Hobo Co Pizza

Perhaps the food truck serves great pizzas at other events but I was pretty disappointed on the margherita pizza at WonderCon. Although the pizza crust was soft it was really flimsy and not hot to the touch. Mozzarella slices were quite rubbery and not melty at all.I had half of a full order pizza and was still hungry. Not worth the $25 to me.

This might be the best pizza I've ever had. Our office complex in Irvine started hosting bi-weekly food trucks at lunch and Hobo Co Pizza was here the first week. Never had a pizza from a food truck but was intrigued. The lady who took my order was super friendly and we had a nice little chat while I was ordering. Took only about 10 minutes for my order to be ready and I took it back to my office.I was pleasantly greeted by a wonderful looking pizza on first glance, prepared the way I like it. Cooked perfectly with a thin crust with a nice thick, bubbly, slightly charred edge, certainly passed the visual inspection. It only got better from there, the first bite was incredible. The crust is the star of this pizza, has a nice light crisp on the outside and a perfect chew. The sauce is exceptional, both in flavor and application, not too much, not too little, just the right amount. I can confidentially say this is the best pizza to ever grace the borders of Irvine, unfortunately it's not a permanent fixture here, although I hope they come back frequently. I'll certainly be letting Irvine Co. know how I feel about them and requesting they invite them back often.

25$ for a 12" pizza out of a food truck is just plain ridiculous. Pizza was doughy and lacked flavor. Absolutely sick of food trucks thinking they can charge the same if not more than a brick and mortar. I honestly don't understand how people give this place 4-5 stars. Makes me think they're friends or paid reviews.

Their bbq chicken pizza? STUPID good. Love this company. Their staff is super friendly and their food is delicious!

Still the best pizza ever. Tried the meat lovers today. Fast and friendly service. I wish they had a brick and mortar store.

I work in a very boring, vanilla biz park in Irvine, CA. A few times a few food trucks pop in to offer their food and most are fairly meh... Of all the different things I could have gotten from a food truck, pizza was not what I expected to be the star amongst so many other trucks... hobo is making a great pizza considering it's doing it on a truck. I have gotten it 2x and the quality is consistent! Service is fast and friendly. The personal sizes pie is out in about 8-10min and it's so worth it!!! If you have the chance to try it, don't hesitate!

DELICIOUS PIZZA! Sometimes you're at an event, like DesignerCon, and you just want lunch in a timely way, so you think, "This'll do."Well, this DOES do--but it's also excellent pizza all on its own. The BBQ chicken and bacon pizza was especially delicious--the crust was perfect, the BBQ sauce smoky and sweet but not overpowering, the chicken was good and the bacon crisp. Just what you'd ask for in any pizza, especially remarkable in food truck form.So when you see this food truck, know that it's GOOD PIZZA, not just for a food truck, but all on its own.

Pizza was decent. Both times ordering. Pretty disappointed they couldn't add such a simple request; extra basil to a half pizza but supposedly they can't for a full. Would love to know the reasoning behind that ingenious plan.

Stumbled upon this amazing gem outside of Stereoscope coffee a few weeks ago and was blown away by the flavors. I loved the flavor with pesto and hope they update their Instagram so I can try additional flavors soon!
