Higo Peru

Tasty food, great service, light mood ambiance I did not know what to expect when friend suggested to meet here for lunch special - $12.95, including soup and ... So friend ordered Saltado DePollo, and I had Pescado Frito. Chicken dish was so tasty, the sauce was very good, it comes with side dishes including white rice. My filet of sea bass was perfectly pan fried, seasoning well, not salty. I loved it! It also came with pan fried potato and white rice!! This is all about VALUE!! I will definitely come back, highly recommend!

Higo has changed ownership over the last few years. It is much nicely painted and decorated inside with a very friendly staff. My husband and I came here a few times. I forgot to take a picture of their delicious lomo saltado.We also tried their lunch specials which are also very filling. It's a good Peruvian place to try.

I haven't been back in so long, so was pleasantly surprised that they've turned into a sit down restaurant; however service and taste were still good. We were hungry, so the 2 of use ordered 5 items and only finished 1. The fried seafood was huge, and was still pretty good even as takeout the next day, as were the sweet potato fries. The plantains were a delight and we enjoyed both the entrees.

It was our first time here and let me start by saying that we are absolute fans! I've enjoyed Peruvian from many different in locations in California. After eating Peruvian food from my sister-in-law all seemed to fall short. That was until today! Every plate we had was bursting with flavor. 4 of the 5 plates were completely cleaned by my family. Very tender steak on the Lomo Saltado and the Plato Pobre was devoured by my 14 year-old. That large steak cut was prepped perfectly at medium. Fried yucca was crunchy, and the plátanos fritos were sweet. I personally enjoyed the Chicha Morada. Lastly, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Many restaurants fail to make a customer feel welcomed and Higo de Peru did not. The cooking staff even made en effort to check in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. In case I need to convince you, allow me to make it clear that Higo de Peru will be my families #1 Peruvian restaurant.

Food was great. We expected the $20 a plate price. I got fish which was amazing, will come again. We wish the decor was better it was the basic gen z style drawings. Service was good.

Upon arrival, we were greeted enthusiastically and sat right away.their ají verde is good! Didn't take a picture of the 3-4 cups of ají verde on the entrees bc it was that yummy, ate it UP. The saltados were super yummy and flavorful. I had left overs of this dish and it was even better two days later (left at work :( smh ) !!! I cannot wait to come back dine here. Their Lucama was enjoyable to me but I just don't appreciate the chocolate drizzle on top.The restaurant is very nice and put together well. We were amazed by the art on the walls. When we left, they were so nice when saying farewell ! Thank you for the yummy food & wonderful service (:

Okay I've been here when it was Higo Express and this is way better! Food quality is solid. Portions are huge. Price is decent given said portions.Squid very tender, shrimp moist, beef not dry. Dare I say this place is better than my OG spot, Mr. Pollo?The staff was also super friendly. May have been the owner of owner's daughter?My birthday is in a month and I already told my family we're coming back here!

Came here for dinner one night. The food was awesome. Service was nice. The place is so cute. Will definitely keep coming back. Green noodles are my favorite.

Arroz chaufa is delicious I was disappointed because this was my 3rd attempt to order tamales, it's in the menu but never available

The ceviche is delicious, I highly recommend this place.Restaurant pretty clean.Everything is delicious
