separately and both separate occasions! Lentil soup is delicious and absolutely love the complementary tea!

Finding this place was a happy little accident on our way to an event at the fairgrounds. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. For being in such a casual little setting it surprisingly felt like we were having a home-cooked meal. They had free hot tea available for us while we waited for our food, which was so reminiscent of being at a friend's house. The chicken kabob was one of the best I've ever had and all the apps and sides paired perfectly with it. Everything was satisfying and filling yet also felt light and healthy. The portions of food on their chicken kabob plate was quite generous and was enough for us to share. If we lived closer we would definitely keep this spot in a regular rotation, and if we find ourselves back in this area we will definitely be eating here again!

We tried grilled meatballs and izmir meatballs. They were both super delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who would like to try delicious homestyle Turkish food! Freshly brewed Turkish tea is a must to digest everything you eat

This place is fantastic. I've had Mediterranean food here and there and usually like it, but the spicy meatball anatolia dish I got here the other day might be my favorite yet. Definitely will be back.Shout out to their storemates healthy bistro too. That's how I discovered this place. Two places sharing a kitchen making really good, high quality food.
