Haru Sushi

Absolute GOATED sushi spot!!This is a hole in the wall, family owned sushi spot located in the back of the supermarket. Great value for price. I ordered the 10 piece sushi which also came with miso soup. Fish was fresh. Sushi and soup tasted great. Service was great. They do charge a fee for using credit cards.The place can get pretty busy, so try ordering earlier in the day to avoid them running out of ingredients (which has happened a couple times).Parking - free parking. Very popular shopping center, so parking can get crazy. There's always parking side of the supermarket (on the side of La Mirada Blvd).

When we moved to West Anaheim, we thought finding good, affordable sushi was a lost cause. Never thought we'd discover our favourite spot inside a Korean market in Buena Park. Haru Sushi is part of a small food court, hiding in the back of the market (Enter the store and make a sharp left, then walk around, past the merchant shops, to find the food court). It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, they're making some of the best sushi and Japanese food we've had in a long time. Not only is it a great value, it's fresh and delicious. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but be sure to order their salmon-skin salad at least once. Nobody does it better. Keep in mind, they take all kinds of weird payment options, but they prefer cash.

Not bad place. -affordable. It's in the food court area just beside the noodle place. Best to just do take out. They only accept cash and checks though. I think because of that they are able to keep the prices low. Tried the stinky roll. It was okay. There was a thin layer of rice but the stuffings were a lot and was pretty good for the price. It was 9usd actually. Not bad. It came with miso soup too. After you pay, they'll announce your order on a mic and just pick it up.

The sashimi bowl here is great. For this price, the quantity is amazing. Two proole could share this. I'm a fan.

Ordered a platter, which was a good deal and discounted pricing compared to buying each roll separately. Each roll came with a cup of miso soup. Sushi came with ginger and wasabi, packaged soy sauce packets.Located inside Hannam Chain supermarket food court. Went first thing in morning when they opened on NYE, had to wait about 20-30mins for 6 roll platter to be ready. Spent the time browsing and shopping the supermarket. Probably a good idea to call ahead and place order, especially during peak hoursPrices are great, cheap. You get surprisingly good quality and quantity of food for the price, I was pleasantly surprised at how big and filled the rolls were. They definitely don't skimp on anything! All the rolls were tasty, a great place to get specialty rolls at an amazing price!Definitely will be back again for more!

Unbelievable!!!!! That this delicious amazing sushi place is inside a market food court, because this place is truly the best hwedubbab I've ever had anywhere!!! Thank you so much for our delicious lunch today. Our new go-to sushi spot for takeout!!!

This is our "Go to" sushi place. We live nearby and we love the sushi here better than any of the other places near us...and believe me, there are plenty of sushi places near us (Buena Park/Fullerton Area). But Haru Sushi is our #1 choice. We've been going here for years. We love the variety of Sushi they serve. They are delicious and the size of the sushi is wonderful. The fish, yes the fish is soooo fresh!!! We also love the the Market Food Court atmosphere!!! It's as authentic as you're gonna get!!! Joon is awesome too. She's Friendly and fast. Love the fact that she remembers her "regulars" by name. :) When ever someone visits us and craving sushi, I always take them here and they love it.

I went to the market, got a bit hungry, so I ordered some food. It was really great! Especially the sushi & udon combo and the sashimi rice bowl--definitely the best in Orange County. It's just as good as fine dining.Highly recommend!

Okay, I've been to fancy sushi restaurants and it's always the hole in the wall that's 10x more delicious. I got an udon and dragon roll with a crunch shrimp hand roll to start with and every component is a slam dunk. Absolutely delicious and the couple that runs this place is so beyond kind. They could tell I was weak from hunger so they gave me lots of miso soup and the hand roll right away so it could tide me over while they torched the most delicious udon I've ever had. I ate better here than in literal Japan. I'll definitely visit again if I'm ever in the area.

Excellent place for sushi. Always fresh sushi at a great price. We had family come over from New York City and they raved about how much food you get and they just tried everything on the menu. So yeah if NY foodies liked it, you should go there. This place is a hidden Gem. Their salad is wonderful. Their sushi is generously sized. Our kids love the Philadelphia roll. Hard to find a place where it's healthy and affordable and where the kids like also. So plus - plus - plus for us.
