Went in to this location that's closer to me and I'm beyond disappointed Restaurant was completely empty Cashier wasn't to friendly Acted like I was taking forever to order like if she had a line Placed my order it was expensive for fried rice with chicken I waited for about 5 min for my food Got it was expecting it to have the soup inside the box and the salsa was in a tiny container not even enough for my order Got home and was so disappointed it was dry chicken, big chunks of egg hardly any green onion and the rice absolutely had no flavor! No soup but charged me $19 bucks I normally go to the Hawaiian gardens location Everything is always perfect and delicious They are not stingy with there salsa and they give you soup I can see why this location was empty I'll definitely never go to this location or recommend it to anyone

Arrived on a Friday evening. It was located in a strip center, so parking was complimentary and plentiful. The eatery reminded me more of a fast-food restaurant. Place your order at the counter and take a seat in the small dining room. We were hungry, so we ordered two entrees. Lomo saltado and the Jalea Marsico's. The seafood arrived first and consisted of fish, shrimp, squid, octopus, and yucca. This reminded me more of an appetizer, although it was large enough for probably three people to share. The lomo saltado arrived shortly after, but the beef was tough, lacked flavor, and was disappointing. I was surprised since most of the reviews spoke highly of this.Service was average, and female at the counter was not welcoming and friendly - maybe she was having an off day?I wouldn't go out of my way to return here with so many other options in the area, not to mention the prices were high for the quality of food and service I received.

Food was dry & lacking flavor Service was quick & ambiance is 3/10 really dark inside & not in an intimate way.

It used to be really good and we used to go often but the last two times we ordered the food didn't taste or look the same. Cuzco on Harbor/Imperial is much better now. The green sauce is too hot and doesn't taste Peruvian. Cashier now isn't friendly.

Just ordered Saltado de Mariscos for dinner 4/21/24 and got a plate full of potatoes !!!! Shrimp and squid is 10% and 90% potatoes. I paid $25 for potatoes. BS... not coming back to this place . It was once good back in the day... we called them to let them know. The Chef is F* playing games with the take out customers!!!They will go out of business if they continue this shit.... don't cheat your customers ... you will lose them....

This meal is absolute magic! Combination steak and shrimp Saltado with the salsa criolla sauce on the side & it comes with 1 Aji pieza sauce. This delicious Peruvian comfort food never disappoints. Ordered by phone & was ready when I got there. Fast service. Perfection!

This place makes such delicious Peruvian food. I order from here on an almost weekly basis. I've ordered The lomo saltado de carne, tallerin saltado de carne, arroz chaufa de carne, arroz chaufa de pollo, and arroz chaufa de marisco. I have enjoyed all of these dishes. I either order the lunch special or a la carte. It all depends on how much food I want. What can I say? Good food is good food. And the price and portions are reasonable. I highly recommend you come here if you want to enjoy good Peruvian food. Oh, and they make it to-order, so the food is always hot and fresh. You never have to wait more than 10 to 15 minutes for your order, even when they're busy.

Larger portions, priced reasonably, taste good. Service is only luke warm. Wasn't sure how to tip, walk up counter, but dropped your plate at the table. Between the more upscale Peruvian place next door, I actually prefer the taste to this place.

This place serves up some seriously mouthwatering Peruvian cuisine. I'm practically a regular here, ordering from them almost every week. Their lomo saltado de carne, tallerin saltado de carne, arroz chaufa de carne, arroz chaufa de pollo, and arroz chaufa de marisco are all top-notch.I usually opt for either the lunch special or order à la carte, depending on my appetite. Good food is good food, right? Plus, their prices are fair, and the portions are reasonable. If you're craving authentic Peruvian flavors, I highly recommend giving this place a try.Just a heads up, though - if you're getting delivery, the portions might be a bit smaller, and they occasionally forget to include extra sauces you've paid for. But hey, when they make your order fresh, you can count on it being hot and delicious. And even during peak times, you'll rarely wait more than 10 to 15 minutes for your order.

Had dinner here a week ago. Their Lomo Saltado is the best to compare with several other restaurants in La Habra and Whittier that offer Peruvian food. Their portion is quite generous too. I feel this is the hole in the wall restaurant.
