Hong Kong Express Chinese Food

Hong Kong express is a fast food Chinese restaurant that serves big amounts of food. In most instances, the person serving the food cannot even close the plate. They need tape in order to close the plate. It is a very small place so I never I never eat there but, I always take my foot to go and enjoy it at home.

This place came through clutch. I needed to feed 12 people and I needed the food ready in 15 minutes. I walked in at 11:15 and placed an order. It was ready in 12 minutes. I didn't have high expectations but I can tell you that all 12 people truly enjoyed the food and I was a savior to the Doctors that ate the food.

Sadly, this place does not live up to the to the Hong Kong Chinese food chain hype. When we got there, the food was all old and dry. Nothing seems fresh even the restaurant seemed uncut. Will not be coming here at all even though it's the closest Chinese food place from my house.

Ordered mushrooms chicken 1 item and white steam rice. The zucchini with was bitter as hell! On top of that the girl charged me for a two item when I clearly got one item and she didn't even fill my container! I get it its hard to have your business but how can you forget to soak in salt water your zucchini before you cook it! If you don't do that then your vegetable is bitter. Geez

Best Chinese fast food spot in town. Panda Express is garbage. This place is a hidden gem when you want some quick delicious take out...always hits the spot.

Excellent Chinese food if you're looking for something fast. The cream cheese wontons were amazing and they did not cheap out on the cheese! The fried rice and Orange chicken were amazing! Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

My kids wanted some fast food Chinese and we decided to give this place a try. We ordered a combo A chow mein noodles and orange chicken and WOW great portion enough to feed 2 people. The orange chicken was really good because we can taste more chicken than the batter and the chow mein noodle was okay, maybe because it was nearly the end. Otherwise, friendly service and we would come back.

Plenty of food but not use to that style of orange chicken. Egg soup is great. Might go back and try other entrees

The location was easy to find the cashier was very nice and helpful when she took my order. I got orange chicken, chow mien, egg rolls, fried rice, beef and broccoli. The only thing that was good out of all of that was the egg rolls. I was highly disappointed because I was craving Chinese food and I always go to the Hong Kong Express in Santa Ana. But I had seen this was closer and was like hey let's try it. I did see the reviews but I still wanted to taste it myself and yes they are correct it is not good. The food for me was all cooked well and it was a great temperature. But it was just bland didn't meet my expectations compared to H.K.E in SA. The location itself was very clean they had some tables for you to sit in if you wanted to nothing bad. It looks fairly new or could be people just don't sit and eat there.
