I haven't had Ike's in a decade or so, but I remember enjoying the veggie selections.Options are more expensive now (sadly to be expected in 2025) and I only came to take advantage of the free sandwich reward you get for signing up. I ordered the Meatless Mike (7/10, lacking in the quintessential tomato and cheese flavors) and the Jaymeatless (8.5/10, sauce was a bit too sweet).The service was good. Food came out fast. There was no line at around 2pm. The interior was clean. I wish the menu was closer to the ordering station; it's hard to remember which add-ons you want when you're ordering multiple sandwiches.

I was craving some deli sandwiches, and this spot was the closest option near where we live. The service was okay, though the cashier didn't seem very welcoming--she gave off the vibe that she didn't want to be there. The ambiance was typical of a sandwich shop, but I found the Long Beach location to be a bit livelier than this one. I ordered the "Name of Girl I Am Dating," which comes with halal chicken, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and the choice of lettuce and tomatoes. I chose Dutch crunch bread for my sandwich. It was delicious, though not quite as good as the "Ménage à Trois." Each Ike's location offers different types of sandwiches with unique specials, which is always fun to explore.

I've been coming to Ike's for several years, and began as a vegetarian. Now that I'm a vegan, I need to explicitly tell any of you looking for meatless options to not come here. The cross contamination is honestly ridiculous. Several times now I have found pieces of meat and cheese in my sandwich (even when I ask for no cheese, vegan or otherwise). Today I ordered a vegan james and the giant peach, with vegan chicken. In the smack middle of the sandwich was a piece of BEEF and CHEESE. #1. How tf did it get in the MIDDLE?? #2. The sandwich comes with vegan chicken, not even beef. Who knows if it was actually vegetarian/vegan. Even if you dont care about communal fryers or utensils with cross contamination, this place will put pieces and i mean CHUNKS of meat in your sandwich. Vegans and vegetarians beware.

I've been to the Ike's in El Cerrito many times, first time at this one in Westminster. Friendly service. First time for my husband at any Ike's, he wanted a meatball sandwich but didn't know what number that would be. They created one for him with meatballs, red pesto, some kind of cheese. Unfortunately, since he hadn't been there before, he didn't know that all the sandwiches come with Dirty Sauce (garlic aioli) which did not mix well with the other flavors. He probably could have just got meatballs, marinara and provolone, and that's it. So he was not happy.I ordered the #34 Hunter Pence $16.95 Turkey, Bacon, Avocado, BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, Swiss, Cheddar, Pepper Jack. With no BBQ sauce and no pepper jack, add pepperoncinis. It was pretty close to the #25 Barry Bonds that I usually get. Turkey, Bacon, Swiss add avocado and pepperoncinis.One nice thing they do here is upgrade to a combo but it can be any two of these three things: drink, dessert, chips. I just got water so then I could have a brownie and chips! Genius! I would love it if Ike's published their entire list of 800 sandwiches somewhere. That would be amazing. As it is, each restaurant has different sandwiches listed (not in order) with a local exclusive sandwich.

It's alright. I had the roast beef and bacon with Ike's special sauce (their version of mayo). The bread I chose was good, but got over it after the last bite. They don't have normal oil and vinegar. The service wasn't special, I had questions and the girl looked at me like I never been there. Well I hadn't been there. The bathroom could be cleaner and restocked since there wasn't many customers just us. Again, food was ok, but the I'd go easy on the sauce. There's a lot of vegetarian options at this location.

Received a birthday sandwich coupon via e-mail from Ike's and drove 30 minutes to get here. This is the nearest Ike's to me, but I usually frequent their Carson location. I love this location a lot. It's big, clean and it looks new. I ordered my sandwich online using my birthday coupon and picked it up with no issues. My go-to is the Menage-a-Trois on Dutch Crunch bread with everything on it. Ike's sandwiches are unlike any I've ever tried and are so addicting. They just have a unique flavor profile and it's super filling. I never regret eating an Ike's sandwich for real. They also give you a lolipop for some reason which is cute. This location is really peaceful. If you need a moment to yourself for any reason I would just come here and enjoy a sandwich.

I've only really been to one other sandwich place and that spot has hit all my expectations. I'm glad to say that this place hit the spot too!My cousin and I wanted to share a sandwich and it was our first time here. We got one of their favorites: Matt Cain on Dutch Bread. Everything was proportionate and SO GOOD! Especially the bread!! It was crunchy, flavorful, and I need the recipe for the sauce ASAP. We also got a side of chips and complimentary lollipops to finish off our meal. I was honestly full off of half so you could save the other half for later if you're not a heavy eater. Definitely taking my boyfriend here to try it out. So many selections, including vegetarian options!
