Holy Cow

I heard that a new Japanese Wagyu BBQ restaurant opened nearby, so I made an appointment with my neighbors to try it out. After eating, they all praised it and the ingredients were very good.

My first time at Holy Cow! I went after their grand opening and the food & service was amazing! The waiters were extremely attentive and service was very fast. All the meat, side, and appetizer selections were great!

Absolutely love the service, super helpful on explaining the meats and if they're lean or fatty. Servers are attentive to our needs and clearing the table as we eat. Also love how the meats are not pre seasoned and we can add the seasoning the way we like. Will recommend and come again with others.

Japanese bbq. Perfect cuts of meat, delicious, and great quality. Service is great. Ambiance is great.Side dishes are terrible. Needs beer and I would go back.

Excellent quantity of A5 waygu beef. Even side dishes are so good! Drink is only for $1! Warm heart service and introduce every single kind of meat. Comfortable Ambiance! Holy cow made our good weekend! 5 minutes from my home. Will come back sooooooon!

Found Holy Cow just browsing on Yelp. A new Japanese BBQ spot in Chino Hills was a try! My wife and I dined here a few weeks ago with my cousins for a Saturday lunch. We came in around 1:30pm and had a table for 8 so we were seated at 2 neighboring tables. The waitress explained their menu since it was all our first time.The restaurant has a trendy vibe and played good music in the restaurant. There's a decent amount of seating and grills as well. We went with the Platinum tier $45/pp. The menu has an extensive selection of wagyu meats and a good selection of sides. Service was pretty fast and food and meats came out fairly quickly. You get 90 minutes to dine. My personal favorites were the Wagyu Briskets, top blade, thick short rib and the Zabuton. The Wagyu Zabuton is a delicious cut and I've tried it at other Japanese BBQ spots. As for the sides, I liked the Salmon Tartare & carpaccio. The Salmon Tataki and Wagyu beef taco were good too. Overall, the dining experience and food are definitely worth a return trip. There's not many Japanese BBQ spots in the I.E. or Chino Hills, so Holy Cow is worth trying for sure!

New wagyu bbq store in Chino Hills. They do have wagyu meats, which tasted good - our favorite was the zaboutan cut. I will have to say that the sides needs some improvement. They didn't seem to blend well with the type of meats they were providing and made the experience feel odd. They had a dipping sauce for the meats one was ponzu and the yakiniku sauce. I felt like the yakiniku sauce was too sweet and overpowered the flavors of the steaks. I see a lot of potential, however, the manager did say they were working on improving their menu and the sides, so looking forward to giving them another try in the future

What a Great Evening with Family! Ambiance is super laid back with Such Attentive Service. Jason took very good care of our table and cleared plates constantly so we never feel we have a messy eating area. The meats fook and the wild shrimp - Wow! Many side dishes to choose from and cheese corn...tip- watch for the burnt bottom from the strong fire! We love the brisket, top loin, and the Zabuton all were out top fave meat plates. We finished with a nice popsicle!

Great quality meats! The Finger Meats had such an awesome flavor that they stole the show! The staff were attentive and very friendly, their recommendations were top notch and they always made sure our empty plates were taken to make space for more meats! I would definitely come back for more :)

A five-star experience for premium meet and seafood lovers. The premium Wagyu selection is next-level, beautifully marbled and incredibly tender. The seafood is just as impressive, with fresh shrimp grilling to juicy perfection. Sides are surprisingly good: fresh and juicy salmon and tuna, great ramen, etc. The staff is attentive, keeping the grill fresh, and very friendly.The nice vibe and ambiance makes it perfect for celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself to a great meal. Will definitely be back!
