Really cool inside, but we got take out, so will dine inside next time.Nice staff & take-out packaged well.We got their Chicken Pot Pie and it was good. Got a strawberry cheesecake that was pretty good.First time here and we will be back. They have a very great menu and so many other dishes we want to try there.

Tried the Yankee Pot roast.. oh boy.. tender.. full of flavor.. tasted home made. Veggies were perfectly cooksIced tea even tasted great..Our server unfortunately had RBF.. which is rare for a man.. but he turned out to be a great server.. not gonna lie.. His RBF had us concerned he was going to ruin our first experience..So if u get him.. just make him smile.. once he does.. its changed the whole vibe. Servers need to keep a happy face.. in order to keep the customers comfortable and helps with the vibe of the experience.. Don't forget to order pie to go!! They all are amazing. Yes. Okay. I decided to give Hof's Hut a second chance. You see in December I ordered two of their Chocolate Truffle cakes because they had become one of my favorites...but these did not meet up to my expectations. Disappointed because they were the highlight of our dessert for Christmas. This time my sister invited me out to dinner and we chose Hof's. Needless to say, that although the food when bought out looked delicious, but my meatloaf was not as flavorful as in the past...something was missing...the gravy was too salty. My sister ordered the trout that she said tasted fine but her mashed potatoes were cold. We had pie, my chocolate cream was okay, they changed it a bit and instead of a fluffy light cream topping it was dense and looked like butter. The crust wasmarginal, not as flaky as they had made in the past...I thought that they were store bought. All in all, I now firmly believe that Hof's has changed their Chef and for whatever reason they moved away from that homemade food to ones that seem massed produced. It will be a while before I decide to spend my hard earned money at any of their restaurants.Something needs to change...Back to the past?I can say that the interior is modern.They would have earned two stars but because Adrianna was so pleasant of a server, I gave them three stars.

Nice modern art deco vibe inside. Nice bar area as well. Establishment is clean and cozy. Service was quick, kind and efficient. ordered a half rack of ribs with a side of mash and creamed corn. Came with your choice of bread on the side. Also ordered fried chicken on a biscuit, berry pie and a commercial roll. All excellent! Overall a cozy family dining experience with a bit of class.

So, we went back to Hof's Hut to give it another try, and I'm glad we did! This time, hubby and son ordered breakfast--the Eggs Benedict and the Hof's Special (omelette with sausage, mushrooms, peppers, green chili, onions, and cheddar cheese). Both were really good, especially the "those potatoes." I ordered the chicken pot pie, which was delicious! I loved the crust ! I also liked the ranch dressing on my side salad, and I'm picky about ranch dressing. This visit was one that shows it's always good to give a place (or person) a second chance. We will definitely be back--me specifically for the chicken pot pie. The serving sizes here are quite large, so come hungry. Neither hubby or I could finish our meals. Not a bad problem to have!Bonus: I fell in love with the coffee cups here. There is a little Hof's Hut chef in the inside that you can see as you drink your coffee and the level goes down. I found out they sell them, and I am now the proud owner of my own Hof's Hut coffee cup!Bonus--

I came here for the first time because I heard their pies are great. I also came because I often come to the town center to run errands. I was disappointed in the fact that the service was extremely slow but workers were rude. I understand that their bakery part might not get too many customers since people are mostly there to eat in the restaurant. But, this other customer and I were waiting for 20-30 minutes just waiting for a worker to come out and take our order. Additionally, a lot of the workers kept coming out to the front to help host customers to their table but didn't communicate that they should have a coworker come out to the bakery side. Again, since it's slow, I understand they probably didn't think to come outside, but this is something they can improve on. The girl who took my pastry order was rude because she just said, "can I help you with something like are you trying to order or?" Not sure why she would word it that way considering there was a short line of people hoping to get a pastry or two. The cashier guy was also kinda rude, having conversations with his coworkers while taking my card. He didn't even acknowledge me at all other than having me pay and didn't even tell me that my card went through so we stood there for a while. And when I was about to ask, he said, "it's already done. Sign here." He could be straightforward and all, but I think his customer service skills can be better. He doesn't need to have a conversation, but at least speak more politely and acknowledge a customer just simply by saying, "hello, you got a X y z?"
