Absolutely delicious ramen!Recently, I have been binge-watching Naruto and for the first time in my life, I decided to try ramen to see what all the fuss was about. Okay, I understand. It's really good. If you think ramen is cup of noddles... Technically, it is... but... The ramen here is like Mike Tyson in his prime throwing a punch, y'know. Then you watch a kid throw his first punch ever, y'know. Technically, that's a punch. Technically. Not a Mike Tyson punch, but definitely... it's a punch. This ramen punches your taste buds with FLAVOR like Mike Tyson punches his opponents in boxing! Mmm, delicious. It's a different level. Now onto the service... I've been here 4 times already. First time was so long ago, I don't remember. Second and third service were quick and on point, handing me the check as I finished the ramen, and asking me if I was ready almost immediately as I sat the menu down and started using my phone. Perfectly timed. Today, the waiter was a bit slow with the check... technically. I had to make it absolutely obvious to him I was done with my food before he asked me, but I think he was busy with someone else's order too. So like, not perfectly timed but... Still 9.999/10. I don't know, this place is pretty perfect but I don't know ramen much. I've tried Slurping Ramen on Beach, but this ramen is far superier in taste, spiciness difference levels (Slurping Ramen has 3 spicy levels, this place has 20!) Unfortunately, this place closes too early for me so I have to go to Slurping Ramen during the weekdays. Also, the egg is cooked to perfection each time. Super delicious! And for the ambiance, I don't really know. It's nice, I suppose. I go in, order my food, and watch Naruto. So I don't pay attention to that stuff. But I will tell you if you come solo, your experience will be the most unique dining experience you've ever had in your life. You'll be seated at the bar, for lack of a better term. And they have these windows the slide up and they deliver the food directly to you. It's actually pretty cool. Like I've NEVER had food served this way EVER. The very first time - it startled me a bit. But I'm a nervous/anxious person. So it probably won't startle you if you're reading this.Anyways, that's my review. I really love this place.Oh, I forgot the cons. There's two cons I can think of.First con is the chashu pork. They are extremely large slices of pork compared to Slurping Ramen. Because of this, it's kind of difficult to cut the pork in pieces to eat with the ramen. But I'm sure, as a novice ramen eater, this is a lack of skill and knowledge. This con aside is heavily outweighed by the pro of the fact that the chashu pork is extremely large slices and it's a lot of protein and meat and i love protein and meat. I'm not going to complain about getting more meat in my ramen. Second con is... well, I personally don't like pork. And I don't like sea food. And I've never had chicken that tasted good, and those are the only meats available. I wish they offered beef as a meat option. I don't know why they don't, but neither does Slurping Ramen. So I think perhaps it's a ramen thing. Beef ain't supposed to go in ramen. I don't know, I'm not Japanese and I don't eat ramen. I'm Italian and I eat spaghetti. There are some meats you don't put in spaghetti as an Italian. Or pizza... you don't put pineapple on pizza. Margherita pizzas only! Haha, I kid I kid. I actually like pineapple on pizza, fight me. But all jokes aside, I really wish they offered beef. So really... There's not really many cons to this place when you think about it.I can still taste the ramen, even after eating a large ice cream cone from Dairy Queen hours after. Mmm, so delicious.Ichitaru Ramen is the best ramen in the entire world.

Haven't been in a few years Restaurant layout the same but the individual booth sat at had tape film residue on the entire table giving it a odd sticky non clean appearance Menu offerings has certainly changed with decrease variety of ramen to chose from. Service was standard polite efficientPrices did increase but portion appear to decrease Garlic bomb wasn't as strong in garlic flavorNiboshi hearty but lacked flavor It was a spot for a quick fix but did t stand out like it did years ago and in comparison to other ramen spots Probably won't return anytime soon

Food and Service are the worst. The ramen tastes not good, just a salty flavor. It may be good enough for those who don't know what ramen tastes like, but I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.I hope you go here and are not disappointed with the food called ramen.

This is my go-to place. I love their food. Great portions and if you go outside of rush hours, the food is perfect.

Ichitaru Ramen never disappoints! The ramen was absolutely delicious rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Customer service was outstanding as usual; the staff here is always welcoming and attentive, which makes every visit a pleasure. I love everything about this authentic ramen spot, from the warm ambiance to the attention to detail in each dish. For this visit, we ordered two appetizers and two ramen bowls, along with a couple of sodas. The total came out to around $70, which felt reasonable given the quality and portions. Parking was a breeze, which is always a plus. My only wish? That they stayed open a little later I'd love to be able to swing by for a late-night bowl! Can't wait to explore more of their menu on my next visit.

Oh my gosh, another hidden gem discovered by yelp! Hole in the wall gem that definitely didn't disappoint and so happy we decided to try here. Craving ramen and picked this spot. Wanted to be cute and sit at the single spots just like they do in Japan but they also had tables for parties of more than one. Garlic Bomb Ramen was exactly that, Bomb! Love that you can pick Shoyu, Miso, or Spicy Miso base. Opted for Miso and it was just how I like it. So funny, keep in mind they have 20 levels of spice. The worker said it starts to get painful around level 5 haha! Also loved the pork buns! Soft bun, soft meat, tasty sauce and refreshing greens. Will definitely come back :)

Since I'm a resident of Cypress, I'm always looking to try and find local asian places, since there arent a ton of good options. I found this place after looking through yelp and decided to give it a try. I came late on a Wednesday night and was surprised that it was relatively crowded. Maybe a little too crowded because it took forever to get my food even after calling ahead. I went inside and told them my name and said that because it was so busy, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes. This is 30 minutes after calling initially. I had only ordered a chashu ramen so I was a bit confused why it took so long. Of course they took my payment right away, but after that I just stood there waiting awkwardly. After a while of not receiving my food, I even had to go ask them where my food was and apparently it had just been sitting there. I feel for the waiter because it was literally 1 person doing everything out there. The restaurant seriously needs to get more staff though. After I got my food, I took it back and dug in. It was..okay...the chashu was tough and not tender, the noodles were cooked okay, and the broth wasnt overly creamy. The portion also wasnt very big. One order was almost $20 and that was for a 1 item to go order. Sadly, I dont think this place is worth revisiting for me.

So been coming here for years especially before moving out to the Coachella valley. So was looking forward to trying it again, was always one of my favorite ramen places when I lived in OC.Unfortunately once we walked in, it smelled funky. Almost like if you were next to the restroom. So took a bit to get use to. It was really busy and I noticed still they only have one server for all the tables. But she was on it for everyone. So great service from her despite them having her be the only one with a packed restaurant. The ramen is still good but wasn't feeling the chatsu this time. We both still ate most of it. Of course they have a wide selection of ramen and tried almost all of them but have my favorites. So anyone new can look forward to having options. I feel as though the majority of the people eating in there have gone there before, because most people are patient and were quick to order.Still giving it a 4 because the majority of the time between my first review and now we're positive experiences. It was probably busy because not everything was opened on New Year's Day and it was very busy. Like I said props to the waitress, think her name was Sam, for keeping up. Just hope next time it doesn't smell and it's not crazy busy. But will still keep going back.

The food was okay, noodles had little to no flavor but the soups were so nice. The area we sat in had a musty smell. Service was not the best, they forgot our water and we got our food first. I personally would not come back.
